Beyond the Everfree Forest, past the Great Rolling Fields, and to the west of the Frozen North lies the wall. An ancient construct lost to time. As a result, from exquisite craftsponyship, being miles high, and being bordered by both the sea and Frozen Mountains, no pony could fly above or around the wall, and no Unicorn could decrypt the old enchantments that covered its surface. A team of six ponies goes to the wall in the hopes of gathering research, but instead only meet their doom. What research they had, however, greatly confused the Scientific Equestrian Community, and so Celestia was requested by a court of law to aid in making sense of the findings. Although when she provided no help the case was dropped. Three hundred years later, Twilight Sparkle, student of Celestia, makes a shocking discovery while reading old court records, and in an attempt to make sense of what happened, she tries to find the wall and what fate beheld the researchers.
