Chapters Thunder and Jolt: Friends to The End
A pony sat on his couch with a sigh.
"Man, what a day I have ready for," This pony said, rubbing his tired eyes in complete boredom.
This ponies name is Thunder. He is a pony with some secrets from his life, and lives all alone. His parents left him here when he was 15 years old, and he never saw them again.
He's 20 years old, and he wore a white hat on the bridge of his hair. His hair was a mixture of brown and green. Thunder also wore glasses because his vision was horrifying and he could barely see anything without them on. His body was fit and pretty muscular. He wasn't like the idiotic jock ponies from high school who bully ponies cause of their strength. He is on the line of being not fat and being ready to show his fat. He had a little stubble growing on his chin, but he had sideburns for days that were brown around his whole cheeks. He wore some jeans but not a shirt, since there's no point in wearing one with how they are all ponies anyways.
His brown tail was wiggling about, trying to move and get free from it's little prison. When it did, it came out and shined in glory of it's freedom to wag about with nothing in it's way.
Thunder took his glasses off and rubbed his brown eyes once again to get them open and awake.
After that, he rubbed his chin and thought about what he needed to do today.
"I wonder what I need to do today?" He crossed his legs in a habit and tried remembering what he needed to do today.
"Well....let's see. I brushed my teeth, took a shower, woke up in the morning, cleaned the house, made the floor better, washed my face, put my deodorant on and...." He trailed off with a light blush.
"Did my business....."He said to himself quietly.
He shook his head and looked at his clock.
"It's....12 PM? Wow. Didn't I wake up at like 8?" Thunder asked himself in confusion and awe.
Thunder shrugged.
"I'm gonna go to the store. I think I need to get some stuff and I don't want to be stuck in this house," Thunder exclaimed, standing up.
Thunder left his home, making sure to lock it on the way out and adjusted his wings to make sure they didn't get stuck in the door. Again.
He doesn't usually fly unless it's something important, so he just decided to take a jog and walk to the store.
So he came up to the most stupidest store ever, but since it's the only place in Ponyville. He decided to go there.
To......'Ponymart' (The pun is bad with this one.)
Thunder always shakes his head in disgust at seeing this store and name.
"Why does this place exist?" He muttered to himself in anger.
He saw a lot of other ponies walking in, and hated the fact of still getting the short stick.
You see, everypony here in Equestria are over 8 ft tall. But Thunder? Not him. Somehow, his genes weren't able to make him that tall. He was only able to get up to being 6 ft tall before being done.
He rolled his eyes in annoyance.
"Why do I get the short stick but everypony else don't?" He asked himself, getting tired of this.
Thunder stopped thinking about it, and went inside to go get his stuff that he needed.
"This height thing is still gonna get on my nerves," He added quietly, hating the fact that he always heard snickering or giggling whenever he went anywhere.
He muttered profanity throughout the time he was in the store. Before he left though, he bumped into some pony and fell onto the floor.
"Ouch! Hey! Why don't you watch where you going?!" Some scratchy voice said in annoyance.
"I wasn't the one that ran into you! You ran into me!" Thunder replied back, looking at this pony.
To now know that it wasn't a pony. It wasn't a pony at all. He widened his eyes to see a purple dragon that was his height! Somepony that he could relate to? Hay yeah! This purple dragon widened his eyes as well when he saw Thunder.
"Woah! A pony my height?! I thought I'd never see the day!" This dragon exclaimed with a smile.
Thunder blinked and asked, "Who are you?" Politely.
"My name is Spike! It's nice to meet you!" Spike said, holding his clawed hand out.
"Sorry for bumping into you earlier. I was thinking about some stuff," Spike apologized, rubbing his hair in regret.
"It's okay. I forgive you," Thunder said.
Thunder rose his eyebrows at what Spike said.
"Some stuff? What stuff?" He asked him nicely, pretty curious about what he meant.
"Some stuff Twilight wants me to do," Spike sighed tiredly.
"Twilight? Who's that?" Thunder asked curiously.
"Oh! That's the princess of Magic! She's a friend of mine, and she wanted me to come here to get some important ingredients," Spike explained tiredly.
"Really? That's.......weird," Thunder replied, wondering why Spike came by himself with no help.
"Why did nopony come help you?" Thunder asked, raising his eyebrows inquisitively.
