I have no idea. Chapter one i suppose
It was a dark and stormy night. Spike was sitting on his bed, reading the latest issue of Power Ponies by the light of his candle. The Ponies were in an intense power struggle with Mane-iac! This time she had- Oh hello! I didn't see you there! I guess narrating to myself does tend to attract attention. I was just reading the Power Ponies! They were- oh. Right. You heard me. Hehe. Sorry. Here! Have a seat! Would you like something to eat? Maybe to drink? No? Okay. are you comfortable? That's Great! I don't have guests over often, cuz I'm usually helping Twilight out. So I'm happy you're here! We could play a game! Do you like hoofball? No? Darn... Hmmm.... Wanna hear a story? You do? Awesome! Okay here goes! I hope you like it!
Once upon a time, there was a magnificent dragon princess. The most beautiful of all! She made glittering necklaces out of every gemstone she could. She only used the finest stones. Many dragons wanted to marry her, but she refused all of them. They were all too rugged for her taste, and she wanted nothing to do with them. She was waiting for a real gentle dragon. One who could admire her beauty every day. One who could share her great taste of gemstones. One who could set her heart aflutter. None of the dragons could provide that. She was beginning to get very lonely, so she sent out a message to all dragons. Whoever could bring her the legendary pink star gemstone, she would marry. A beautifully vivid pink color, only one was known to exist in all of Equestria! No dragon knew where it could possibly be. Many dragons searched in vain for the beautiful gemstone. None of them brought back the right stone. They brought pink rubies, pink topaz, but never the pink star. Until one day a young dragon heard of this quest. Determined to find this stone for the beautiful dragon princess, he set off from his hometown. His father told him that his fathers father told him it was at the very edge of Equestria, where endless cliffs, steep mountains, and dangerous wildlife were said to be found. He traveled for months and months, visiting every town to hear the folklore of the Pink Star gemstone. Each story led him closer and closer to the edge of Equestria. But the closer he got, the lower his hopes were. The stories got more and more grim, some stating that the gem was lost forever. Others that it had been eaten by an olden dragon from long ago. The young dragon was losing hope. Finally, he had arrived at the very edge of Equestria. There weren't tall mountains or dangerous wildlife to be found. It was just a giant open desert. He continued to walk toward the edge, and peered over. There was total darkness over the edge. Nothing to be seen at all! He let out a sigh. That was it. His journey turned out just like the others. With no gemstone, drained of all hope he turned to walk away when something caught his eye. Something shined about 10 feet down the cliff side. Could this be it? He thought. He began to scale the side of the cliff, holding on tightly, as he didn't want to fall into the abyss. Slowly, he made his way down. He lost his grip a few times, but finally made it to the object. It was a beautiful pink flower bud! It wasn't the gemstone, but maybe he could still take this to the princess. He grabbed the bud and began to climb back up the cliff side. Suddenly a strong gust of wind blew over him and his claw slipped. He fell quickly towards the darkness. He closed his eyes and, gripping tightly to the flower, wished this wasn't the end. His falling abruptly stopped. He slowly opened his eyes. There was nothing but darkness all around, and a feeling of weightlessness.
What's going on? Where am I? He thought.
Dear little one. A voice echoed through his head. You are at the end of the world.
Who are you?
I am the guardian of the end, the keeper of time, and the watcher of Equestrian life. My name is, correctly, Watcher. Why are you here, young one?
Well, Watcher, I'm in search of a Pink Star gemstone. I heard it was at the edge of Equestria from my father.
A very dangerous quest for one such as yourself. Why do you seek the stone?
I wish to marry the most beautiful dragon in all of Equestria.
The voice laughed. A very noble quest indeed! I shall grant your desire, on one condition.
What would you ask, Watcher?
Tell all of your quest. Pass it on as legend. Let others know of your determination and bravery.
I will, Watcher!
Farewell little one.
The young dragon blinked, and suddenly he was back home. he checked his bag and found the flower, still shimmering in the light. The petals began to bloom, revealing a glowing pink gemstone! He had found it! He hurried to the princesses mountain and called to her. She looked curiously at the young dragon.
Yes?
Dear Princess! I have found the Legendary Pink Star gemstone!
Truly? Come here.
He walked up to her, bowing and holding out the gem.
She gasped. You found it! How?
And so he began to tell his tale as many dragons gathered to listen. When he finished the princess gladly accepted his hand in marriage. and so the story of the young dragon has been passed for many generations, and many more to come.
So? Did you like my story? Are you crying?? No don't cry! It's a happy story! Please don't cry! Here's a tissue. That's it. I love a happy ending, don't you? Thanks for listening! I hope you have a good day and continue to tell this tale too!
