We all know how the big finish of Equestria Girls 1 went. Sunset Shimmer put on the crown, turned into a raging she-demon, brainwashed an entire school, and got her butt kicked by the human versions of the Mane 6, unwittingly attracting the Sirens, I might add, The human Mane 5 then agreed to teach Sunset Shimmer about friendship.

But, as a great movie based on a board game once said: That's how it COULD have happened, but how about this?

Midnight on third day of the portal being open drew near, and the Princesses and other Element Bearers were slowly begining to fear that Twilight might not find the crown in time.

But, something came out of the portal all right: a trio of demon ponies backed up by an army of zombie ponies. Then… the takeover began.

Join me as I spin the tale of the freedom fight against Sunset Shimmer and her dark forces. But, will the heroes win? Or will Sunset ultimately rule a kingdom of one?
