The Adventures of Domino Streak: The Fall of The Alicorns
Hello, I am Hide And Seek. This is my first story, in FiMfiction.net. I just want to say, this story follows the life of Domino Streak through her diary, and her experiences.
Dear Diary,
Things were not all the more peaceful after Queen Chrysalis nearly destroyed Canterlot. In fact, the events became worse and worse. Everywhere around me, uprisings against the Alicorns had started. Ponies have begun bucking the walls of the Palace, demanding the Princesses give up their throne. I guess everypony’s just tired of Princess Celestia ruling, they’re saying she’s become too weak to handle her job. I don’t understand how this adds up though. Something must have happened.

A few days ago.
Dear Diary,
My name is Domino Streaks, today I just got this diary, and thought of sharing my thoughts with you. I am so excited today because I got invited to this awesome wedding at the Palace, and I’ll finally get to meet Princess Celestia!!! Squee!!! You can call me a somewhat double life pony, I guess. My friends describe me as a courageous and sometimes shy pony. They love the way my mane and tail is equally streaked with black and white, but I don’t like to brag so I’ll stop talking with this now. So…where to get started? Oh! I live in Manehattan, the best place for anypony to live in. My parents who moved away a few years back, always told me to look after my older brother, Tragedy.
Oh, Tragedy what a pain he is. I love him, he’s a brother and all, but, ever since he’s been getting ideas. He hasn’t been right in the head. He’s been saying things about the Alicorn’s rule being unfair, and that how every pony should get the right to have power. All ponies should have power and have the right to choose who their leader is.
Princess Celestia does a good job here. Monarchy is fine with me as long as we have a good ruler, but a thing that struck me was what if? What if Princess Celestia was ill. And she couldn’t rule for a really, really, loooong time?? What if the next ruler would be bad?

Domino Streaks
A few days after the wedding….
Domino Streaks shut her diary, she stuffed it in her saddle pocket and looked out the window. Worry struck her instantly. All over, ponies huddled over fires in dark, filth ridden alleys. Ponies draped in dark cloaks with an Equestria Flag symbol on it roamed the streets knocking on some pony’s door, if the pony didn’t answer the cloaked figure would ram through the door. Or set it on fire with magic if they were a Unicorn. In the flag though, instead of the Alicorns circling, there were Pegasi, Earth Ponies, and Unicorns hand in hand banishing the Alicorns into a dark hole in the center of the symbol.
Domino heard a rasping on her door. She quickly glanced at the figure through the window. It was a colt. The colt wore the same cloak, but the color was different. It was red. The colt was a unicorn. His coat was a brilliant blue, his mane a streak of red and black. It was her brother, Tragedy. He was probably here to kill her too. Like all the other Alicorn supporters. Domino heard her brother’s snakelike voice, “Oh sister.”
Domino ran to the door, blocking it with all the furniture she had. The door opened, her brother looking at Domino with a murderous look. “Domino I just want to play.” Tragedy blasted the door with a brilliant red light, obliterating it. Domino broke into a dash as she headed up the stairs. There was no way out…except…for the window. Domino looked at her hooves uneasy. Her brother was almost through the door. She had to get out. She had only seen a dive through a window in the cinema. When Daring Do performed it perfectly, she was captivated. Domino looked at the window, backed up to the opposite wall, and ran. She dove closing her eyes, as she smashed through the window. She felt her head get lighter. Her head stung from the impact. Domino looked around, the streets, the dark clouds that loomed over her, the ponies hidden in the sewer, the tight alleys. Where was she?
Manehattan was unrecognizable. Domino shook the thought out of her mind. Her vision was cloudy, but she could recognize the extremists that looked at her. Tragedy was yelling something inaudible to Domino, who already broke into a dash. Behind her, Extremist Unicorns launched beams of magic in her direction. Domino turned a corner, wrapping her right hoof around a lamp post, she flung herself up into the air. Landing on the roof of a two story building, she allowed herself a breath. The Unicorns turned to look at Domino who blew raspberries at the two. They shot a mischievous look at Domino. The two unicorns suddenly disappeared and reappeared on each of Domino’s side. Domino ducked as the unicorns again performed another spell. They froze each other as they did so. Domino ran to the other edge of the building jumping to another. All of a sudden, a squadron of pegasi swooped down at her from the sky. They wore the same symbol of the extremists on a tight flight suit. Domino ducked as a green Pegasus swooped down to abduct her. Domino knew exactly knew where the Pegasus was heading, She turned flank facing the Pegasus and as he swooped down, shot her legs up in a strong kick. The Pegasus fell colliding with the frozen ice sculpture unicorns.
"What does brother want with me?" Domino thought to herself. "If he's sending these ponies after me, I most have something he wants. But what?"
Knowing the Pegasi would not stop until Domino was captured, Domino jumped off to the building and into a dark alley. She checked her sides if any pony was to sneak up on her. No pony was in sight. The Pegasi, had given up on their search. The civil war of Equestria had started.
Domino sneaked silently to a dumpster, her hooves curving in tiptoe fashion to avoid any loud noises. The Earth Pony slowly opened it to find that nopony even garbage was in it. Domino jumped in and slowly closed the lid. She lit a lantern and opened her diary. She retrieved her pencil clamped it in her mouth and started to write, struggling with it as she did not have the magic to write.
Dear Diary,
Today, war has just started, the fighting side of the Alicorn Supporters seem to be doing their best to fend off the Extremists, whom I found out my brother is part of. I still don’t know what his position is though in the group, but I’m sure it’s pretty high since he’s wearing a different cloak than all the others. Well, right now I’m in a dumpster fighting for my life in Manehattan. All I need is a way out of here. I don’t want to be stuck when they start the slaughter of innocent lives.

Domino Streak
As she finished writing, Domino closed the book tight as she heard a blood curdling scream. Then a plop of a light coat hitting the gravel of the Manehattan sidewalk. Domino, heard another voice, a stallion. "No, no, please, release her, take me instead!"
Domino heard another pony, a mare, laugh evilly. Then, another scream deeper...the stallion fell with a heavy thud. Domino peered from a gap in the garbage bin. The mare, like all the others wore the same cloak. Domino looked as the mare spat at the fallen bodies of the stallion and the small filly next to the dead stallion. "You Alicorn supporters deserve to die.
Domino looked as the mare walked away. She could feel tears pour down her eyes, as she looked at the two ponies who lay dead on the streets. She wished she could save them, but, she couldn't take on everypony.
"I'm...sorry....," Domino whispered to the ponies. She plopped down to her previous position, crying. She couldn't sleep that night.
