The Taraxippus Equestrian Darkness

We say it is more than just an ordinary day, in a long and the forgotten dark ages. Who knows what is going to happen to the next, generations.

"I'm not giving up on my father's behalves, he believed so much in me, and us...I'm not giving up mom's ether" Grim Verde said a pure green stallion standing on hooves to not giving up on himself. "What's the worst part Grim? We have been causing chaos far too long, don't you think we should disappear?" asked Comet Shade the middle child a blue stallion with the power to destroy dreams and darker for the hunger of his magic, he haven't gave up on his older sibling. "Never" Grim said, his mane flow with the wind looking at the mountain in which he sees the future beautiful nightmares... or mostly, enemies to fight to the end.

"Why would we disappear Comet? We can take it down, piece by piece! I will take them down,” said Eclipse Blight the youngest child to the band of misfits. A purple misguided brother, Eclipse is always in the way for trouble, none of his brothers gives him the respect or a good talk.

"No... I must transform this world into ours, once Equestria sees their true terror...we will be the kings" Grim said almost startling his own brothers.

"How are you going to do that? We barely have any magic left. We fought since day one, and for the million time your still not giving up?" Comet asked his brother and his grew louder, looking around for anything to be hunted down or any threat signs. The land has no light; screams are still being heard from torturous monsters, killing every last innocence. Laughter never died, in so... one of the most powerful dark element, to laughter... it always comes with slaughter in the end...reborn in the light and continues in the dark.

"Dad never gave up on us...its time to never give up on him and mom. Even if it takes our lives away...we are the new rulers of this land" Grim said walking away from the cliff side valley, trees died without regenerating food, water has been wasted and frozen. Eclipse looked around without an expression...stone that strong and waiting for some fresh nightmares to cause. Walking past the dead trees and into stage two of the Everfree forest, the stallions walked until they became lost together. "So what's on the other side of this wonder?" Eclipse asked Grim he knows he wants to know what else is there in a new nightmare land. "Just darkness...its home, ever since some creatures banished mom and dad to this forest, they left some magic behind and created something so evil, something they left for us. That dark magic keeps on getting stronger every night and each shadow, mom and dad sacrificed themselves to protect us, leaving this forest to us it is something we would never forget about them" Grim said explaining something that is always on Grim's mind.

"I gotta say...we are born to be nightmares, especially we aren't the only nightmares in this world" Comet said and to a surprise attack by Grim, he used his dark green magic to slam Comet to a tall still tree.

"Don't you get it Comet? We are the last nightmares, but I am not just getting lost in this forsaken world. That's because I have a surprise for the future. Something they won't stand up against, not just some ordinary creatures like us. Darker than just first step of dark magic into long lost casting shadows. Eternal darkness and shadow for every day and night. I have more than that, magic is what I am since I am the next heir to the throne. Comet, look at us! We are the ghosts of sins and guess what? An army is what I need; an army is what we need. I'm not just an ordinary stallion, or you guys because we are the ghosts. And how are we going to do this? We won't stop the moonlights, but we can cast away that candle. We need...an army" Grim said his magic faded away and Comet flew in the air.

"How much can we get darker for an army? We...you don't have enough magic to control them. You can't control every monster while the innocents keep on dying. What more do you want than an army?" Comet said the cold air flew through his fur and dig into his blue skeleton, in a light blue glow.

"I want the crown of the light" Grim smirked and chuckled. Eclipse looked at his brother, confused "crown of the light? I know darkness is everywhere but how come there is still a candle?" Eclipse asked his brother more than just confused, its more skeptical than he thought. "In a few more centuries...we have our first enemy...and a new ally, that's when we must disappear" Grim answered. Comet didn't like the thought that there is going to be a new enemy, he believes more than just an enemy, he believes in the new ally somepony who has the same power as his brothers and himself.

"Are we going to fight that enemy? Or go to a new world to cast our shadows?" Comet asked Grim from above and slowly made his way back to the ground right next to Eclipse.

"First, no, second, yes. It all leads to new worlds; we will spread this darkness in every world. Crowning me as the new king, and the princes of massive carnage and darkness. So its all part of a plan...the innocents will become the new taraxippus to become our army, strike at every dimension, or alternate universes, until then...we don't have the plan to strike at a good timing. I know the first place to attack...and its going to one good hell of a great scare... to terror" Grim said smiling like he knows what is best to protect his brothers and lead a powerful army.

"To terror" Comet and Eclipse said at the same time, smiling at the greatest plan ever.

