He climbed out of his bed and stretched, yawning as he did. He grabbed his gear and put it all back on, heading to the exit of the car. Shattered and Majik were already waiting for him." Well, we're here." Majik said as he looked around. Soul nodded and lead the group up the road to the center of Canterlot." I haven't been here since ten years ago, it's changed a lot." Soul said." let stop and get something to eat, that train food wasn't the best." Shattered said. Soul and Majik nodded in agreement and started to look for a restaurant. Lucky one was down the block from them. As they made their way over, Soul started to wonder, why did the princesses need the three of them to go and find this threat and defeat it. Couldn't the elements do that. After all, they had traveled to other places beyond Equestria already, why was it different now? The though exited his head as he smelled the food. He went over and order food for the three of them, then they sat down at a table and waited for it to be ready. After stuffing themselves to the brim with food, the three continued onward to the castle. Soul looked up at the large building on the side of the mountain. He had never been this close to it before." Wow, it's amazing!" he said. They entered the front gates and made their way through the garden towards the main doors of the castle. Inside, the halls of the castle shined bright, and banners and carpet of bright colors covered them. Soul lead his group to the throne room, where Celestia and Luna waited on their thrones." Welcome," Celestia said." We have much to talk about." //-------------------------------------------------------// The Journey //-------------------------------------------------------// The Journey Soulstone woke as the sun shined on his eyes through the open blinds on his window. The grey stallion climbed out of his bed and mad his way down the stairs to his kitchen where he started to make some hay bacon and pancakes. He hummed to his self as they cooked when a knock sound from his door. He made sure his food was finished before turning it off and going to the door. At the door was a Canterlot guard, holding a letter in his hoof." Princess Celestia and Princess Luna told me to bring you this letter sir, they said to read it as soon as I give it to you." Soulstone smiled and nodded, taking the letter and going back into his house was the guard left. He opened the letter and read what was inside. The letter read as followed, " Dear Mister Soulstone, Me and my sister Luna wish for you to come to the castle as soon as you can. We understand you have knowledge of some foreign lands near Equestria and wish for you to lead a party to find who ever has decided to declare war on our nation. We entrust you and the other two ponies we re sending with you will succeed  Sincerely, Princess Celestia. Soul quickly ate his food then went up stairs to pack his saddle bags, grabbing some of his maps, his compass, and so on. He also grabbed his sword and travel gear before setting off to the train station that would take him to Canterlot. Once he got there he ran into his two old friends, Majik and Shattered Moon, both of which where tall, large unicorns that Soul has known since her had arrived here in Equestria. They both were dressed up in travel gear, as well as carrying their own weapons and saddle bags." So I see your the third member of the party." Shattered said in his heavy, Northern accent." I guess so." Soul said as the train pulled up to the station. The conductor got off and Shattered showed him a letter of some sorts. He nodded and took them to the back of the of the train, opening a large door to one of the cars. All three friends got in and noticed it was empty. This must have been an upper class car or private car. The three put their bags down and went to their seats.
