Verdo's Story

Chapter 3: Hope

Then three ponies were walking by coincidently they were the same ponies who witness Verdo’s first coming. They were curious on how Verdo has been doing since he was brought here. They didn’t want to intrude back then but now seeing the mother in distress they approached her. The one in the middle asked “What’s Wrong”? Athen responded “Like you would you care for a zebra like me”. The girl in the right asked “We are just wondering, you know”. Athen Looked down and sighed “I am about to lose my son”. The three ponies was shocked at the news, they sat down with her waiting for her to continue. “They said there’s a chance for him to live it requires money that I don’t have, to find it” continued Athen. The one who used to been in the middle asked if there is any way they could help. “No talking to me was generous enough” Athen said wiping a couple tears. One of them left and came back with the rest of the ponies that was there that night. They all had pity for the poor zebra and one of them of the six stepped forward and said “I well help pay”. Athen looked up and then another agreed to do the same and the rest joined in as well. “I don’t know how to thank you for this” said Athen in an uplifted voice while still having tears. The group consisted of two Pegasi, two Unicorns, two Earth ponies and one zebra. They put all their money into finding a cure. Even though the cure was on the way, Athen was terrified and was blaming herself for what has happened. She was always helped by the six ponies. The female Pegasus was named Astra, the male was Bulix. The female Unicorn was Pintra and the male was Leastar. The female Earth pony was Corastrong, and the male is Cerbro.
