Pinkie's lust
Act 1
Load Full StoryNext ChapterJack could hear voices so fast and loud he didn’t understand them. Hyper was an understatement now he had encountered Pinkie Pie in all of her glory. She was disorienting. Jumping up and down, running left and right. He didn’t see the shape of a pony, he just saw a pink swarm of flies as it were.
‘Pinkie! Pinkie! Pinkie!,’ Twilight yelled at here. It worked. She calmed down, enough to now see a bright pink pony with fluffy hair. She had a giant smile on her face, the biggest Jack had ever seen.
‘Why do I have the honour to welcome our very own princess in our store? Something in particular? Cake, chocolate?,’ she wasn’t even paying attention to Jack that was almost twice the size of Twilight. She only had eyes for her friend.
‘Some cake would be nice. But only if you have time to bake it. Every store should close sometimes. Pinkie. But that is not why I came to visit you. I came here to deliver some sort of gift to you.’
‘A gift!,’ she yelled. She started to continuously jump again, excited for her gift.
‘Ooooh! What is it! What is it!’
‘It’s Jack.’
She stopped jumping. Putting on a questioning face.
‘Jack? What is a Jack?’
‘This here is Jack,’ after which he stepped forward. Pinkie looked in fascination at her gift. Not really sure what it was meant to be or do. Jack just let Twilight do the talking. He had no clue what to say to this strange pony.
‘He’s going to keep you company for a while,’ Twilight said.
‘Wow! So… Some sort of pet?’
‘If you would call it that. Can we come in?’
Pinkie nodded and walked into the store in a funny way. Twisting and dancing as she finally sat down on one of the stools near the tables.
‘Jack is new here. He is going to assist you in the store for a little while. Until he’s gotten familiar with us. The village that is.’
‘So… No pet?’
‘Nope. Just like any other pony that would work here.’
‘But he is clearly not a pony,’ she said somewhat irritated.
‘No he isn’t.’
‘So what is he?’
‘Actually… We don’t know. He calls himself human. And he comes from a land far from here. Unknown to us.’
‘So he has no home? He can’t sleep anywhere?’
‘No I can’t as of now,’ Jack replied to her finally speaking again. Pinkie was visually stunned by his ability to talk.
‘You can talk! So… That means can be friends!’
‘Yes… but I don’t know why you can understand me.’
‘Does that matter?,’ Pinkie said laughing.
‘Well…’
‘Of course not dummy!,’ she said loudly while twisting on her stool.
‘All that matters is that you can what you can. All those questions are just useless really.’
‘I… I guess so,’ Jack said smiling.
Pinkies eyes were sparkling. The thought of her getting a new friend filled her with excitement. And a male one too. Something deep in her tummy told her he would be worth the trouble of looking after him. He would return the favour to her, but Jack didn’t know that yet.
‘I guess I can leave you here then?,’ Twilight said finally.
‘Oh yesss! I’ll take good care of him. That’s a Pinkie Promise for you right there!,’ she yelled jumping of her stool and approaching Twilight.
The two ponies did some weird gesture, which apparently was the Pinkie Promise and both went their separate ways. Twilight towards the door, Pinkie towards Jack. When the purple Alicorn arrived at the pink door she turned around, looking at Jack one more time. This time with a face showing slight sadness and regret. And buried deep beneath all of it, jealousy. An emotion Jack couldn’t immediately place at that moment however.
‘Jack,’ she said to him before she walked into the night.
‘Come visit me in a few days. Okay?’
Jack nodded. Approving of that. Then she walked through the door, leaving him alone with the Pink whirlwind living in the bakery. He had been distracted by Twilight's face. He couldn’t figure her out no matter how hard he tried. He snapped out of it. Finally noticing Pinkie Pie hanging from his back. Holding on to his neck with her two front legs. When he looked to his side he saw a pink face the size of a big watermelon with a grin from ear to ear. Her eyes were bright blue. Glimmering of happiness and excitement. It didn’t even scare him seeing here in that position. Somehow he knew she was there before he actually felt or saw her.
‘Hi there!,’ she said softly.
‘So you’re Pinkie Pie huh?,’ Pinkie jumped from his neck and landed surprisingly softly on the ground.
