I decided to repost this because I was bored. This is an alternate origin story for Chiaroscuro and Discord.
Discord is set free by a mysterious cloaked pony who would love nothing more than to see her best friend happy again. But things immediately go south when he sees her as prey and feeds off her blood.
Feeling a hunger that he hasn't felt in a thousand years, Discord goes forth to Ponyville and begins to prey on the ponies their. And it's the week of the new Lunar Festival and Nightmare Night, so there's plenty of prey for him to go around.
But Discord is also fueled by hatred and malice for what had happened those thousand years ago. Now he is after not only Equestria, but what he was denied all of those years ago, his bride.
Chiaroscuro lives a normal and quaint in Ponyville and is happily helping to plan the Lunar Festival, glad that her cousin Luna is finally getting the respect that she deserves. But everything is quickly shattered when she begins to have dreams of her former fiance, the Lord of Chaos and Vampire King Discord and some of her best friends then begin to start acting really strange around her.
