Chapter 6: Malus Messor Part II

"These dogs will get their reward, now bring him to us." She demanded, trying to cast some fear over the Diamond Dogs, but her superior gaze was having no effect on them. It was as if Malus had made them immune to her status as a sun goddess.

"When every single coin is safely in my dog's paws, you can have me all you want. But until then Sunbutt, I will be waiting." He said, calling the wonderful princess of the sun, Sunbutt. Almost every reporter wrote that down as they too would begin to call her Sunbutt. She silently growled in her throat, not liking the nickname at all. She then finally conspired with Malus, sending guards to unload a worth of 10,000 Bits from the Ponyville Bank. The dogs happily loaded the silver and gold coins unto their carts as they began to take them away. Before the guards could apprehend Malus, three portals appeared near the Diamond Dogs as they quickly ran into them. Before the anyone could do anything, the dogs were out of sight and gone with the portals. This now left the infamous Malus Messor alone in chains, surrounded by pony guards. Before the guards brought him away, he began to speak one again.

"I'm sorry to say that I am not actually here at the moment." He said, confusing the ponies. But they soon were surprised as the guard's hooves merely went through him.

"This is merely an illusion of myself." I said, making the crowd gasp and the guards rage.

"You lied!" Celestia said, her mane now flicking like a flame, showing her rage.

"I cannot go with you lot, for I do not trust you ponies. But what I have said is the truth. Besides, Celestia can lay off the cake and give some to starving puppies. Can she not? But the reason why I do not compile with you this for my own safety. I was just simply walking into town and that got me attacked and ended in the tragedy of ponies losing their lives thanks to Twilight Sparkle. If the common pony will attack a person at random for merely being who he was, I can't imagine what the noble class snobs would do to me in court. We all know that most nobles with power in Canterlot are high-oh-mighty brats and always judge anyone different unfairly. Since your terrible government is corrupted by the rich, I leave it up to you to speak for me."

"You reporters, you are not just simply telling the news, for you are now speaking for the truth. I beg you to print justice that the corrupted hide from. Shine light on blackened words of the false. If you know what right, tell the world that I, Malus Messor, the Lord Of Bones, is here to bring justice on this plane of corruption and evil. Equestria is slowly decaying away in it's own illusion of glory. So I will help bring the light in darkness, but it is you who must bring them down. I can show the door, but only you can open it. Now I must be off, I have to help these adorable puppies get their first baths." And with that said, Malus Messor's illusion faded away, leaving the crowd of news ponies jaw dropped as they began to make haste to the nearest train station, ready to spread the word. The guards on the other hand, were pissed as Celestia had finally had enough and stormed off to Canterlot. Her mane showing her burning rage on the way there.

After giving off my speech, I sat down on my throne of stone and bones. I began to laugh, not like a crazy villain from a cartoon, but because I had just tricked an ageless being and got off with 10,000 Bits to my name. Oh this was fun! The plan went smoothly. Thank to my young sister forcing me to play and watch the pony show, I knew where to got some spells to make my plan go off splendidly. The castle of the Two Sisters, yet even with it's age and in ruin, still had it's huge library stocked with books on magic. But the only problem was Illusion spells took months to master and portals took a lifetime to fully understand and perform them. So how did I learn the spells so quickly? I blame Skyrim Logic. Just like when I picked up the first two books from Skyrim, I instantly knew everything they had to offer. So that logic applied to every other book I picked up and opened. Under an hour of nonstop book absorbing, I was literally a master at Telekinesis, Enchanting, Illusion, Alteration, Conjuration, Manipulation, and many other magics.

Anyway, I moved my dogs to the Castle of the Two Sisters. After they settled in, I commenced my plan. And since it worked, my dogs were praising me to no end. With the carts of gold being stored in the castle's basement, I began the start of rebuilding this fort. I first ordered my guards to go hunting for game and other sources of food. While they got food and supplies, I began to take command of construction of the new fort. The first thing we needed was to rebuild the fallen walls. Thanks to my instant book absorbing powers, some past knowledge from my world, we began to make this pace more secure. Thank god I had powerful magic! For now I could levitate huge boulders and melt them with my magic. With my powers and the dog's help, we formed 20 foot tall, 6-5 foot thick concrete like wall around the castle perimeter.

While we didn't make a new wall entirely, but fortified and built upon and used what was left. After five long hours of my melting, forming, and cooling parts of the wall, we had somehow done it. After taking a breather for my Magica to regenerate, I and the dogs began to build a bridge from the wood of the forest. By the time we finished that, the hunters returned with fresh meat of animals. They also brought tons of canned supplies and kitchen equipment to building tools. All thanks to Fluttershy loving animals, my guards had been having an easy time pillaging her home and pets.

