Off The Trail

As I stand there, over looking the town. I think to myself once again, where am I. How did I get here. And how do I get back. As I think about this more and more under the radiant sun, I start to feel dizzy. This dizziness then becomes a terrible headache. Bad enough for me to take a knee and hold press my temples.

"Arghhh" I mumble.

"What is going on" I ask.

I collapse to the ground under a dizzy spell and close my eyes to feel the warm soft grass, and the silent breeze which blows against where I lay.

Zecora left the hut in a hurry. Her friend Twilight Sparkle must know of what this creature is, for she is the Princess student after all.

As Zecora gallops her way over the grassy hill that overlooks Ponyville, she takes one second to get a good view of the town. It was summer so it was rare to see ponies inside their houses. For outside was beautiful today. The sun shone brilliantly through the clear sky. Although it had poured yesterday, there was not even a trace left of the horrible weather.

She quickly cleared her mind and made her way to the tree house in which Twilight lived in.

*Knock* *Knock* *Knock*

"Come in!" Twilight responded behind the door.

Zecora quickly made her way into the house, and came to Twilight. She told her of everything that happened with the last day. Zecora then said she had a rough sketch of the creature and the proportions of him. She reached over to her side, to only realize in her rushing, she had forgotten her saddle bags and book.

"Where is it!" Twilight asked.

She then explained how in her rush she had forgotten it at her hut.

"Quickly come with me, for you will then see" Zecora said.

Twlight went over to Spike and told her assistant that she was gonna be gone for awhile.

"Where are you going, can I come?" Spike asked in a very excited manner.

"Im sorry Spike but this is errr- a special private mission from the princess for me and Zecora only! Yeah, that's it" She quickly lied.

She didn't want to worry Spike about what was going on.

"If you say so Twi" He said.

And with that they were gone. Off to her hut to meet this creature. Yes, he was at the hut. Waiting patiently for their arrival.

I swim around in unconsciousness, trying to reach a certain noise. It was like a clock, ticking, and ticking in his mind. That's all he heard.

Am I going crazy?

Tick, tick, tick, tick, tick, tick, tick, tick, tick.

Wait it stopped.

Then it began again.

Tick, tick, tick, tick, tick, tick, tick, tick, tick.

"Is he here?"

Wait who was that.

"His arrival was not unnoticed"

Who's talking?

"He is merely a child"

"Yes I do agree"

"But this will make it easier"

The voices I heard sounded the same.

"For they will try their best to get rid of him"

*BEEP* BEEP* *BEEP

Am I losing it?

I think I am.

Wait, what's thats that noise?

"Please don't leave us"

Even if I couldn't remember my name, the compassion, love, and kindness in that voice will never be forgotten.

Mom.

*BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP*

Zecora and Twilight quickly made their way up the hill, anxious to see the creature. But upon getting to the top, there lay on its side the creature. Twilight saw the creature and she could feel the non existent magic within it. How could one not have magic in it.

"What is it doing here Zecora!" Twilight asked.

"He must of been scared, even though I showed him I care!" Zecora replied.

This is bad Twilight thought.

"Can it communicate?" Twilight asked.

"It can speak, its quite unique" Zecora replied.

"I have to get the princess" Twilight said.

I can now feel a new presence around me. As I start to feel myself drift out of whatever dream I had, I start to feel worried. Why are there people in my bedroom with me. I open my eyes to only be confronted to the sun and cloudless sky.

Damn, thought it was over.

I start to lean up, but then I hear a startled yelp. I look to my left and see a brightly colored purple horse staring at me.

"H-h -hi?" I say.

"You can speak" The horse lady says.

"Who are you" I ask nervously.

"I am Twilight Sparkle" she says.

"But who are you?" She continues.

"I cant remember" I say back.

"What do you mean you cant remember" She asks.

I then explain to her how I got here and what happened.

"Can you walk" She asks after hearing about my leg and arm.

"Yea" I say.

"We need to head back to Zecoras place, we need to figure out who and what you are" Twilight says.

"Oh, im a human" I say.

"Hooumuan?" She says back, butchering the word.

"Yea, close enough" I say.

So we make our way back to the hut.

But in the shadowy bushes behind us a forgotten evil is watching.

"This will take awhile, I must make it urgent" It says.
