"ah get to go on mah pokemon adventure today!" Apple bloom shot out of her bed and ran to her sister, AppleJack. "Applejack! Ah get to meet the professor today! Ah can finally earn mah pokemon master cutie mark!" Apple bloom said as happily as she could. "Yes, I know," Said Applejack with not much enthusiasm. "Is something wrong, sis?" Apple bloom said with worry. "you don't sound very happy." "No! Nothings wrong! Not at all!" Applejack said, while obviously lying. "Big sis, I can tell your lying, you are the element of honesty after all!" Apple bloom said, back to her happy, normal tone. "Nope! not at all! Your big sis would never lie!" Applejack said, still trying to hide the fact that she would miss her little sister. "Whatever you say, AJ," Said apple bloom. She walked out the door and headed to the professors lab. Applejack Shed a tear as her sister walked out the door. "Mah sis is finally growin up," She said. Applebloom was heading to carousel boutique to meet up with her friend Sweetie belle when she ran into something strange. Apple bloom bumped into a stallion wearing a strange coat covered in armor. He seemed to be a unicorn, but Apple bloom couldn't tell. "Hey! Watch it, filly!" He said to Apple bloom as he stormed off. "What was up with him?" Apple bloom wondered. She continued to walk to her friends house, when she finally got there. She knocked on the door and was greeted by Sweetie belles sister, Rarity. "Oh, hello darling! If you're looking for sweetie belle and scootaloo, they already left. You could still catch up to them if you are fast enough!" Rarity said. "Okay. Thanks rarity!" Apple bloom said, Thankful for the information. "Oh, no worries, dear. I'm glad to help! You better start running!" Rarity said. "Okay! Bye Rarity!" Apple bloom bolted off as fast as she could. She ran as far as she could, and for as long as she could. Just when she thought she wasn't able to run anymore, She saw her friends in the distance. "Sweetie belle!" Scootaloo! Wait!" They turned around to see their friend running right at them. "Apple bloom!" Sweetie belle and scootaloo both shouted in unison. They were happy to meet their best friend right next to where the professor lives. Suddenly, a rainbow maned pegasus dropped out of the sky. "Hey squirt! What are you and your friends doing here?" The pegasus asked. "Rainbow dash! We were just going to get our very first pokemon! so we could get our..." Scootaloo suddenly stopped and looked at her friends. they knew what to do. "POKEMON CHAMPION CUTIE MARKS!" They all shouted at rainbow dash, who was impressed by their teamwork. "Okay. But just remember, you'll never get good enough to beat me!" Rainbow exclaimed as confidently as she could. "Hay! What's that supposed to mean?" Apple bloom asked rainbow, a bit angry. "It means that you'll never beat me! In fact, I'm perfecting my pokemon so well, I think I think I will be able to join the elite 4 someday!" Rainbow shouted happily, almost as if she thought she already was a member of the elites. "Well anyways, good bye, soon to be champions!" Rainbow said, cheering the three fillies on. "Bye rainbow dash!" The three said while she flew away. "Isn't she amazing?" scootaloo asked. As the three fillies entered the lab, they were greeted by the professor. "Hello, Apple bloom, Sweetie belle, and scootaloo. It's good to see you all here today!" The professor said, happy to be seeing the aspiring pokemon masters. The cutie mark crusaders All greeted professor twilight the same way. With a hug. "So twilight. We heard you had pokemon for us?" Apple bloom asked, hopeful that the answer would be yes. "Of course I do. Why else would I have called you to the castle?" Twilight asked the excited fillies. "To teach us another long and super boooooring lecture about pokemon." Scootaloo said. While the other two were laughing about her comment, Twilight scowled at scootaloo. "Anyways, Let's just get you your pokemon, shall we?" The professor asked, already knowing the answer to the question. "YEAH!" The cutie mark crusaders all shouted at the same time. "Okay, great! Follow me then!" Twilight ordered, while walking away to the room where she stored all of her extra pokemon for fillies and colts who were ready to start their adventures. She knew the perfect pokemon for each of the fillies. "Here they are. Scootaloo, this one is yours, Apple bloom, this one belongs to you, and Sweetie belle, here you go." Twilight said, Excited to see their reaction to the pokemon she chose for them. All three fillies opened the pokeballs at the same time. Each let out a gasp of excitement as they saw their pokemon fly out. A jigglypuff came out of sweetie belles ball. Sweetie bell was already hugging the puffy little thing. Out of Scootaloos ball came a pidgey. "I love it!" Scootaloo said, sounding like she truly meant it. When apple blooms ball opened, Apple bloom was immediately in love. outside of the ball came a beautiful miltank. "I love it! it's just like the ones back home!" apple bloom said, happy to have a pokemon she is familiar with. "I knew you would all like them! Now, I have a special task for all of you. Do you think you could do this one thing for me?" Twilight asked, hopeful they would all say yes. "Of course twilight! What do you need us to do?" Sweetie belle asked. "Well, this machine is called a pokedex. You use it to store data on pokemon you discover. I want you three to try and fill it up all the way!" "Really, Twilight? You think we could do that?" Scootaloo wondered, Genuinely scared that they might not be able to complete that task. "Well, I was never able to do it, but that's because I have been studying pokemon, not trying to catch every single one. I don't know if you can do it or not, but, I want you three to try," said Twilight. "of course we'll try, right cutie mark crusaders?" Apple bloom asked. "Of course we will try Twilight," The other two said. "Great! Now, how a bout we get you prepared to leave the town to start your journey?" Twilight asked, already knowing the three fillies were super excited.
