My Little Portal

           Rainbow Dash was in Ponyville, on her way to see Pinkie. She thought about what they were going to do. She flew for a minute, and then reached Sugar Cube Corner. Their, she was greeted by her 5 friends. But, they all seemed sad, and also Pinkie's mane was fully flat. They looked at her and then looked at the floor one by one.

     "I am sorry you have to be a part of this." Twilight said. Rainbow was confused.

     "Part of what?" asked Rainbow.

     "A war." this time it was Applejack.

     "We all are going..." said Fluttershy quietly. Rainbow's jaw dropped. Was this really true? Were they going to risk their lives? Who were they fighting? Questions welled up in her mind. She sighed.

     "Who are we fighting?" asked Rainbow.

     "The yaks." replied Twilight. Rainbow again welled with questions.

     "I thought we were friends with the yaks!" replied Rainbow

     "We were until a pony was late to get the Princess for a royal meeting." said Twilight. Whoever this pony was, thought Rainbow, she better be in the war she caused.

     "OK, when does this war start?" asked Rainbow.

     "It starts in 3 days, since they are stubborn and won't let ponies train or gather fast enough." said Rarity.

     "Well, lets get ready!"

     3 days later the war started. Rainbow had taken a bow and arrow, since she was best at shooting, as she didn't know how a gun worked. She started a battle with a yak, and it had a sword, which grazed her side which caused her to bleed a little. Rainbow shot an arrow at the yak, and the yak fell down and writhed in pain. Rainbow at least was nice enough to put the yak out of its misery, with her own sword that she would use if she needed it. Other yaks kept looking over at her, and a huge one charged at her, and it hit her before she could react.

     "You are going to pay for killing my wife!" said the yak.

     "No you are since the yaks started the war!" replied Rainbow. The yak growled and then jabbed his sword into her eye, causing it to fall out. Rainbow screamed in pain. It was going to be awful being blind in one eye.

     "Oh now you are really going to pay." growled Rainbow. She bucked him in the face. The yak quickly got up and rammed into her, and started crushing Rainbow's legs, and causing her to bleed horribly. She screamed, and then the yak was blasted, and immediately killed. The last thing she saw was her blood, and Twilight running toward her.

    Twilight rushed Rainbow to the hospital, and Doctor Whooves ran up to her.

      "What happened to her?!" asked Whooves.

      "A yak really harmed her... Can you do anything for her?" said Twilight.

      "I know something I can do, and she better be thankful I saved her life when I'm done." replied Whooves.

      "OK, please help her..." said Twilight, as she ran back out, seeing Fluttershy running from a yak.

    The first hour wasn't pleasant, as Dr. Whooves had to clean Rainbow up, and examine her. He found all her legs injured beyond repair, so he had to replace them. She had a broken wing, and she would need to stay for a few days for that. Last, she was missing an eye, so he also needed to replace it. He actually could make a new eye for her!

   Rainbow woke up while he was making a new leg for her. She screamed.

     "What is your problem dude?! Why did you cut off my leg?!" asked Rainbow.

     "Your legs are damaged beyond repair. Oh, have to noticed you can see fully again?" asked Whooves. He had replaced her eye with a robotic one, so she could see.

     "What did you do to make me see again?!" she asked. Dr. Whooves held up a mirror for her and she gasped. Rainbow now had a robotic eye, still the iris was the same color, but the rest was black!

     "So you are going to cut off all my legs?" asked Rainbow.

     "I'm going to have to if you want to walk. Don't say you can just fly, because you can't." replied Whooves.

     "Fine. Do it." said Rainbow. He made her breath some anesthetic, so she would get knocked out while he worked. That would also mean she wouldn't feel the pain.

      About 5 hours later, Rainbow woke up. She looked around, and she saw that all her legs were now robotic. Whooves was sitting down on a chair by her, and he looked at her.

     "Get up and see if your legs work." he said. She got up and walked around. They worked well. She then stopped and looked around, seeing if her robotic eye would work well. It did.

     "Now, follow me so we can see if you can run." said Whooves. She followed him out of the room, into a gigantic one.

     "Run across the room." said Whooves again. She ran all across the room and back 5 times, and she didn't get tired. She must be able to run for long time periods now! Also, her speed was increased, and she thought it was amazing. She kept running and running.

     "Come on! We need to show Princess Twilight. She was very worried." said Whooves.

     "OK lets go!" replied Rainbow. They trotted into the waiting room, and she found her 5 friends sitting there, all scratched and mangled up.

     "Uh g-girls, R-Rainbow is o-out." stuttered Fluttershy. They all gasped.

     "I know I changed, it is because of that yak." said Rainbow. "Also, I am way faster and I can run longer than an average pony!"

     "Thank goodness you are alright!" said Rarity, as she hugged her.

     "At least you are still alive!" Applejack said.

     "Oh I was worried!" said Twilight. They all had a group hug.

     "The war was also faster than we expected. There was too many ponies for the yaks, and we drove them out, and they actually surrendered!" said Pinkie. At least it was over and nopony else was going to get harmed now! They all went on a train, but Whooves had told Rainbow she had to go to Equestrian Facility for further testing. The 5 other friends gave their farewells to Rainbow, and they went on a train to Ponyville. Shortly after, Rainbow got onto her train to Equestrian Facility.
