1 Bad Day
One day i remember vividly as the second worst day of my live which turned into the best one.
After a stressful and tiring night at work I went for my standarts pretty early to bed, only to be woken up two hours later by my phone ringing. Instead of a day of i had to work an additional 7 hour at the lokal chocolate factory. Later that day, after finishing work, i was a little bit mad but i thought i would have the rest of the day of, right?
Nope!
Befor i got home my phone rang again. My boss told me one of my co-worker called sick at the nearby rehabilitation Clinic and i had to stay there till someone different could get there and finish the night. When he told me that, i raged about 15 minutes but it felt like hours. I slowly calmed down because i knew there was no point in beeing mad.
Waiting for a replacement I sat at the counter, still furious on the inside but calm and collected on the outside. Finally, after three hours of almost nothing to do, the replacement arrived and i finally went home.
The first thing i did after getting home was changing into more comfortable clothes than my working outfit.
Second thing i did was going into the kitchen, open my fridge, take out a bottle of vodka and a bottle energy drink and mix them 50/50 in a glass.
Thats my way of ending a really bad day.
That and a nighttime walk.
It wasn’t even a particularly good night. Many clouds and no moon in the sky. Even the temperature droped below 10° C although during the day we had at some points almost 35° C. Around half past eleven I made a small break just outside town when i felt something really strange in my chest. It felt like a warm flame kindled inside my heart. Anticipation and an overwelming feeling of happynes washed throu my body.
I knew something really great had happend in this moment but i didn’t know where or what. Really confused i spinned around and searched for something to use as an explanation. After three turns and still no clue i continued walking, always looking for something suspicious. Only because i was lucky i found what i was looking for.
On the mountain top, where i usually go stargazing, i noticed a weak blue light glowing up . My firt thought was someone would be up there gazing at the sky. My jaw dropped when a strange figure popped out of the light and the light dissolved into thin air. The first instinct was observing for any clue what that "Thing“ might be and if it’s dangerous. Then my logic kicked back into gears an i started to notice that i was slowly but steadily walking towarts the mountain top. Without any logical reason I wanted to know what this creature could be.
-Maybe a stray dog roaming the peak? No, that can't be. There are no stray dogs in at least 20 km radius around us, especally not up there.-
On my way to the place where the srange light appeared, i made up my mind, who or what probably came out of that weird light.
Even if it's impossible and/or totally crazy to hope for it, it is the only thing which is logical and has the highes chance of happening.

Alien
I know, I know. I'm crazy because i believe aliens exist. But am i crazy when i look up into the nightsky, seeing billions and billions of stars and a small part of my mind thinks there has to be at least one other sentient species out there as advanced as the human or even further.
You have to believe in something, don't you.
After 10 minutes of fast pace walking i finally arrived on a plateau just under the peak.
There it was - A living, breathing, shadowy and (hopefully) peacefully alient beeing, circling around an obviously burned spot on the ground.
Sneaking as silently as possibly, i tried to get closer without being noticed.
After a few steps i started to notice a mumbling coming from the aliens direction.
At first i couldn't understand a thing what it said but that wasn't really a surprise. The closer i got the more i managed to understand what it said. I was pretty disturbed, and a bit curios, that i could understand that extraterrestrial being. Behind a bush to use as cover, i stoped to get a better look at this unearthly creature.
My jaw hit the ground after i heard it saying something about Equestria and "being send here". Completly out of nowhere i felt familiarity and sympathy entering my subconscious. To this day i don't know why i approached it, but truly i am glad i did.
Without any hesitation i stood up behind that bush, walked around it and said with a calm and friendly voice:
"Hi there, I saw you jumping out of that blue mist/light thingy a while ago and i wanted to know if you are ok. I don't mean any harm,so if its ok for you, i'd like to take out my flashlight so i can see you better."
After a few seconds i slowly started to grab my lamp from my pocket, turned it on and pointed it at the creature in front of me.
For five seconds my whole body stopped working entirely. Befor the thing managed to reply and my brain could restart, I fainted.
Chapter 2 Who are you
At sunrise I awoke from a really bad dream, only to find out it wasn't a dream at all. Finished with rubbing my eyes and stretching my numb limbs, I started to realize I was still on the mountain top where I collapsed that night. The only different seems to be that I was dragged of track and layed underneath a tree to be, at least a little bit, protected from the elements, especally the freezing wind
- Wait! How am i still able to move after a night on a mountain top, specially on this altitude, without something to keep me warm?-
More confused than ever, but still with that strange happynes filling my heart, I quickly stood up to examin my surrounding.
There it was - The pitch black burned spot I noticed that night was about 200 meter left of me, directly in front of the slowly rising sun.
Finished with even more stretching I started walking across the plane towarts the spot I fainted, trying to figure out why, for gods sake, he appeared on this particular day, to this particular time, at this particular spot.
I expected a lot of things. Aliens, animals, weird mutated hybrid like a bugbear (created by using the DNA from a radioactive bee and bear) or even a crazy old man who lost his sanity many years ago but never have I ever considered seeing something such impossible like him with my own two eyes.
Shortly after i started looking for any clues, the odd creature detected my absence and hecticly startend to look around, in hope to find me befor i was gone forever. Spotting me pretty quickly, he sigh in relief and started to walk towards me and the burnt patch of land i was still circling around.
Trying to whistle happily (but failed terribly) he steped beside me. At firs i didn't noticed him standing there because i closed my eyes to organise my thougts better. After clearing his throat he politly started talking.