‘Pinkie Pie at your service,’ she said, gesturing a salute while she was at it.
Jack couldn’t hide a smile from this funny creature. Now he started to understand while he was being coupled with her. She would give him happiness. Jack wondered… But the pink storm pushed him out of that.
‘Sooooo? What now huh?,’ she said teasingly.
‘What do you mean?’
‘Weeeellll. We could go to my… personal quarters,’ she said mimicking some high-class personality.
‘That means… to your room?’
‘Yup.’
‘And then what? Just sleep?’
‘Tell me what all those ponies were up to with you. Why they were so upset with you.’
‘Seems like everyone here wants to know that.’
‘We can also eat cake! I’ll make some. Just go upstairs I’ll make something real good for you!’
Jack being slightly perplexed agreed nonetheless to her suggestion. He started walking towards the stairs that would bring him to the second floor and pinkie her “personal quarters” as she called it.
‘Come on! Up you go!,’ she said while pushing him out of the room with her fluffy forehead.
Halfway on the stairs Jack looked back at her, watched her race back and forth gathering cooking gear and ingredients from the cupboards above the stores counter. She did it all with such a strange sort of grace. Like jelly would bounce but always perfectly re-centre back to what it first position was, so did all the equipment she perfectly balanced on her back.
‘So how long will you be leaving me alone?’
‘Long enough for you to sniff around my room,’ she said like she was suggesting it.
‘So? How long?’
‘Until I’m done. And no sneak peaking!’
Jack gave up. She wasn’t going to tell him. She was hiding something from him, he knew that now, although she didn’t really trouble herself with hiding that secret. He proceeded to walk the stairs leading to the first floor. Leaving the very busy pink pony behind. It sounded like a construction site down there in terms of volume. She was lucky she didn’t have neighbours if this was the sound level Pinkie would produce while she was working.
Slowly he walked across the dark hallway lit by lamps. Instantly he saw were Pinkie spent her, unknown to him, very lonely nights. A pink door stood out beside all the brown ones. A giant heart had been painted on it. Even the most girly girls he knew would despise the extremity of her preference although it made things very simple in terms of style.
He opened the door and was almost dazed by the pink colours that attacked him as soon as he saw them, the lights weren’t even on yet. Nothing had been left untouched by Pinkies madness for pink. But it had some style he couldn’t really explain if anyone asked him to. She was herself. And nobody could take that away from her. He admired that. He turned the light switch he found due to pure instinct. Suddenly Jack thought about the secret in here that Pinkie wasn’t hiding.
His first reaction was not even search for it, but he felt almost forced to do it since she had requested it. Maybe not directly. But the way she’d talked about it made things very clear, he was sure of it. She wanted him to find that which was lurking in her room. The lion in the den. The secret treasure as it were. Nothing seemed really out of the ordinary at a first glance. The room was simple. A bed, desk with a mirror, closet, pink walls with hearts painted on them. He opened a random cupboard from her desk and found nothing but personal attributes that didn’t matter. He felt wrong doing this. He didn’t want to spy on someone he just met, even when she was asking him to do it. However, Jack didn’t even have the time to continue his search. He could smell the smell of fresh cake in the doorstep.
Pinkie was here…
‘Well? Quick or not?,’ she asked him smiling while walking intro her room and shutting her door. She was here. She was awfully quiet in comparison to five minutes ago. She was acting so strange with him. Why was she confusing him so much? She wanted him to wonder about her. To ask about that what she was hiding right in front of him.
‘Got to give you credit for that. I wish I could do it as fast as you.’
Pinkie bowed before him, thanking him in her own, funny way. He started to like her more and more. It surprised him he was growing so close to these creatures in such a short time. Not just Pinkie, Twilight too. Even princess Celestia to an extent. He just let it all happen. Resisting would just be an endless torment he didn’t have to endure if he would accept these new experiences.
She did a strange movement Pinkie performed too fast for him to reproduce. She had jumped on the bed, served up two plates of cake and launched the remainder of her equipment on the foot end of her bed. All within two seconds. She was laying teasingly on her belly with her hooves on her cheeks.
‘Cake is ready,’ she said blushing.
‘Sit down.’
