This isn't your sunset, Sunset.......

The noose was hanging from the ceiling of Sunset's apartment. A stool was underneath it, ready to drop. Sunset took her jacket off, placing it on the ground.

'I've lost everything..... My friends...... Travis.....' She thought, trying to align the stool with the noose. Her phone was vibrating on the table as Applejack called her. She picked up.

"Sugarcube!!! Listen, we believe that you aren't the Anon-a-Miss!!! What are you doing right now?!?" She hung up, putting the phone on the table, leaving it to vibrate once more. She picked it up once again.

"What the hell do you want, AJ?!?" Applejack was shocked at this reaction.

"What are doing, sugarcube?" She was still aligning the noose with the stool.

"Listen, you guys aren't my friends anymore, okay?!? I don't need you worrying about me anymore!!!" She shouted into the phone, tears in her eyes. Applejack asked the same question.

"What are you doin', sugarcube?" Sunset sighed in defeat.

"I'm ending all of my pain...." She said, sitting down in a slumped position.

"What in tarnation do you mean by that?!?" Sunset smiled as she grabbed Travis' mask.

"I'm joining Travis....." Applejack gasped at hearing this.

"Sugarcube, don't you DARE kill yourself!!! Me and the girls will be right over!!!" Sunset chuckled.

"Why shouldn't I? I've lost EVERYTHING!!! I lost Travis to that bunny-thing, and I lost you guys to a rumor!!! So much for being true friends......" She said, kissing the top of the burnt mask in her hand. Applejack facepalmed on her side, Sunset hearing a car door shut.

"We're comin' over. Please don't do anythin' stupid......" She said, hanging up with Sunset. She got a chair, putting it to the door so they couldn't get in.

"It's time to go where I really belong...." She chuckled.

"I really let Trixie get to me, huh?" She said, about to step up to the stool.

"I'll join Travis.... And be with Foxy..... We can all live in the spirit world happily!" She said, crying yet smiling. She stepped onto the stool, thinking about the effects of her dying. What would her friends think? Would they miss her? She sighed, letting go of all of it.

"I won't have any more pain....." She said, putting the noose around her neck and tightening it. She could barely breathe. She attempted a smile, her face being bright red.

"It will only hurt for a minute...." She said, putting one foot off of the stool. She closed her eyes, crying at how much pain she felt.

"It will all be over soon!!!" She yelled, kicking the stool over. She sharply gasped as the noose tightened on her neck. It dug into her neck, not letting any air come in her throat, nor escape. She immediately regretted her decision, as she struggled to try and get the noose off. Not prevailing, she put her hands down, trying to yell.

"H-Help me......" She couldn't take it any longer. She went limp. The only pain the she felt was in her lungs, and in her heart as her vision started to fade. Almost dead, Sunset saw the door to her apartment burst into pieces. Six figures came in.

"SUNSET!!!" Her vision finally blurred, her heart pulse coming to a stop. Smiling one last time, Sunset closed her eyes, excited about seeing Travis.

Sunset woke up in the middle of a dark room, laying on a glowing, white platform.

"Hello?" She said, her words being echoed back to her. She shuddered.

"So, this is the land of the dead, huh?" She said, putting her hands to her hips.

"This could be an OKAY place to stay for now...." She said, lying down.

"I like this place already!" She said, a smile on her face. She was finally away from the pain. She heard footsteps.

"Hello?" She looked up, seeing a figure. A very slender figure, wearing the mask of the puppet.

"H-Hi..... do you know where Travis is?" He chuckled.

"This isn't your home Sunset......" He took off his mask, revealing the face of Travis. Sunset looked to him in tears.

"T-Travis?" She stood up, running into his arms. They hugged each other tightly.

"I'm so glad that I'm home with you....." She said, tears running from her eyes. He hugged her back, sighing.

"You don't belong here Sunset...." He said. She looked up to him. What did he mean by that?

"You aren't supposed to be dead yet....." He said, looking in sadness.

"You AREN'T dead yet Sunset... This isn't your sunset....." He chuckled at the pun. She was confused at this.

"How am I not dead? I hung myself, and died!!!" Emotionless, he broke the hug.

"Your friends saved you in the nick of time....." She gasped at this.

"Right now, you're only asleep. They already took you to the hospital, and you're lying in bed." He said with a sigh following.

"How do you know this?" She asked in a hesitating voice. He looked to her, seeing fear in her eyes.

"Pinkie Pie took the mask with her, so I'm basically watching you while you sleep...." He looked back.

"Look.... This isn't the end, and you haven't lost me....." She started crying.

"You're dead though!!! How can I not lose you?!?" She said, pounding her fists on his chest.

"Let me make a deal...." He said, a grin on his face.

"Tomorrow, you'll see a kid at the bus stop you normally go to. Give him the mask and let him put it on." Sunset looked at Travis, confused.

"What good will that do?!?" Travis smiled.

"You're about to wake up. Just..... do as I said, and I won't be gone....." He said. Her vision started fading as she fell to the ground.

"Give him the mask....." We're the last words that she heard. The she blacked out.

Sunset woke up to the faces of all her friends, Fluttershy crying in her lap. She winced at the light.

"Oh my gosh....." Rainbow said with awe in her voice.

"G-Guys?" Sunset sat up, looking to all of them.

"What... happened?" Applejack smiled.

"She's okay!!!" She cheered, hugging her. The rest of them joined the hug. Then, Sunset remembered.

"AJ, can you hand me the mask?" She looked to Sunset, confused.

"Here you go..." She said, grabbing the mask and giving it to Sunset.

"Listen Sugarcube. We're sorry that we.... said all of those things......" She said, blushing. Sunset shook her head.

"No, I should be sorry. I gave up..... I shouldn't have done that. Not to mention that it was extremely painful too...." She said, feeling the rope burns in her neck. She looked at the mask.

"When can I leave the hospital?" Sunset asked Rarity, who was wiping the mascara filled tears from her eyes.

"By tomorrow morning, darling. Why do you ask?" Sunset smiled at this reply.

"I'm afraid that Travis isn't truly gone, girls!"

The dead, fourteen year old boy, named Travis, was waiting for the bus, so he could transfer to Canterlot high. He figured that the man in purple could be hiding there, so he thought that he could investigate. A girl sat next to him.

"Excuse me?" He looked to her.

"May I help you?" He asked in response. She took out a burnt mask.

"I need you to put this on....." He was shocked to see another puppet mask, so he figured that he should. He grabbed it from her hand putting it on. Memories started filling his head, until he remembered it all.

"S-Sunset?" She smiled to him, embracing him in a hug.
