The Laying of The Eggs

Previous ChapterNext Chapter

That stallion was delicious indeed. A very fine stud. I can't wait to try out the others. Now I must wait for the eggs to be laid. In the time and energy it takes, the others will have to wait until tomorrow. All I can do is wait in the nursery chamber as my stomach expands to the size of five beachballs. It's a good thing that I'm as large as I am. I sit and sit surrounded by drones, ready to help me for the miracle of life to happen.

After a while, It starts to happen. The eggs shift as they ready to be layin. The first one starts to make its way out. As it leaves out my "birth" canal, one of the drones grabs it before it falls to the ground and goes to plant it in its place on the organic membrane that the nursery's walls, floor, and ceiling are made of. The eggs themselves are only the size of a golf ball. The small size make the process quick and smooth as well as a much more pleasant experience than actual birth of pony foals.

I look at the first changeling egg lain in centuries. It looks like oversized pea. The shell is too thick to see the grub in it, but that will change as the grub grows. When it grows, the egg expands with it. The egg is planted on the membrane. The membrane is made of the same stuff as the cocoons, but sircreate pure nutrients rather than the goo my studs are contained in. The nursery is essentially a large womb when you get down to it. The eggs don't need it, but it's safer, makes them heather, and mature faster. I would watch the egg's shell fuse with membrane, but the next egg followed the first one closely.

It's one after another every ten seconds. It's like a balled sex toy pulling out constantly with no end. The biggest risk of this process is if I orgasm, it'll disrupt the flow. The small, subtle sensation that comes from it is easily suppressed, but just to be safe, a drone is lending its hand for my to bite into. One by one, the eggs are brought into the world. The process goes on for an half an hour to a full one. After the last egg is laid, I remove my fangs from the drone's hand and catch my breath.

When I get the strength to get up, I inspect the eggs. Each one was healthy and had a high chance to move on to the next stage of development without major issue. This first batch was over two hundred and fifty eggs. My army and empire will shape up in no time. As I went though the batch, I wondered about the future. I'll need more studs to increase the genetic diversity to prevent inbreeding. I also need to think what a pony mare's role should be. A changeling stallion has sperm like a pony. So what happens when you have a pony mare and changeling stallion breed? The mare will probably have a foal like normal, but will it be a changeling with pony qualities or a pony with changeling qualities? If the former, then that's inefficient to the egg system. I will always need ponies to give love and expand the gene pool. I will have to sort that out when it comes up. The right here and now is the important one.

The eggs will take a week or two before they hatch. My studs may not be feeding me with love, yet, but I'm sure their parenting instincts will kick in so there's love for my children. I want the second batch quickly, but I must rest for today. Tomorrow, I think I'll try the pegasus.