They even looted her basement that stored a month's worth of canned food. But what I really liked what they brought me was medicine and proper kitchen equipment. While they did take a lot, I made them not take everything like family pictures or her furniture. But since she was the most innocent of the six elements, I left 2,000 bits for her, because she was my preferred one of them all. Even though I am now somewhat pure evil undead being known as a Draugr, I'm not cruel to the innocent. Anyhow, with the walls up and our safety from the monsters, I began to make my own version of the Ten Commandments and then carved it into a stone Tablet.

The Ten Supreme Laws Of The Draugr Empire

1.) You Shall Not Murder.
2.) You Shall Not Commit Adultery.
3.) You Shall Not Steal.
4.) You Shall Tell The Truth, And Nothing But The Truth.
5.) You Shall Have The Right Of Freedom Of Speech.
6.) You Shall Have The Right For Life, Liberty, And The Pursuit Of Happiness.
7.) You Shall Have Equal Civil And Voting Rights.
8.) You Shall Have The Right To Bare Arms.
9.) You Shall Be Equal Among All Individuals.
10.) You Shall Obey All Laws That Follow Within The Supreme Ten.

Till The End Of Time, The Ten Supreme Laws Of The Draugr Empire May Never Be Altered Or Changed,

For It Is Forever Set In Stone.

With my new Laws set in place, I began the feast. But unlike last time, I was making them eat their food like normal people, not like savages. And I actually got food this time! But like last time, it was still a mess in the end. But anyhow! Zake was now my appointed my adviser of the now named Draugr Empire. Though it was barely a pack, I planned to gain power and land soon. If Zake was right, there should be a pack five times bigger than ours with mines fresh with metals and gems. I could challenge a Alpha to a duel, most likely to win and claim the land and people. But that would lead to future problems as governing them would be hard as trust would be scarce. So I had another idea besides demanding power like a dumb dog. Why not take a visit and see what it is like? Maybe I could make a deal or create an alliance? That would be so much better and less troublesome for me. With that idea planned tomorrow with Zake, I began to rest on my throne, falling once again to sleep.

The Next Day

Before we left our new home, I had fashioned some newly made armor for my guard like companions. Thankfully, the castle had it's armory half intact with some sets of armor still intact. But sadly they were meant for ponies, not Diamond Dogs. So with my recently acquired knowledge from two dozen books on smithing, I got a old forge running again and soon, I began to craft. I first took and melted all of the available iron and began to turn it into Steel with the aid of my magic. With the leather and fur from the killed animals, I forged 4 exact sets of Steel Armor for my Diamond Dogs with Steel Helmets shaped for their heads. I used the steel to also make two Steel Maces and two Steel Swords.

But as for the shields? By then, I was nearly out of Steel to fully forge one with. So I used the last of it to make simple, lightweight, wooden imperial shields with the last of the steel holding each one together. The only thing different with it is that it was without the Skyrim logo. After fitting the four travailing guards with it, I began my journey with Zake leading the way. The four guards forming a box around me.

To summarize my walk, it was quite an adventure to say the least. A pack of normal Timberwolves had surrounded us, trying to get an easy meal. But they quickly learned to not attack me as I obliterated one of them into splinters with a single shock of my magic. The rest of the wolves fared the same fate as I simply turned them into sawdust. Half way there, we stumbled upon a group of four Manticores. But unlike the Timberwolves, I tested out some dark magic books I found in the deepest parts of the castle instead of simply destroying them. I walked up to them, meeting the Alpha Manticore. I had an idea I wanted to try and so I quickly tested it on them. My Manipulation and Illusion magics worked their way into the brains of the Manticores, turning them into my own pets.

But with the dark magic's had a side effect on them as their fur turned a fine black with the manes becoming a sickening whitish green. Their eyes now giving off purple, black, and white mist. Their eyes themselves became pure black with a white dot and having a purple glowing hue. They grew a bit bigger with larger black leathery wings, their tails became a bleached bone white with noticeable veins of sickening green and blackish purple pulsing under the skin. Their paws grew sharper and stronger claws as the four also grew in muscle strength. Another noticeable feature was that they had grew two huge fangs and had magic deadly radiating off of their body. I smiled as the three males and one female Manticores had become my own monsters of war.

I quickly gave a mental order with my magic and they laid down. Smiling again, I ordered my dogs to ride them. My four guard dogs got on the two smaller male Manticores while I had Zake ride the female. I was left with the towering alpha Manticores. After getting on and ready, we took flight, riding the Manticores in the air. Sadly, Diamond Dogs have a natural fear of heights and did not like flying on Manticores 100 feet over the treeline. It took a few minutes to get my scared dogs back on track and we quickly glided in the air. Our distance with this Everfree Clan that Zake called was soon seen in the distance as flying was much faster than walking through the forest. Before we reached the large Village, we could hear a bell being rung over and over again, singling our presence.