"Twilight! Twilight!" shouted a stallion, to the most beautiful mare a stallion could ever fall for. Orange coat almost close to the flames of fire, the blue mane and tail almost smooth to a calming ocean or the pure light sky. The stallion has been waiting for the moment to tell the princess of magic, that somepony special is coming to visit her.

We all know their names and greatest rulers of the Crystal Empire they are really close to Twilight Sparkle. The stallion knows that he must be careful around Twilight; her brother is a powerful ruler and seems to scare him kind of easy.

Bursting through the doors the stallion looked around to spot Twilight reading a book in the archives room, he smiled. Not only to tell Twilight the good news, he wants to ask her something very important, something he should have done when he first met the princess. "Hi Twilight...um... would you...um...would you like to...go out with me?" the stallion asked, but only in front of a mirror, wanting to crash it but he didn't. "Dang it Flash Sentry, I know I can do this... I know I can! I just need to find the right timing, but how? Prince Shining Armor is always around when I tried to ask Twilight, to go on a nice slow date. I really do care about Twilight, but would she reject my offer? I can't go on the bad side to be all cool, and just a jock. I can't be that...I can't be the crystal guard...and that is what I'm going to do... I won't be the crystal guard... I would just... be me" Flash said walking around the halls and soon, that moment was just twenty minutes ago, when giving an order to escort Shining Armor and Cadence to Twilight's new castle.

Flash is being afraid around Shining Armor, because he knows about Flash's secret crush on his sister. "Whatever you do Flash, stay on guard and avoid my sister, its getting pretty serious from now and then" Shining said once they were on their way to Ponyville, Flash nodded.

"Yes sir."

Flash looked down when he was about to ask her about the date, and the same moment that Shining Armor and Cadence made an entrance at the doors. Flash walked backwards and told himself to shut up, "Twilight!" Cadence cheered walking towards her and did a greeting dance,

"Sunshine, sunshine, ladybugs awake, clap your hooves and do a little shake!" Cadence and Twilight created musical harmony, and they hugged.

"Its so great to have you guys here!" Twilight smiled as Shining joined in on the family reunion hug, Shining glanced at Flash with a serious determined look.

"I will be outside if you need me, sir" Flash said.

"Okay, so Flash" Shining said as Flash looked at him.

"Yes sir?" Flash said, his wings opened almost flying around the castle looking out to some threats.

"Look, I know..." Shining stumbled and trailed off, as he walked out of the door with Flash by his side.

"I know how much you feel about my sister, I may be a prince and you're just a guard, I'm just being over protected for Twilight, protecting her with my life. I don't want you to hurt Twilight, because of...because of being rejected and broken. Her element is very powerful; if you break that then I might kick you out of the forces. Its not just that, because I know how it feels to fall in love with somepony that special, I had to get on the princesses good side and...I know how much I love Cadence. If you do that same thing with my wife, and me you must be careful of what is going to come next. Take it slow if you want to, it takes a while for this friendship to get closer" Shining said placing a hoof on Flash's back he looked down and knew the same feelings, he is looking for a way to get Twilight alone with just himself and her.

"Thank you for that closure, sir. But how can I get to your...sister when your just everywhere? I keep on trying but I am just afraid to say it at the wrong time" Flash said the wind is picking up a small breeze, enough breeze to flow through his body and under his wings, a need to relax by soaring so smoothly.

"I'm just doing my role too much, looking out for my wife and my sister, and the entire Crystal Empire. It’s a lot of work and so much to do. A great stallion of mine once told me...greater things happen when we rage, to know what is right, cannot hide it far too long. My grandfather was one of the greatest ponies I have ever known, he taught me everything I needed to know, including love and magic. So don't forget what you are hiding, hiding things...just makes things longer than any story. Besides, you’re my favorite Crystal guard always doing the same thing as I am doing. Even repeating history is a strange coincidence, but things always change in the end" Shining said smiling and Flash gave him a small smile, its a great thing for a stallion talk.

Flash stood his ground and felt strong, "thank you for telling me that, even if I ever get the chance to talk to Twilight...can I just get one chance or another, to get your permission to date your sister? I have been hiding my feelings far too long, and its even harder to say it towards you. Do you know what I mean?" Flash said, pointing out some things he still needs to know and how much he can't hide his real self.

Shining Armor nodded, "I totally understand Flash, now. Lets have a nice stallion night, want to watch hoofball tonight?" Shining asked with a sly look. Flash is feeling excited for the play tonight. "You bet I do! But..." Flash trailed off only to think about who is going to be the lookout. "What if I don't do my job?" Flash asked Shining a valid question.