"Because all her friends are doing something important and she said that I need to get out more," Spike replied, rolling his green eyes annoyingly.
"Well that kinda makes sense. Need to come out of the house for some fresh air every now and then!" Thunder exclaimed, smiling.
Spike nodded.
Then....awkward silence.
Spike and Thunder looked everywhere but each other for a few seconds, and then Thunder asked Spike something important.
"Want me to help you get those ingredients?"
Spike smiled and replied, 'Of course!"
And that started a great friendship between Spike and Thunder. They started doing a lot of things together. Doing pranks, making jokes, playing games and everything. Thunder got to meet Spike's other friends named the CMC or Cutie Mark Crusaders.
He got to know who they were in separate order, even though they were all trying to hold their excitement in for another friend.
He got to meet Sweetie Belle, Scootaloo, and Applebloom all in single order. Even though they were having a hard time trying to stop talking so fast that Thunder can't understand them.
He learnt that Sweetie Belle was Rarity's sister, and she told Thunder that Spike had a huge crush on Rarity. He knew how obvious it was when Spike talked about her.
He notices hearts showing up in his eyes and how his voice goes into some dreamy state when Spike talks about her.
Thunder rolled his eyes at this obvious thing, but decided to keep it a secret since Spike thinks nopony knows about his crush.
Scootaloo, a friend of Sweetie Belle and Applebloom had little wings and purple hair. She was pretty cute and adorable. But she was trying to hard to be like a tomboy and be brave and smug about some things that she talked about.
Thunder just teases her about it and she turns into an adorable mess of shyness.
Applebloom, unlike the others was the most interesting to Thunder.
She had a country accent, and a cute little bow-tie on her head, and golden yellow eyes. She just looked so.....adorable! Thunder wanted to hug her and everything. But he didn't want to seem weird to her, so he tried holding back his dawness and introduced himself to the CMC.
When he learnt about Applebloom having a sister, he wondered how amazing she could be from how Applebloom was like to him. For one, he has never met such nice mares in his life. He never got to know how his mom was like, she always worked and would always leave before Thunder even got to say hi to her.
Thunder was getting used to his new things in life, but what he wasn't expecting was Spike to come over to his house one day and ask him a question that would change his life forever.
Around 4 months later......
Thunder was on his couch once again, but this time he was snoring off, not caring about the outside world.
Then he heard knocking at his door and he bolted up.
"What?! Who?! Where?! Oh, it's just the door," He said, almost freaking out. In fact, he freaked out so much his wings stiffened and he almost fell on the floor in shock.
He walked up to the door, when he wings were down, and opened it to see an unsure looking Spike at his doorstep,
Thunder smiled.
"Sup Spike? What are you doing here of all places?" He asked curiously, raising his eyebrows in a curious manner.
In Thunder's eyes, Spike gulped and grew a worried gaze on his face.
"My friend Twilight asked me to come and get you. She wants to meet you and her other friends are curious about you as well," Spike explained worryingly.
"Your friends want to meet me?" Thunder asked, confused.
Spike nodded and whispered something that Thunder didn't hear "The Princesses want to meet you as well....".
Thunder shrugged.
"Eh. I have nothing better to do. Why not?" He said, walking out and shutting his door. With his wing getting stuck. His eyes widened.
They were still stiff..... He thought to himself in annoyance.
Some silence grew.
Then....."AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! BUCK! MY WING! AGAIN!" Thunder yelled in pain.
"This is a good sign of things to come I see," Spike muttered to himself sarcastically with a wince.
Thunder and Jolt: Friends to The End
"Why do Twilight and your friends want to meet me for anyways?" Thunder asked curiously.
"They're saying that your a bad influence on me," Spike replied bluntly.
Thunder blinked.
"Dragon say what now?" Thunder asked in anger.
"I said they think your a bad influence on me," Spike said bitterly, getting mad.
Thunder face-hooved.
"Of all the...." Thunder mumbled.
"It's just Twilight who doesn't trust you! The others are curious about you and the Princess wants to meet you as well!" Spike shut his mouth quickly.
Thunder made a blunt stare.
"Who?" He asked, mind-numbingly.
"The Princess," Spike replied, wincing at Thunder's shocked expression.
Thunder nodded slowly.