That he did. Jack removed his army brown boots from his tired feet and placed them besides her bed. He placed himself with his back towards her so he would not make a mess of her property while eating. Now that he, since a long while felt a proper bed beneath him, something struck him. He hadn’t slept for more than a day. He was tired, tired of all the surprises and strange things this world and its people threw at him almost all of the time. He just wanted to lay down on this pink ponies bed and sleep for as long as she would allow him. But he knew he couldn’t do that. He knew he couldn’t just make himself at home. He wasn’t home, although it sure felt like it.
‘Thank you Pinkie,’ he said.
He took a bite and was pleasantly surprised with the taste of it. Very sweet but just within acceptable limits. She was good at what she did here. Pinkie, while eating her own creation with delight, saw Jack’s tired eyes and sensed his heavy breathing. His sweaty smell really began to foul the air now that he was sitting still in a small room. He was just all round dirty. But she didn’t mind that, it showed he had worked hard. He deserved the rest.
She hugged him from behind, putting her two legs on the front of her body over his shoulders. There was something romantic about it. Jack didn’t want to mention it as it somehow didn’t mind him. He was happy she did that.
‘You’re tired… aren’t you?,’ she whispered in her ear.
Jack nodded
‘Then you may sleep here,’ she whispered back.
‘Besides me.’
‘Are you sure? Do I really have your permission?’
‘Oooh yes you do…’
She quickly collected all her plates and trays from the bed and launched them on her desk. Then she pushed him back with the intention of getting him to lay down. His head hit the pink cushion and his back got slightly massaged by the mattress beneath him. He’d never felt this good in a strangers bed. But he appreciated it. Pinkie sure didn’t skimp on things. She was taking care of him. Maybe even more than he normally liked. He closed his eyes and could feel the blanket falling over him. She’d tucked him in. Put him to bed like a child. But he didn’t mind. He only cared about his dreams and nightmares now.
‘Will you talk me to sleep? Tell me what you think of me?,’ she whispered in his ears.
There was no answer. Just a long, deep breath.
‘Just.. Just return the favour for me tomorrow. Ok…,’ she said with a sad tone.
Then he fell asleep. Gone into the endless void…
Many hours after midnight had passed, Pinkie tried to sleep like any other pony would around this time, but she couldn’t. Even now when she had someone besides her for “comfort” she couldn’t. For so long she had been alone. Alone in this bakery with no one to talk to but cake and candy and empty rooms. Whenever the two owners of the store retired for home she got left behind in that store. No one came to visit her there at night. Even though she had many friends. She’d hoped the stranger, Jack, would have woken up to talk to her and release her from her torment that had she had been receiving for months… But he hadn’t… Instead of communing with he’d collapsed as soon as he found a bed. She offered him that hospitality but had apparently been misguided in her thoughts that he would repay her. And now that she reflected on it, Pinkie saw her errors in that thought.
She just sat there crying silently trying not to wake the man she so desperately wanted to wake up. Tears falling on her bed sheet disappeared so that no one would find out about her sadness. She looked at the cupboard beside her. What lay within there was so easy to just cling on to, like she had done to remedy her current situation. Her frustrations… She’d hoped her new companion would take that place and she had thought that was the whole reason Twilight brought him to her. To accompany her, not the other way around… But again. Now she saw the errors of that…
She wasn’t even sure if she should do to him what she wanted to do. They weren’t the same species, they just met and everything about it would be unethical. But at this point she didn’t care about any of that anymore. She couldn’t resist the temptation of her cupboard any longer, and since her situation had not changed like she thought it would, she didn’t see a reason not to fall back in her old habits. She pulled the pink piece of furniture open as silent as she could and grabbed the pink, stick-like object that had been one of her best friend during her lonely nights and fell on her back. She reckoned since Jack couldn’t hear her tears, he wouldn’t hear this either. A loud click blasted though the room and a soft buzzing followed. She moaned, began to sweat and tossed and turned while she cured her nightly sickness.
Pinkie didn’t care anymore. She just wanted someone to love her body like they loved her humour…
Chickens screamed for attention as morning started. Sun shifted duties with moon again, and the cycle of days had begun again as it always had and still would for countless of years. Jack almost forgot he was in another place. But it felt just like home and that was enough for him.