We quickly glided downwards and landed at the entrance. We were then brought to a halt as the huge double reinforced door were locked shut. Then Diamond Dogs in fur and leather like armors appeared over the wooden wall. They were all armed with longbows and had them drawn, aiming at us with accuracy of hitting us high. We waited there my guards at my sides while Zake stayed behind me. We stayed like this, bows aimed at me while we waited for their leader to appear. And soon the Alpha did appear and did he look strong. I thought Iron Wall was strong! This dog was a biped 5' 10" Pitbull on steroids! My god, he was like a shot dog version of the Hulk! He was wearing only fur shorts with leather gloves that looked like had knuckle dusters underneath. I diffidently do not want to be hit by this guy if I value my life.

"Who are you?" the muscular dog asked with slobber spitting out.

"I am Malus Messor, Lord of Bones, and King of The Draugr Empire. I wish to have an audience with your Alpha." I said, speaking calmly and being polite as possible. Even though he wasn't doing such with his saliva.

"DO YOU CHALLENGE GREAT AND WISE ALPHA!" He shouted, slobber spewing everywhere and on everyone as I swore I saw some foam forming in his mouth.

"I merely ask for a chance to have discussion with your Alpha." I said, keeping my cool no matter what. Is that a piece of chicken? Ummm... Disgusting... I then began swiping off saliva off of my mask and robes. The huge bolder lifting Diamond Dog grunted and stepped away from sight. Five minutes latter, the armored doors opened to revile the buff dog with twelve other guards. All twelve of them were armed with a simple, cheaply made iron sword and simple wooden shield in the shape of a circle with a spike in the center.

"Your... Beast stay out there. Do anything stupid... and... I turn you into dinner stew." He threatened, obviously showing his lacking in speaking, but his size and muscles totally made the point. Maybe his bronzes and might were more important than speaking when growing up? I thought. I wasn't just going to label him stupid for having hard time speaking. I have two friends that are disabled i n their own ways as they both have a trouble understanding speech. I wasn't going to be a total jackass for his lacking or based on first impressions. I'm... Or was a nice, understanding person. But that didn't matter now as I was guided to the biggest house, it being two stories with a straw roof. My guards were left to tend to my Dark Manticores while me and Zake were left to negotiations.

Before we entered, the huge Pitbull told us to wait as he would inform him. Moments later, we were lead into the building. There was a long dark oak table with trays of food and mead. The left side lead to a room in which I presumed was the kitchen as the smell of something good was cooking. On the right was a set of stairs leading to the seconded story, most likely being where the alpha's personal room was. But underneath the stairs was wooden crates of random stuff such as rolled up rugs to clothing and some chew toys. Yes, I saw edible chew toys in the shape of cigars. Oh god, these dogs be smoking joints! Besides seeing what I thought was chewing tobacco for dogs, I then saw the alpha himself.

In a wooden throne adorned with green and blue gems, sat a very old shaggy, border collie with a long braided beard. His coat was a dull gray with faded white spots, barely visible as age had taken it's toll on the dog. The dull silver blue eyes still showed great strength, even if his body was nimble and belonged to a seventy year old. I smiled under my mask, he was no brute like the one next to me, but a individual that used his calculating brain to an advantage. He was a warrior, that is true, but his intellect was intact and strong as ever. I could see all of this in his eyes, and he too was looking into mine. I think we'll become good friends, hopefully. He then, croaking his throat, began to speak like chanting elder

"Spirits come and go through all of our own, most being guided by them with a helping paws of fate. Yet when spirits wonder upon you, they be bounded within you. None of them ever leaving and never to go with the flow nature and life. Why do I see this spiritual unbalance before me?" He chanted, looking over to the huge Pitbull with a frown.

"He, um. He asked to talk like I told you Alpha Rook? What do you mean?" The drooling pitbull asked, gaining a sigh from the Alpha. He then looked over to me, as if waiting for an answer.

"It depends really. I have many of these imbalances and maybe more that you see within me, Alpha Rook." I replied, not fully understanding what he meant.

"You are abnormal among mortals. You have the form matching one with such complex and vast knowledge. Yet your mind and spirit do not faltered with the ages, unlike my spirit, you keep everything known and never let it go away with time. How did you accomplish such mastery in memory keeping?" he asked dryly, waving his paw over to a servant. The servant quickly brought a cup and jug of water. Rook in turn drank his dry throat away and looked at me, waiting for my reply.

"Using many forms of advance and lost magics to keep my mind perfectly intact. That is why I have perfection in memory, even though it has it's faults as it has in turn changed who I am. Also having magical abilities to instantly absorb all knowledge from books and intelligent beings has helped. This ability making learning quickly as I can keep adding and adding vast collections of knowledge into my mind without trouble of remembering. This hopefully answers your question of spiritual unbalance you see within me." I answered truthfully, while do not know how I can instantly remember things like a simple google search, but it was bound to be magic. Besides, completely lying to this guy would be asking to be kicked out or "turned into dinner stew" as the Pitbull said.

"Well then, I believe we have a lot to talk about? Come! Sit! Sit! If you would be so kind Breaker Bolderson, could you bring some chicken stew to our guest?" Rook said, waving to two of us to sit at the dining table. Hopefully we can start discussing trade and maybe an alliance. One can only hope.