Then, he walked with the silent Spike to the Library that Spike never brought him to ever.
Spike knocked on the door and Thunder groaned.
"I'm so dead," He said sadly.
Spike smiled at him sadly.
"Don't worry! They are all nice ponies! They won't hurt you!" He said, trying to make Thunder feel better.
Thunder sighed and nodded.
Spike opened the door when a voice was heard saying, "It's open. Come on in."
Spike slowly opened the door, making Thunder more tense then he should.
Thunder saw the girls, and almost froze in fear at the stern glare the tall white one was giving him.
"Thunder. Meet the Mane six and the Princesses of Equestria!" Spike said, smiling worryingly.
He walked up to the tall purple one who had a curious gaze on him.
Thunder was frozen in fear at the glares he was getting from the tall dark blue one and the tall white one that were standing right beside her.
He gulped, and tried getting a word out. Only to breath out a squeak and blush embarrassingly.
"Your Spike's friend are you?" The purple one asked curiously.
The other girls then put their attention on you as well.
Thunder flinched and nodded curtly.
"Well....we've been wanting to talk to you for a while. Ever since Spike has met you, he's been getting more........defensive to us," The purple one said, worried.
Thunder looks at Spike.
"Twilight," He whispered.
Thunder nodded.
"My name is Thunder......It's nice to meet you," He said, bowing respectfully.
"My name is Twilight Sparkle, and I have been wanting to meet you for a long time Thunder," She said seriously.
Thunder felt scared. He didn't know who the other ponies were, but thanks to his height difference he just can't stay calm.
"For what reason?" Thunder asked, his voice making squeaks.
"Well.....I am thinking that your a bad influence on my assistant and friend. He's been more......snarky and uncaring after he met you," Twilight explained sadly.
"Really? And why is that Twilight?" Thunder asked, in his tone of annoyance.
He felt the Princess glare on him more, and he shook in fear.
"I wanted to do some tests on you to see how you are with my friends and Spike while we are around. Is that okay?" Twilight asked curiously.
"She wants to test on me?" Thunder thought curiously.
"How so?" He asked, raising an eyebrow in confusion.
"I want to.....run test on you. Like, how nice you are, your personality, and how you are to new ponies you meet," She explained, bringing a notebook and pen out.
Spike groaned with a face-palm.
"I'll do it for Spike. But, I'm not going to enjoy this," Thunder exclaimed, unhappy that he is now a test subject not on his own will.
Twilight nodded.
"We will start with the first test. Fluttershy?" Twilight said, looking at the yellow girl inquisitively.
The yellow girl 'meeped' and walked up to Thunder shyly.
"This is Fluttershy. And your first test is niceness. Try and be nice to her and be patient of her answers to pass,' Twilight explained carefully.
Thunder nodded annoyingly.
"Hi there. My name is Thunder. Nice to meet you Fluttershy!" He said, with much enthusiasm and a smile.
Fluttershy 'epped!' and said, "Nice to meet you too." Very quietly and shy-like.
Thunder smiled.
Fluttershy grew a light blush on her cheeks.
Spike POV.
"This is so stupid and annoying! Why is Twilight so worried about me? I can handle myself fine! Spike thought to himself angrily.
"It's because she doesn't trust you like a whorse she is. She probably has ponies everywhere watching you, trying to make sure you don't do anything bad."
"But..Twilight is my friend! She would never do that!.....Would she?" Spike thought to himself worryingly.
The other voice didn't respond, it just laughed maniacally.
Spike gulped, "Be careful Thunder."
Thunder groaned.
"Why are you so shy Fluttershy? ......" Thunder asked, trailing off at how stupid that question was.
The girls snickered, while Fluttershy blushed.
"You passed the test Thunder. It's time for the next one!" Twilight exclaimed.
Flutter fluttered away slowly, making her look like an innocent butterfly in danger.
"Rarity! Your turn!" Twilight said.
The tall white one with purple hair walked up to Thunder in a refined manner.
"Hello there darling. My name is Rarity," She said, waving her hair and holding her hand out.
"Hate this bitch already." Thunder thought to himself.
He shook her hand, and Rarity grew a disgusted expression.
"Ew! Your hand is dirty! And your clothes are....completely horrifying!" Rarity said, being over-dramatic.
The others groaned.
"Can I punch her?" Thunder thought to himself in anger.