He opened his eyes and saw his pink caretaker still asleep. Snoring, breathing softly like any girl would. Now he saw the other side of her emotions, calm and collected but still a joy to watch. He didn’t know which version he like more now. The hyper one, or the calm. A little green crocodile walked over her back, he figured it was her pet, a strange choice he thought. But then again, she had been strange too. Jack could hear the door on the first floor opening, the front door. Pinkie’s employers. Had to be them.
He jumped out of bed, prepared himself for his meeting and proceeded into the hallway on the second floor, but not before tucking Pinkie in once again, as a repayment for her acceptance of him. He looked at her and smiled. Wanting, deep down, to plant a kiss on her cheek but refusing due to the strangeness of it. He confused himself but lost that thought relatively quickly. The door silently went open and the stranger in the bakery went downstairs to confront the owners of his presence in their store. He could hear them talk, discussing something that would probably be some matter concerning him.
‘Good morning,’ Jack said weary of him being unfamiliar while walking down the stairs. He paced his movements so that he didn’t do unexpected things that might scare the two ponies that stood in the middle of the store.
‘So… You’re our guest here huh? Our new employee?,’ the male pony said.
‘Yes. Did princess Twilight inform you?’
‘Came by this morning,’ the female pony stated.
‘She gave us a… A loose description. But you still look somewhat strange to us even though you are exactly as she told you were like.’
‘I hear that a lot the days,’ he replied.
‘I uhm… I don’t mean to harm you in any way. I’m just here to help as best as I can. I hope you can appreciate that.’
‘That we find you strange doesn’t mean we disprove of your employment here for the time being,’ the male pony said.
‘In fact. Princess Twilight asked us to take some days of. Leave the store to you and Pinkie, who is still asleep I reckon.’
‘She is still asleep. And I reckon you didn’t deny that request did you?,’ Jack said while crossing his arms.
‘No we didn’t. And not just for our own benefit. You see… We want you to be with pinkie for a while. Alone with her we mean’
That answer got Jack off his guard. Twilight’s motive for placing him here and coupling him with Pinkie seemed to have a lot more forethought than she had showed. This wasn’t just about him or about the people of Ponyville anymore. This was about Pinkie now. Something he had been suspecting since last night during Pinkie’ “escapades.”
‘You want me to stay with Pinkie for a while?,’ he replied sounding curious.
‘Why? Why let us two run the store?’
‘Well… Just don’t tell her this all right,’ the female pony said.
‘Pinkie is very lonely here at night, at least that’s what we think.’
‘We have never seen another pony come to her place after the store closes,’ the male pony continued.
‘No one ever comes to visit her like they visit the other ponies.’
‘So she wants attention?,’ Jack said trying to sum all of it up.
‘She wants attention and I’m going to give it to her, basically. Not talking bad about it of course,’ he corrected quickly before sounding like a jerk.
‘No! Please! I isn’t how it sounds,’ the female pony too corrected quickly, ‘Only if you feel like it. We wouldn’t want to force you into doing something against your will.’
‘It’s just something to think about really. We just want her to be happy, and I think the princess has the same intent as we do.’
‘You sound like her parents you know? Mom and dad wanting the best for their daughter.’
The pair blushed a little. Not quite sure if they were ashamed or flattered.
‘We… We just want the best for her. In all her time here she’s been a joy to work with, and to see her wither away in this building. It just breaks our heart,’ the male pony replied.
‘Our employees deserve the best of the best. And not just on the work floor. We hope you understand… But we would accept your decision if you didn’t want to get involved in any of this.’
Jack thought about their proposition and reflected on his behaviour last night. He realised he hadn’t really talked to her. He just went to sleep when he had found a bed to lay down on. And even then she had treated him well. He felt ashamed of himself, and wanted to make up for his errors, even though he was afraid were this was all going. He’d made up his mind.
‘I’ll see what I can do with her,’ was his answer.
‘Wonderful. We couldn’t thank you enough for your help,’ the male pony said.
‘I think Pinkie couldn’t thank you enough,’ the female pony corrected.
‘She’s the one in need right now. And we are grateful for you fulfilling those needs.’
‘It’s nothing, really. I’m just glad some of the folk here talk to me.’