"Good morning Sir. What a lovely day to expirience from start to finish. I'm happy to see you recovered from the little shock this night. May i ask why you fainted, of course only if you know why."
By hearing his voice i started to open my eyes again. Without saying a singel word i sat up, eyed him and poked right between the eyes.
- He is real. He ... Is ... REAL!!! I can't believe this. But he looks a bit odd. I expected him to look more like a real one than to look exactly like the drawing Lupi made for me.-
After an awkward moment I launched myself at him, sending his hat flying across the plane. Completly baffled from my hugging-attack, but oddly happy about it, he tried to shove me aside. But to his despair i didn't budge.
Some seconds later i released him from my "allmighty hug of doomTM". Avoiding as much eyecontact as possible, we sat there what felt like an eternity, before i finally broke the silence.
"I'm soo sorry. I just wanted to confirm that i'm not insane and hallucinate. But you are real. I still can't believe this happened to me."
BEST DAY EVER!
I hugged him again but this time more gentle and a lot shorter. After releasing him the second time I stood up and started talking again.
"To anwer your first question, I fainted because my brain stoppen working after seeing you. Next one, yes, i know you. I know you better than anypony else. In fact I know you as good as i know myself. Question 3 and 4: Where are you and who am I. The first one is easy. You are on Earth. Date: July 9th 2015 AD. You are currently residing in my humble hometown. And about the last question. It's pretty hard to answer. I can tell you this: I'm 19, my birthday is the 14th of May and i live alone in a two - room apartment and yes, if you want you can stay there till you find a way home. Any other questions i shoul answer?"
Afer that "little" speech I left him completly speechless. He wasn't expecting to get so much information in such a short amount of time. A few minutes later he managed to sort his thougts good enough to reply.
"Ok, wait a minute. First of all how can you know me if this isn't Equestria? Second, why do you exactly know what i wanted to ask you in the exact same way i would have? Thirdly, why aren't you more disturbed in seeing me? And at last, for now, whats your name and why didn't you tell me before in your barrage of answers."
During his speech he stood up and walked between two imaginary points on the ground up and down. I wasn't mad at him for beeing a bit rude because in his situation, i would have done the same thing.
Still not stopping in his "line of thougts" i got up and went to his precious hat. After picking it up i got back to him, taped his shoulder, placed it onto his head and said
said
"Hey, Black Flare. If you really want to know everything, i'll tell you as good as i can. But only under one condition."
After hearing his own name, he finally stopped and turned around to see me.
"Under what condition?"
"Nothing bad, really. I just want my hat back. I probably lost it when i fainted last night. If you help me, i'll help you. Deal?"
I kneeled before him to get onto his level and offered my hand to seal the deal.
"Why should i believe you? I don't know you, but you certanly know me. Give me one reason why i should. And it should be a good one."
"You know why. If i was hostil, you would have sensed it long before i regained my conscious back. The next points is, I'm your only hope. If someone beside me would have noticed your appearence, you would have either beeing killed or taken to a Research-Facillity. I promise i won't hurt you. If i do, you have my permission to use your light spell to vaporize me. Is that good enough for a reason?"
"Good enough" he replied dryly, still trying to find anything logic out of the situation. Raising his hoof slowly to shake my hand, he quickly stopped befor reaching it.
"You know that i know that you are forcing me to do this and i don't like it. I'll agree tho this, but that don't mean i'll trust you."
Gently grabbing his outstretched hoof, i shook it. Afterwards i stood up and trying to surpress as good as possible a big grin on my face. Befor starting to search i replied to his last comment.
"We will see. Maybe you'll change your mind after you asked everything you wanted to know. After that you'll probably try to kill me, but that's just a speculation."
Completly ignoring what he ranted afterwards, i started to search for my hat. 25 minutes later, with no result, i returned to the still pissed of stallion.
"Hey Black Flare. Have you seen my hat? It looks a lot like your hat but it has a blue, white dragon badge on his left side. Ma.."
" ... ybe i know where it is? Yes, i do. I placed it aside you during your "little nap". How do you like your own medicine!"
I stood there some seconds, completly caught of guard with that rather harsh reply.
"Damn, i learn fast." i mumbled silently to myself.
What did you just say? the stallon asked, more curious than actually angry. Assuring him that i said something to myself i retuned to the spot i "slept", i searched everywhere but couldn't find it.
"He Black, where did you hide it. I know you hid it with a camouflage spell so i can't find it without you. So, please undo the spell so we can get to my home." i said louder than usuall. Slowly, but steadily, i got pissed at him but i tried to calm myself as good as possible down. I know how hard and stressful it can be to be suddenly in a completly unknown place.
"I did that as a safety measure. I had that feeling you wouldn't leave without it. You'll wear it everywhere at any given time, even in the middle of the night. Just ... like ... me?
Why do i get the feeling we aren't so different at all?
... ... ...
Forget that. Back to the topic. I'll break the spell for you. Wait a minute."
After that his horn started to flash with a blackish aura and released a beam into my direction. I jumped out of the way, just in time not to get hit. The beam hit the ground beneath the tree and with a big flash my hat appeared at its place. Immediatly after that i got back onto my feet.
Still a bit amazed by what happend, i picked my hat up and inspected it for any damage made by the flash.
"Wow, I expected a lot to happen today, but this is probably in my top 3. Nonetheless the awesome firework, we'll have to go now or you might get seen by other villager. Hurry up or i'll go home without you."
Standing there like a rock, he replied with a grim face.
"Now you got your hat back. I kept my end of the deal, so now you have to answer me one thing befor we go.
Who are you?"
