Prompt: A minor protagonist and a major villain break up.

Discord was not one to admit his mistakes, and he definitely wasn’t one to apologize in the rare occurrence that he did realize his fault in the matter.

But right now, he knew he would have apologized a thousand times over just to get her back.

FIVE HOURS AGO

“Oh, Fluttershy.”, he said, chuckling. “You know you love me, you’ll get over it- as always- and then we can have some **cough*** fun.”, he said with a smirk. “Anyways, it’s really not even that big of a deal.”*

“I’m sorry Discord, but I have to put my hoof down on this one. This was important to me, and you didn’t even bother to show up!”, Fluttershy whimpered the last part, obviously on the verge of tears.

“B-but- Fluttershy! I really wanted to go to your- uh- the...um-animal… thing, but-hehe- you see, I-”

“Enough! You’re only making it worse for yourself! I’ve only been talking about this for- what? Four weeks? *Five? I was counting on you, and you let me down. This is the *last time*! Do you even KNOW what it is that was so important to me? Did you CARE enough to listen? Even once?”, Fluttershy seethed, tears now openly flowing down her cheeks.*

Discord, surprised by the yellow pony’s outburst, had to re-gather his thoughts in order to respond. “I- I know, Fluttershy, you’re right- and I’m sorry- it won’t happen again. H-here! Let me make it up to you!” Discord snapped his fingers and Fluttershy found herself on a picnic blanket, in the middle of her backyard, which had been transformed into the most beautiful meadow imaginable… Well, except for the fact that the flowers were carnivorous, one of which had just eaten Angel the Bunny, and the trees were engulfed in purple flames.

“Discord! I asked you a question, do *not change the subject.”, Fluttershy ordered sternly.                                                                                                                                                                                                    .                             “Do you know what event took place tonight?”, She asked- seeming almost hopeful.*

“Well- *of course I know, you were at the- I mean how could I not know? You’ve been so excited for the- uh-", he sighed in defeat, "No. I’m sorry Fluttershy, I don’t know.”*

Fluttershy’s eyes were downcast, her ears drooped, half her face was hidden behind her mane. And Discord could barely make out a heartbroken, “Just leave.”