Silence filled the room after the loaded conversation that took place there. Something creaked above him, and Jack could have sworn he saw something pink appear and vanish again within a second. She’d be eavesdropping on them, but the two ponies before him seemed not to have noticed or ignored it. Didn’t really matter which it was. But his day with Pinkie would certainly be more awkward now she had expectations of him. Now she was just waiting for Jack to make his move towards her, but he didn’t mind that feeling. It excited him in a strange way.
‘Open up as we leave and close early,’ the male pony said.
‘And if you really feel the need to take a day off together. Our customers would understand.’
‘How would they understand a closed door?,’ Jack asked.
‘Let’s just call it an investment. To increase employer effectiveness.’
Jack could agree to that. The keys were his and as the two groups said goodbye to each other Pinkie walked down the stairs, now her normal hyper self. The pink storm had taken him by surprise again. But he never had the intention of hiding from it.
‘We have the store to ourselves,’ he said somewhat nervous. He had a feeling where this was all going.
‘Sounds exciting,’ she yelled in between her jumps and twists.
‘You’ll have to learn me how to bake here,’ he said trying to snap her out of her madness.
‘Nope. You just take orders and I’ll prepare them. That’s how we roll today.’
Jack couldn’t agree more. At least the responsibility of good products wasn’t with him anymore. He just had to greet the people of Ponyville as they would come in for their order. Just like Twilight had wanted it.
However, customers were few. And the weather was getting worse by the minute. Thunder boomed in the dark sky and rain soaked the village and its people. There were some that came by. Placing an order and leaving as soon as they could. Jack didn’t have the illusion this wasn’t because of him. But around late-afternoon, just before they wanted to close, Ponyville proved itself not so reluctant to meet other species. A white unicorn walked through the door as bell rang to signal Jack and Pinkie. She was female, with dark blue hair soaked from the rain outside. Her beauty almost tipped that of princess Celestia he thought.
‘Ugh. Rainbow Dash has been taking a day of I reckon,’ she said slightly irritated as she approached the counter.
‘Rarity!,’ Pinkie screamed from behind him.
‘Rarity! Rarity! Rarity!’
‘Calm down Pinkie. No need to scream,’ she said with a soft and collected voice. Pinkie stopped jumping, just as she had requested. Then she put her mystic gaze on Jack who was simply enthralled by her appearance.
‘So you’re our new villager?,’ she asked him, snapping him out of his trance.
‘Yes. You were with the crowd last evening?’
‘No. Just a friend of our beloved princess Twilight. Just as Pinkie there. Hello there dear,’ she added, ‘Your name was Jack, right?’
‘It is. Twilight?’
Rarity nodded as an answer.
‘She told me a whole lot about you this morning. A lot of it good, the rest perfect.’
‘Well… I just try…’
‘Pinkie dear, could Jack and I have a little lady to man talk?,’ She asked interrupting with a begging undertone.
‘Sure. Have at it,’ then she walked out of the room, going downstairs. Jack didn’t expect it to go so easily since her escapades yesterday, when she seemed so affectionate to him. Then the two where alone.
‘She seems to have a fancy for you,’ Rarity continued.
‘To talk so rose-coloured about someone she just met, nothing like her. She has something for you going Jack, I could see it in her eyes.’
‘Oh really…’
‘What’s the matter? You seem troubled by it. Not happy with some pony love?’
Jack couldn’t keep the smile he had just for himself and shared it with her. He laughed but shook his head.
‘No, that’s not it. It’s just…’
‘I know, species trouble. You just arrived here and probably want to get back as soon as possible. But, take my advice for what it is, enjoy the attention. Especially from her.’
‘Well I think someone else is on the prowl for attention,’ Jack said pointing his thump at the door of the cellar behind him.
‘Aah, so Pinkie too huh. You seem to have some appeal here,’ Rarity said smiling.
‘And what do you think? Preference between the two?’
‘Wait. You just want to know who I fancy more? With you being her friend?’
‘If at all possible. Just a friend’s curiosity.’
‘Well… I don’t know if I should feel anything really. I mean. They’re… Horses and I’m something else.’
‘Species trouble, I know. But what do you feel?’