He noticed Spike had a in-love expression with hearts popping into his eyes. Thunder rolled his eyes annoyingly.
"I realllllyyy don't like this mare," Thunder said to himself, wanting to not even be near this girl anymore.
"Isn't she amazing~?" Spike thought in a dream-like state.
"No. She's a bucking bitch. I can relate to the guy that needs to talk to her. He doesn't even look like he wants to be around her as well."
Spike laughed to himself at Thunder's expression as well.
He looked like he wanted to kill himself when the test was done.
"That's pretty funny!" Spike thought.
"Yes it is.....and I am almost free as well,"
"What?" Spike asked curiously in his thoughts.
There was no response back, so Spike just shrugged.
Thunder groaned and almost felt ready to complain with how Rarity was like to him.
"I can't believe that the adorable Sweetie Belle is related to this bitch!" Thunder thought to himself, feeling ready to just face-palm and leave.
"All right Rarity! Test is done! It's time for him to do the final test for the day!" Twilight said, smiling.
"Don't forget about us Princess Twilight," The tall white mare said, smiling at her.
"Oh! Of course!" Twilight blushed in embarrassment.
"And when were done, you have to do Q&A with the princesses!" Twilight added, smiling.
Thunder blinked and said, "Just give me the next test already."
Twilight nodded.
"Applejack! Rainbow Dash! Your both up!" Twilight exclaimed, smiling with a giggle.
Then, an orange mare with a brown stetson hat walked up to Thunder, and a blue Peagsus flew up and stood right beside her.
"Nice to meet yah Thunder! The name's Applejack!" The orange one said, smiling at him.
Thunder nodded. "She is just as cute and adorable as her sister. Called it!" Thunder thought to himself, mentally high fiving himself.
"My name is Rainbow Dash! Fastest Pegasus in Equestria! And I'm awesome!" She said, doing a little flip in the air for an example.
Thunder nodded absentmindedly.
"You ready to do the endurance test~?" Applejack said, teasing Thunder.
Rainbow snickered.
Thunder grew a blush. Bucking tease she is......Oh well. This test shouldn't be too hard! .....Right? Thunder thought to himself in hope.
"Arm wrestling, push-ups, jumping jacks, running in place. Dang, that must not be fun." Spike thought to himself, wincing.
"I'm jealous. Have you noticed where all the mares are looking?"
Spike looked around to see all his friends looking at Thunder's abs and legs.
"Wow! These girls are deliberately doing this just to see how hot he is! That is so.....stupid!" Spike thought to himself in anger.
His other voice chuckled.
"Yes! Get angry! Get furious! Be jealous about the fact that Rarity is looking at him and not you!"
Spike looked at Twilight in anger, and the very next thing he'd do would be the last of him being in control of his body.
Thunder fell on the floor in complete tiredness.
"I am worn out. *Breathes* I just did *breathes* 50 push-ups, 70 jumping jacks, 30 push-ups, and ran about 3 miles in place! *breathes*" Thunder was completely worn out. He couldn't move or anything.
The other girls looked at him in awe and respect.
"Princess? Do you think you could do Q&A next time? I think he's too worn out to do anything," Twilight asked.
The Princess sighed and nodded.
"Oh! Before I forget, take this book. You'll need it in order to know how to be a Princess easier!" The Princess said to Twilight with a smile.
Twilight smiled.
"Thanks!" She said in appreciation.
The Princess nodded and left.
When she left, Applejack and Rainbow Dash walked up to Thunder.
"You need help up pardner?" Applejack asked, smirking at him.
He nodded.
"Sorry Pinkie. We are gonna have to do our test next time," Twilight said in regret.
"It's okay!" Pinkie said.
Thunder looked at Pinkie to see everything pink. A mare smiling down at him and everything.
"It's better if he is back in shape before trying my test anyways!" Pinkie said, giggling like a little girl.
Thunder groaned.
Twilight was about to open the book she got, till Spike took it out of her hands.
"Spike! Give that back this instant!" Twilight said, in complete shock at what he was doing.
Spike glared at her.
"No! Your being mean to my friend, and being way too over-protective of me Twilight! I have had it with you!" He said, getting mad.
Thunder felt tremors and felt the ground shake beneath him.
He smiled.
