Stopped at Last... (Chapter 1)
And Then There Were Two
Running. That's all she's ever known and now she wants to run more than she has ever before. She decides it's too risky, so she doesn't. Six days ago, Twilight Sparkle was caught and taken to court. She was sentenced to death the next day however Princess Celestia stopped them and asked them to bring her to Canterlot on 20th of January, 20706; today.
Twilight Sparkle strode down the spotless white halway, tracking mud behind her. She glanced up to see Princess Celestia two or three meters away, mane flowing as if the was an invisible fan next to her, eternally on.
'Twilight Sparkle. It is a pleasure to meet you,' Celestia said.
'Great to see you too!' said Twilight sarcastically.
'No need to be rude, young lady,' laughed Celestia, as she looked around the room polished white room awkwardly. 'It seems you're in a bit of a dilemma, Twilight Sparkle, aren't you?'
'
'Don't patronise me, unless you want your pretty face gain a bruise or two,' muttered Twilight angrily. 'I don't get in dilemmas, I get out of them.'
'Don't be so aggro, Twilight. You can open up to me,' whispered Celestia calmly.
'I swear to god..' said Twilight, before she was cut off.
'Let's cut the crap, Twilight,' said Celestia abruptly. 'Do you want to die, or not? Everyone sees me as a kind, caring ruler, but I don't care about those little fillies, as long as I stay in power, with my sister behind me.'
'You bit-' Twilight started
'Don't even think about it, Miss Sparkle,' said Celestia. 'I can help you out of this mess. There are some ponies in Ponyville you can befriend. If you befriend them in this next week, you may stay alive, and if you try anything funny, I'll have my guards slit your throat. Got it?' And with that she smiled.
'Sure. Give me some names?' Asked Twilight.
'Find Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, Applejack and Fluttershy.'
'Great,' muttered Twilight. 'Goodbye, Celestia. I hope to never see you again.'
Dear Diary,
Well damn. I went to see Celestia today. I have to go make friends! She is such a manipulative whore! For future reference, their names are Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy and Applejack. I freaking hate her. At least once I'm done in Ponyville I could add their corpses to my collection in the forest! Only an idea though. Anyway, the balloon is landing soon and the guards are staring at me funny. I'll write later probably.
-Twilight Sparkle.
As the balloon landed, twilight took in the scenery. Wow! Although it's a small town, it's so pretty! Twilight thought to herself.
'Alright pony, stop your daydreamin' and get off the balloon! Celestia told us we could kill ya' if we want so we might just jump on it!' Ordered one of the four guard ponies.
'What he said!' Barked the other three in unison.
Twilight jumped off and took in the scenery. Parks, benches, shops, houses, libraries, ponies! It's so much more than she had in the forest that she felt like she wanted to become.. Normal! She hated the thought. She shrugged it off, and trotted on slowly, hood up and head towards the ground. She felt even more depressed as she looked around. Children playing, parents watching, families sitting together, having picnics.
You need to stop thinking about this stuff! Just go to the libary, where Celestia told you to stay at. She said she got a little dragon to be your assistant, so that should be annoying. Anyway, it's 4:00 now, so you should get some rest. Twilight thought to herself.
Twilight finally arrived at the libary.
'Uh, hi there! I'm Spike. Princess Celestia told me a 'Twilight Sparkle' would be staying here and I should help her. Is that, by any chance, you?' A purple dragon asked.
'Yes, that is me. Don't get in my way, and we should be fine,' Twilight replied, testing his patience.
'Whatever..' Murmured Spike.
Twilight made her way towards the kitchen where she saw a scroll and some shiny coins. She unwrapped the sealed scroll and read it.
Hello Twilight. Here is some money for food, etc. I've asked your dragon to report to me if you spend it on drugs, so try not to.
'Oh,' Spike said, 'Princess Celestia sent me this scroll for you, and the bits were inside. That should be enough money for a week to feed yourself, as well as buy anything else you might need.'
'Thanks, poindexter,' said Twilight to the dragon.
'Hey! Don't judge me because I read a lot and don't go outside...' moaned Spike.
Twilight left the kitchen, and the sight of the annoying dragon, and made her way towards where she will sleep. It's not a big room, sure,' Twilight thought to herself, but it's good enough, at least for now. and she sighed. It's been a long day, I'll go to bed. she decided, and with that, she took off her cloak, and got in bed,
THE NEXT DAY
'Twilight? Twilight! Wake up!' Shouted spike
'Calm yourself, little dragon!' Muttered Twilight as she rubbed her eyes. Damn dragon woke her up during a good dream. A happy dream. A dream about her friend Rari-
'TWILIIIIIIGGGGTTT!!' Shouted Spike
'I'M COMING! STOP SHOUTING YOU CRAZY MULE!' Shouted Twilight back to him. She got up, got dressed, and walked down the steps towards the annoying dragon. 'What do you want?' Asked Twilight, her eyes only half open.
'Princess Celestia has ordered me to make sure you find and least one of the listed ponies. In case you forgot, they are Applejack, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Da-'
'I know, I know. No need to repeat it.' Encouraged Twilight. 'I'll go find them in the next chapter.'
'What?' Said spike
'I said I'll go find them in a couple hours..' Repeated Twilight.