‘Well if that’s the question. Then Twilight, but Pinkie seems alone and in more need than her right now.’
‘So, you don’t know and like them both equally?’
‘In a nutshell, yes…’
Rarity was thinking, thinking about possible couples between the stranger and her friends. All of it seemed uncomfortable for Jack.
‘You know what. Here’s what I would do.’
‘And that is?’
‘Just explore both.’
‘Both? At the same time? Isn’t that like, cheating?’
‘You really think friends as close as Pinkie and Twilight would want each other to miss some good meat?’
‘Good meat?’
‘Oh you know full well what it’s going to come down to eventually. No need to hide it then.’
‘But how do you know I have…’
‘Feminine intuition,’ she said smiling.
‘I just presumed the story of bees and birds had to transcend ponies and, oh I don’t know, most other animals and creatures that live here. I just figured you had one too.’
‘Seems you ponies have a different idea of relationships.’
‘And is that a good or bad thing? That only your final partner matters in the end.’
Jack couldn’t answer that. Switching from one set of ethics to another in less than a week unfortunately wasn’t at all possible.
‘Well, back to topic. What can I do for you?,’ Jack asked coming to the point.
‘No room to talk?’
‘What’s there to talk about?’
‘Well, I don’t know,’ she said sarcastically.
‘You could tell me why so many ponies are scared of you. And why I am not. And Pinkie and Twilight?’
‘I don’t know. Why aren’t you sceptical of me? Running away?,’ he asked in return.
‘Well, I can’t speak for everyone here. But I trust princess Twilight. And when she trusts you, I trust you. But then again, I have always been a supporter of different species mixed within our community. It keeps things… Fresh.’
‘Well thank you, for not running from me. And you for your advice,’ he said smiling.
‘No need to thank me. In fact, since I’m here: I own the local tailoring store and those clothes you’re wearing, well they are quite… Smelly,’ she said while waving his foul stench away with one of her hooves.
‘If you two would agree and take on my request, I could make you some new clothes. Even give your face a trim.’
Jack touched his chin and felt the wild growth he wasn’t able to control.
‘Yes that I mean. Your facial hear is, not to offend you, a tat out of control. Don’t you agree?’
‘I guess so.’
The trapdoor leading to the cellar opened again. Pinkie emerged from downstairs with a linen basket on her back full of supplies previously stored downstairs.
‘Oh hi there Pinkie,’ Rarity said.
‘We just finished our, well, little interspecies discussion. Right Jack?’
‘Totally.’
‘Got some surprise for me?,’ Pinkie asked while launching her basket on her workspace.
‘Maybe Jack will in the future,’ Jack blushed a little hearing her say that. Rarity smiled at his reaction. Like a boy afraid to look his crush in the eyes and talk to her at the same time.
‘But, what is this request you spoke about Rarity?,’ Jack said wrestling his way out of the conversation.
‘I came here to order something special. Something I was wondering you could deliver to me tomorrow.’
‘But what is it?,’ Pinkie said loudly from back.
‘That’s up to you two lovebirds. I want you to make the best you got in here. That means I trust your taste in sweets Pinkie dear.’
Pinkie got really excited hearing the words trust and you.
‘Don’t worry. I’ll get you the best of the best, free of charge!’
‘Oh no certainly not Pinkie. my help to little Jack here would serve as payment I reckon.’
‘And you want them delivered?,’ Jack asked.
‘Preferably by Pinkie if at all possible. But certainly, I want them delivered by you,’ Rarity said with a deep voice, almost with a lusting tone, ‘to continue our “discussion.”
Jack looked at Pinkie and she nodded, meaning they could.
‘We will. Both of us at that,’ Jack confirmed.
‘Wonderful. Then I will see you at dinner tomorrow evening.’
‘So now we have dinner with you huh?,’ Jack asked.
‘Only if you have time. But I would certainly enjoy that.’
‘We’ll be there,’ Pinkie said.
‘Wouldn’t want to miss it.’
‘Good. Well then. Good luck you two. And you have fun with him to tonight,’ Rarity aimed at Pinkie. Then she walked out. The bell rang again and rain stormed through the door for a couple of seconds. Then, it was gone again. Both stood blushing at Rarity’s comment, and both pretended not to know what she meant.
