Simple and straight forward. I stay up way too long at night. At this point life has gotten me down with job hunts not going out as planed and Other non wanted stress from crap that my family puts me through. These stories are hopefully going to one shots at best and shall hopefully be written in one night.

To let you know these stories shall follow a very loose version of My Little Pony: Friendship is magic and is intended to cheer me up if life ever gets me down again.

Please enjoy the my Ramblings to the best of your ability. Also to let you know I will not mark any characters in the story until a later date. Just because multiple story arcs will be in this file.

It was not every night that a pony who nopony has ever heard of was to play the opening act of the gala. It came at a surprise to me only knowing that I will choke under the pressure, after all this will be my first gig that did not reek of cigarette smoke and liquor.

But wait where are my manners, my name is Pianoforte, an earth pony who had just moved from the quiet town of Ponyvile to the bustling big town of Canterlot. I, like many others of my profession is a pianist who plays a wide repertoire of music. Anything that has a beat and can be played on the piano, I can play. I should not boast. Fore I know I am not the best piano player. I am just stallion that likes to play music and loves to see it when ponies are entertained.

Like usual, I show up to the gig almost 2 hours before the ponies are allowed in. Just to allow myself to get use to the sound of the room. And all I can tell you this is no bar in Ponyvile. You can hear almost every single note played can be heard. The piano, one of the most beautiful hunk of wood and ivory to be blessed by Celestia herself. For she makes a sound like a million angels in a single chorus singing praise to sun and moon goddess themselves! I close my eyes and take a deep breath as I bring over the sheet music I have brought as I slowly play through the two fifteen renditions of Neighsart and Buckovthen.

It was now almost five minutes until the doors open. From what I can hear it was a going to be a full house. I gulp softly, getting nervous that I will fail. That I will choke and the ponies there would laugh at me. I know there bunch like blue blood. Nothing more than a stallion, a stallion that only cares for the perfect things in life, including mares. Also a raging racist towards earth ponies, claiming them to just be scum of this earth. Boy I can not wait to see his face all bloodied and bruised by Apple Jack. I can only tell you it would be a sight for sore eyes to see that day. But enough of that, I myself know I will do good. I will show that ball less of stallion how an earth pony can play! I will knock their bow ties and dresses off!

Soon enough I heard the doors open, letting many faces slowly and excitedly crowd into the big, amplified room. As the first wave of ponies come in I slowly begin to play the first piece by Buckothen, Moonlight Sonata. At a faster pace that is, I only have thirty minutes to make a perfect representation of Ponyvile citizenry.

At first, the playing was rough, but with me calming down and focusing on my sheet music it turned out to be more smooth. At this point I did not care how it sounded. I knew tonight would be the best night for me and I will let destiny take me on a ride, a ride that I never want to get off.

Soon enough came the next song, after letting the applauds die down I went onto the second song. A fiveteen minute rendition of Neighsart’s Piano sonata number eight. At this point most of the ponies had their fill and went off to do their own private business in the castle. Notably Blueblood finally left as I calmed down immensely as it helped me concentrate more on the music at hoof. What I can see there was about only now 200 ponies in the room to listen to my music.

As my music dies down I was awarded one last clap from the audience I stand up and give my bow before heading out stage right to join the other ponies in the crowd. After all, a musician's life is filled with the joy of the comments that are given to ponies who love the music as well.