"It's finally kicking in it seems. The darkness inside Spike's heart will be free soon!" Thunder thought to himself in enjoyment.
Spike growled.
"Buck this!" He said.
His body was changing and he screamed in pain.
"The transformation is starting! Soon, Spike will die and the other host will take control of his new body!" Thunder thought to himself happily.
Spike's body was changing indeed. His spikes turned darker, his body turned darker, and he also grew a few inches as well! His green peacful eyes turned into read malice eyes.
The book in his hand was destroyed through the transformation.
"....Spike?" Twilight asked in complete fear, almost tearing up.
".....Who's Spike?" The darker form of Spike said with a smirk.
"My name isn't Spike! MY NAME IS JOLT! THE DARK DRAGON OF PURE EVIL!" Jolt screamed, laughing maniacally.
Thunder smiled.
"Oh, this life of mine is gonna get so much more interesting from this point on," Thunder remarked to himself, laughing on the inside of his body.
Thunder and Jolt: Friends to The End
Jolt stopped laughing and smirked at Twilight.
"Spike is no longer available. He just died and went into dust into my body! I'M FINALLY FREE!" Jolt exclaimed, laughing non-stop.
Twilight started crying and glared at him.
"How dare you! I'll get vengeance for him if it's the last thing I do!" Twilight said, promising to destroy Jolt.
Jolt rolled his eyes in annoyance.
"Good luck with that," He said, smirking.
Thunder noticed how he looked. He was so dark and black. He had dark green quills on his forehead, and with his arms crossed with that smug smirk on his face, he just looked so evil!
"He looks like a true dragon in real life at this moment," Thunder whispered to himself in awe and shock.
What annoyed him was the fact that he was still the shortest pony here, and he growled to himself.
"You stay there Thunder! We have to fight this guy by ourselves!" Rainbow said, flying up to Twilight.
"Yeah. Stay there sugarcube! We got this!" Applejack said, smirking.
All the girls stood together and Twilight smirked at Jolt.
"We are the elements of Harmony you evil dragon! You lost already!" Twilight said in triumph.
Jolt laughed.
"Go on. Amuse me," He said, smirking.
Twilight growled.
The girls shut their eyes, and the elements showed.
Thunder was watching it happen, and felt so happy knowing that he will now know how they work.
"Kindness! Generosity! Honesty! Loyalty! Laughter! And Magic!" Twilight yelled out.
"Put them all together and you get FRIENDSHIP!" Twilight yelled.
After that, a rainbow came out and flew straight down onto Jolt.
He just closed his eyes and smiled.
"Hmph. Child's play," He muttered.
He brought a hand up, and made the whole beam dissipate into nothingness.
The girls gasped and opened their mouths in shock and fear.
Jolt smiled.
"'Friendship of magic' huh? 'Elements of Harmony' huh? More like Failure of destroying me," Jolt said, opening his eyes with a normal smile on his face while mocking the girls coup de gra.
"Okay! Then we will fight you instead!" Twilight exclaimed, getting up in a battle stance.
Jolt just put his hands by his sides and said, "Come at me with all you got!"
They did just that.
They all tried hitting him, punching him, kicking him, and hitting him with their magic as well!
But he'd keep dodging everything like it was just a little mosquito bite.
Jolt laughed.
"Come on! Are any of you trying?! You haven't even hit me yet!" Jolt exclaimed, laughing at how boring this was getting for him.
The girls started getting frustrated.
Thunder got up, and felt his breathing steady. He smiled.
Then he saw Jolt punch Twilight directly in the face.
She screamed and hit the wall across the Library.
"Hmph. Your such a weakling," Jolt said, talking down to Twilight.
The girls walked up to twilight in horror.
She coughed up blood and groaned.
"I'm okay girls! Don't worry, I'm fine!" Twilight said, trying to calm her friends down.
Jolt grew another few inches and made a 'hmph' sound.
"I just don't get it! Why didn't the Elements work on you?!" Twilight said, feeling completely confused and hurt at what's going on.
"Well....you see," Jolt smirks, "There was somepony that gave Spike this potion that he dranked. He told him at the time that it would protect him from dangerous beams and or monsters. But what the potion was truly for was," Jolt looked at the girls with no malice, but complete evil and danger were seen in his eyes.
