Previous ChapterAn hour had passed since Pinkie Pie last checked on the twins. Pound Cake was fast asleep in his crib. The light of the moon was shining down on him. Little Pound Cake squirmed in his sleep, his hoofs kicking at the air.

In the dream of the young Pegasus, Pound Cake was dreaming that he was flying in the sky again. The sky was blue and the clouds were in the shape of all kind of sweet treats.
As Pound flew past the cup cake shaped clouds, he noticed that there were other Pegasus flying with him. There was Pinkie Pies friend Rainbow Dash, the mover ponies from today, the grey crossed eye pony, who was flying backwards, and some ponies who were wearing cool blue jump suites.
Pound began to pick up speed and soon he was going faster then the other.
The group of Pegasus stopped in amazement of little colt’s speed. Next, Pound flew threw some donut shaped clouds and flew up into a giant cake shaped cloud.
The viewing Pegasus watched the cake shaped cloud, waiting in worry.
Then Pound Cake shot out of the top of the cake. The cake cloud split in half perfectly.
The Pegasus group was in shock at the sight they saw and soon began cheering in excitement and began chanting his name.
“Pound Cake, Pound Cake, Pound Cake.” Chanted the crowd.
Pound Cake looked down at the crowed of Pegasus cheering for him. He lifted his hoofs in the air and smiled down at them.
The crowed began cheering even harder for him.
Pound was very happy.
Suddenly the blue sky turned black. Pound Cake turned around and saw monster sized dark cloud was coming towards them.
BOOM!!! As, thunder erupted from the cloud.
He then looked down at the cheering crowed, who were not cheering anymore. They all looked scared and terrified of the giant cloud.
BOOM!!
The cloud made another huge booming noise, which made the entire Pegasus fly away in terror away from the cloud. Pound Cake also began to fly away trying to keep up with the others.
As three Pegasus flew past the cup cake shaped clouds, the clouds began turning black and were spinning very fast, turning into small tornadoes. They soon chased the Pegasus and trapping them.
Pound watched in terror, as one Pegasus after another was trapped in the small tornadoes and then disappeared.

Back inside the dream, more and more of the Pegasus were being caught by the tornadoes. Disappearing into the vortex of wind.
As three of the small tornadoes passed a little cloud that had not changed, Pound Cake popped his head out. Once he saw that they were gone he started looking left and right.
‘Where’s the light?’ thought Pound Cake.
Pound Cake was not sure why, but he knew if he found the light that he would be safe.
As he looked around the area he saw something shining in the distances. It was a small blue light.
‘It’s the light!’ Thought Pound as he smiled.
It was indeed the light that Pound was looking for.
The little Pegasus looked around to make sure that the tornadoes did not see him. Once he knew it was clear, he left the cloud and started flying toured the light. As he made his way, he stopped and looked at it again.
‘Why is the light so far away and so small?’ thought, Pound.
Indeed something was wrong with the light this time. In other dreams that Pound had, the light was always bigger and was much closer to him.
The little Pegasus was concerned about this, but he did not want to take his chances with the clouds. He continued to flying towards the light.
The small tornadoes then saw Pound Cake flying away and started heading towards him.
Pound Cake turned around and saw that a dozen of the small tornadoes were right behind him. He started to fly fast and faster, but no matter how hard little Pound pushed himself he was not getting any closer to the light.
He turned around again and saw that the tornadoes were coming together and forming a massive black tornado. In the middle of the tornado, two large red eyes formed and a large mouth. The large tornado made a sinister laugh as it opened its mouth.
The large tornado began to descend towards Pound Cake, opening its large mouth about ready to eat him.
Pound Cake reached his hoof out towards the light.
‘I can make it, I can make it,’ said Pound Cake, but he couldn’t.
Pound Cake turned around and saw the tornado getting closer and closer to him. The look of fear on the young Pegasus face.

Outside of the dream, Pound Cake was tossing and turning more franticly. Until he shot up from his blackest, painting very hard, sweat still dropping from his face.
Pound Cake looked around and saw that he was awake now and not in any danger. He got out from under his blackest and began walking back and forth from one side of the bed to the other.
‘It was just a dream.’ Thought the little colt, as he continued to walk.
As Pound walked to the end of his crib, he saw something in the corner of the room. He looked threw the bars and was shocked at what he saw.
In the corner of the room was a large square like creature with two odd shaped heads.
Pound then ran to the other side of his crib, trying to get away from the beast. As he was running Pound looked back to see if it was chasseing him. As Pound was running, he rammed right into the frame of the bed. He rubbed his head.
Once Pound got back on his feet, he looked up and saw, two small creators sitting on the dresser.
The two creators were small, covered in darkness, and were looking right at him.
Pound Cake was so scared of the monsters that he jumped under his covers and began shivering.
Under the converse, Pound had his eyes closed shut.
‘I’m so scared,’ thought Pound Cake. ‘I want mommy. I want daddy. I want the light!’
Suddenly Pound heard a very odd noise.
‘What was that?’
Pound Cake stopped shacking and then moved the covers up a little so only one eye could see. As Pound look strait a head he saw on the other side of the room, a small blue light.
‘It’s the light.’ thought, Pound Cake. ‘
The little pegasus was so happy that he shot out from under his blankets, balanced himself on the bars and looked at the other side of the room. As he looked at where the light was coming from, his look of happiness turned into a look of confusion, as the light was coming from Pumpkin Cakes crib.
‘Why is the light coming from Pumpkin Cakes crib?’ thought Pound Cake.
He looked a little closer and saw that the light was not just coming from Pumpkins crib, but Pumpkin Cake was making the light with her horn.
Inside Pumpkin Cakes crib, Pumpkin was under her covers, but she was not sleeping. She was pouting and looking at her stuffed animals.
Pound Cake rubbed his little eye’s to make sure he was not seeing things and looked again.
‘Pumpkin Cake is the light.’ thought Pound Cake.
Just than Pumpkin Cake looked towards Pounds crib. He then ducked back down and back under the covers before she could see him. While under the covers he than began thinking about what he saw.
‘So all this time Pumpkin was the light.’
Pound Cake closed his eyes and began to remember about today and all the things that Pumpkin Cake did. He remembered the fight they had last night, the food fight, and how she popped his favorite ball.
He then opened his eyes, and there was angry in his eyes.
‘NO, Pumpkin Cake cannot be the light. The light has always been gentle and kind. Pumpkin does not even care about me.’
Pound Cake than closed his eyes and then remembered how to throw her toys out of the crib, how he hit the spoon in the bowl that started the food fight, and how he pored milk on her favorite toy.
He then opened his eyes with a sad look on his face.
‘But, what have I done to deserve her light?’ thought Pound Cake.
Pound then looked over at Pumpkin Cakes crib.
‘Maybe, Pumpkin is gentle and kind and I need to be kind to her.’ Thought Pound Cake. ‘I need to set things right.’
Pound Cake got out from under his covers, stood up, balancing himself on the crib bars and as he looked over, looking right at him was his sister, Pumpkin Cake.