This is my first fic on this account (I've done a few others before) and I hope you enjoy!
If you enjoy decoding secret messages, etc, then I'll give you a clue for the bottom cipher text - the cipher is Atbash.

The Mane.. 4? (Chapter 2)
'See ya, kid!' Said Twilight to her new dragon follower, and slammed the door.
'Okay! Let's go then,' Twilight said to herself outloud. 'Just gotta find these ponies, make friends with them, give proof to Celestia, then get back into the woods to meet up with Rari-'
'Uh, excuse me?' Came a bold voice.
'Oh. I'm sorry, maybe you should look where you're going?' Said Twilight to the sassy Pegasus she accidentally bumped into.
'Excuuuse me? I'm fluttershy!' The pony sassed.
'Oh my god.. Oh my god.. You're Fluttershy? I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to do that! I apologise!' Said Twilight, putting on her best act of kindness. still hurts.. thought Twilight to herself.
'Yeah I'm fluttershy! What's your deal, purple stranger?' Asked Fluttershy. (If you ask me, it seems this pony is a bit of a sass master.)
'Uh.. I'm here to be your friend? Would you be my friend, Fluttershy? Please! I really want to be your friend!' Pleaded Twilight. A burning sensation rose in her stomach, which only came when she had to be nice. She felt like she wanted to throw up.
'Uh, okay Purple Stranger. What's your name though?' Questioned Fluttershy
'I'm Purple Kitt- Twilight! Twilight Sparkle!' Said Twilight, eyes darting left and right.
'Um, okay Twilight! Twilight Sparkle!. It's a pleasure to meet you.. I guess.' Said Fluttershy.
'Well I better be off,' Said Twilight awkwardly. 'Gotta, uh, go find some ponies. Do you by any chance know of a pony named 'Rainbow Dash'?'
'Oh lord, don't remind me of her!' Shouted Fluttershy. 'That young lady needs a slappin'!'
'Do you, by any chance, know where she could be? Asked Twilight
'Yeah, she'll be at Sugar Cube Corner at 7:00 pm tonight, so hold your humans!' Replied Fluttershy
'Oh I'll hold my humans' whispered Twilight as she backed away. 'I'll hold them.. You sassy monster.'
Sugar Cube Corner... thought Twilight If I go there, I can find Rainbow Dash, then make friends with her! Easy Peasy!
But then came the screams.
'Help me! Help me please!' Screamed a blue-ish rainbow-ish pony. Twilight looked up. There stood a white furred pony, with a knife at the once screaming ponies throat, who was now sobbing dramatically.
'Oi! That you, Twilight Sparkle?' Shouted the attacker towards the purple pony, who's eyes were wide with a little bit of terror, but also curiousity. She had seen a lot worse, but the sudden screams made it surprising for her. The attacker pony had a hood and a bandanna on, so she was hard to identify, but she sounded familiar to Twilight.
'And what if I am?' Asked twilight, testing the ponies patience.
'Answer me properly, or this colourful pony gets the knife!' Screamed the attacker. The knife got closer to the blue pony's neck, and small beads of blood started to form.
'Yes, I am. Who are you?' Asked Twilight. Only then did she notice all of the ponies around her and the other two ponies. It was like all daily life had stopped and the only thing carrying on was this conversation.
'Ya really are? It's me! Ya best friend from tha forest? Rarity!' Said the pony, pulling down their hood to reveal the messy purplish hair that defined her as an outlaw just like Twilight.
'Rarity? Oh my! Is it really you? It's been so long! How's-'
'We can talk later we need to kill this Pegasus. What did you say your name was?' Asked Rarity to the pony. 'Blenjamin? Blan Blan? Bloopblop?''
'Uh-it's- Uh Rainbow D-Dash.' Said the pony, fighting away the tears that were still rolling down her face.

G'day everyone! Hope you enjoyed the chapter! It is a bit short, and I apologise for that. I'm trying to add twists to when twilight meets everyone, to stop it being boring. Don't worry! It'll get dark and spooky after they all are 'friends' with twilight.