"To make it so, no matter what happened, that the Elements of Harmony would not affect him. Good or evil. So, thanks to this pony that Spike met, he purposefully made me immune to the Elements of Harmony!" Jolt explained, laughing.
"That's a load of horse manure!" Rainbow complained.
"You wish it was. You just watched me bat it away like it was nothing with pure terror in your eyes!" Jolt said, growing smug.
The girls growled at him.
"Who would do such a thing?!" Twilight screamed in anger.
"I'm not saying, But I am gonna kill you so I can absorb your magic!" Jolt said, laughing.
"You have to get through us first pardner!" Applejack said, standing up in front of Twilight.
All the other girls stood up with her and protected Twilight. Twilight felt touched at what they were doing.
"Girls....."She said, trailing off in shock.
Jolt laughed and touched his head.
Then he sighed and looked at them.
"I don't need to do that," Jolt said, smiling.
The girls grew confused stares.
"Why?" Twilight asked.
"Because your all forgetting about a certain somepony here," Jolt slowly turned around and looked at Jolt with a smile.
The girls gasped.
"JOLT! DON'T YOU DARE TOUCH THUNDER!" Twilight screamed.
"And what are you gonna do to me? Scratch me? I'm so scared," Jolt said, making an over-dramatic pose for emphasis.
He flew straight up to Thunder and smirked.
"Holy....." Thunder said, trailing off.
Jolt got even taller! He was almost as tall as the Princess now!
He moved his head closer to Thunder's ear.
"Ready?" Jolt asked Thunder in anticipation.
"I am so ready," Thunder replied, smiling.
Jolt moved back and nodded. He grabbed Thunder by the crook of his neck and smiled.
"I shall take this pony as my prisoner! If you do anything, I will kill him!" Jolt said, laughing evilly.
The girls screamed in terror. "NO!"
"BYE!" Jolt said, flying away quickly with Thunder.
Thunder screamed.
When they came up to the house, Jolt put a barrier up. Making the house disappear and them invisible. When Jolt went inside, he put Thunder back down.
And then he laughed.
"To think your plan actually worked Thunder! You actually got me free from Spike and I am finally in control of myself once again!" Jolt said, moving his hands and cracking his neck and arms.
"No prob," Thunder said, smirking.
Thunder sat down.
"So, what's the next part of the plan?" Jolt asked curiously.
"Well. Part one of the plan was to free you. Which we did. But now were on part two. We need to find others to help us," Thunder said.
Jolt nodded.
"I really need to thank you for freeing me. Your the only pony that I found interesting and not annoying to be around. And that's saying something," Jolt said, smirking.
"Your welcome," Jolt smiled.
"So, who are we gonna get on our side?" Jolt asked.
"Well....first, I need you to get rid of that barrier."
"Okay," Jolt nodded.
He took the barrier down.
"What next?"
"I need you to head into the basement and stay there. I'll say that I got myself free and ran away from you," Thunder said.
"Okay,' Jolt said.
"I need to make some potions and stuff as well. I'm gonna get my friendship with Applejack closer. Once that's done, I can give her a potion that will let her see the error of her ways and turn on her friends," Thunder said, smirking.
"Who am I gonna get?" Jolt asked.
"Rainbow Dash," Thunder smirked.
Jolt smiled, "From this point on, your my bro. We are gonna take over this pathetic planet and rule the world!"
Thunder nodded.
"Oh!" Thunder said, widening his eyes in realization.
"Also, use this potion on Rainbow Dash when you see her. It will erase her memory of everything, and she'll only have memories of being your assistant and her bitch, Ok?" Thunder said, giving Jolt a rainbow like potion.
Jolt grew a surprised expression on his face and took the potion.
Then he laughed.
"Yeah. Your good. Barrier's down, going into the basement. When should I come back up?" Jolt said.
"When Applejack is on our side is a good time. Because then Applejack can hold onto Rainbow Dash in order for you to pour the potion down her throat," Thunder smiled.
Jolt laughed and nodded.
"Okay. Adios amigo!" Jolt said, heading down into the basement.
Thunder shut the door, and made it so no one can get in unless it's him. He looked left and right and then sighed heavily. He moved his head closer to the door and whispered one word.
"Cum," He said, blushing lightly.
"Password accepted. Door is now locked," A robotic voice said, locking the basement door.
He heard laughter from the basement.
