Alright. Deep breath. I'm not completely bucked. Let's look over the positive and negatives.

I'm stuck in the Badlands amidst the wreckage of the Resilient. Negative.

I have a few weeks' worth of food and water. Positive.

I have no survival experience. Negative.

I'm completely alone. Considering the crew I was with, I'm gonna say that's a positive.

I have little to no hope of being rescued. Negative.

Celestia-knows-what is lurking in the shadows, watching me. Negative.

I have no way of contacting anypony. Negative.

Everypony who's ever been lost in the Badlands has never returned. Negative.