"You deserve a night off the job, its time to relax. I'm also inviting some of my friends to the game, and its going to be awesome" Shining said while Flash just cheers and flying in the sky.

"YEAH!" Flash screamed and flew around town.

"So Twilight, how are you and Flash Sentry?" asked Cadence levitating a grape in a light blue aura and ate it, her magic faded away. Twilight blushed when she and Cadence are getting some time to relax in the spa,

"Oh... I don't know Cadence, Flash is a great guy and I want to spend time with him too. But every time Shining Armor comes in, Flash just seems to be quiet like he wasn't even there, invisible like a ghost you know?" Twilight said as she yawned and stretched her body and her wings, she sighed.

"I wonder why, Shining Armor is more... more than just a prince, after all he seems more like a king. Kings are always the leading rulers of an empire" Cadence said using her magic to pop in another grape, Twilight shivered with a few goosebumps.

"Sorry about that K word, Twilight. It kind of sucks when we have bad memories of the past, trapped in shadows is quite unusual for you. I'm just glad you found us again, who knows what will happen about that evil thing taking over again when he is just...gone for good" Cadence said chewing on another grape, "know what Cadence...your right, I think its time for me to get over the past and keep on moving on. The past is the same, but the future is the change. Its feels great to be...me again" Twilight said levitating a grape and ate it.

"Hey Twilight...think fast!" Cadence said as she splashed some warm water towards Twilight, Cadence smiled and Twilight looked determined for a few more rounds of fun, splashing water around. Twilight splashed some water back at Cadence as she giggled, "the best way to forget the past is to get a great smile and a great laugh" Cadence said as she giggled.

"You know Cadence, you almost sound like Pinkie Pie. And to the think of what you just said made perfect sense, we may have bad memories but we need something good to let it say goodbye. Forget about what happened and start doing something different in the future, never let it take us away even if we are afraid" Twilight said a big splash completely washed Twilight, covering her in small water droplets.

"Exactly...now, what do you like about Flash? We didn't talk about him until I turned...well...you know what" Cadence said, Twilight blinked "your right. And to be honest, Flash is just more than just a guard when I keep on bumping into him he has very beautiful eyes. Those dreamy eyes even if he is my own guardian angel, wherever I go he always seem to want to talk to me. Flash is amazing, even without armor I seem to like him by his looks and his personality. Flash also looks like he feels the same way that I do, its like... a romantic connection" Twilight explained after a fun time, Cadence smiled and got out of the spa she looks like she is looking for something.

Twilight waited in the hot tub, and trying to think of what is Cadence is doing.

"Listen closely Twilight, your brother and I didn't meet like royals. I went to the Cloudsdale Academy as Shining went to Celestia's Gifted Unicorn School, it was a long distance thing I didn't meet him until my aunts told me about the next step in my life, I transferred to Celestia's School because I earned my horn when I saw ponies breaking up, and I had a feeling that they belong together and it was my role to get them back together. I did everything for that..." Cadence paused, lifting up a book and opened it.

"Oh my...Shining wanted to get to me, but he was just too afraid, thankfully he had some friends. The first time I saw his handsome eyes, I felt something in my heart that is telling me to find him. At first...he was a pretty cool nerd, the next was the school's jock wanting to impress me and he asked me to go out on a date, lastly I saw Shining look defeated. It was up to me of who should I choose, and I knew that I have to follow my heart" Cadence said and smiled, remembering her favorite moments in high school.

"You chose Shining Armor..." Twilight gasped, then shook her head and smiled.

"I did, it was a tough decision to choose for love, and maybe you have the same thing as well. Friendship isn't the first thing in life, trusting the ones around you is the first one, family, then it comes to friendship, no matter where we go it will never die, the strongest one is the love of who you seek and really care about.

You and Flash Sentry carry the same thing as Shining Armor and me. It's like history is being repeated, in a different path and different love" Cadence said, Twilight looked down to the thoughts of what her words really means. "Twilight, if you care about Flash, go find him and let the answer be spoken from your heart.

Don't just hide it because it takes a longer time to answer, even if we are afraid to admit the truth. Keep on lying to hide hidden feelings or just... let it go to speak the truth and the feelings will set you free" Cadence answered if she knew about mind reading. Twilight looked up and smiled; she felt warm tears streaming down her cheeks. "Thank you Cadence, thank you for understanding me" Twilight said jumping out of the hot tub and hugged Cadence, in a slow surprise attack.

"Your welcome, now let's go shopping for some more quality time" Cadence said grabbing a towel and wrapped it around Twilight.

"You are incredible, my amazing foal-sitter, and sister" Twilight smiled.
