The old barn had to come down. It was rickety, worn out, and falling apart. Applejack and her family could easily fit about fifteen more apple trees in the space of that barn, or at least a couple more silos. Applejack is given the excruciatingly exhausting task of cleaning out all the old junk from the old barn's attic. However, to Applejack, this chore was nothing more than a grand adventure into the past. She was determined to find one old treasure from the life of her Granny Smith.
However, the treasure she found was small, round, and colorful. It was the spinning top Applejack's parents had given to her as a birthday gift shortly before they died. When they passed on, Applejack could barely look at the top, much less play with it like she so enjoyed while they were alive. She threw it up in the attic, and hadn't laid eyes on it for years. However, something was different about the wooden childhood toy, something unworldly. Something that could solve the mystery of her parents' death.
