The Taraxippus Equestrian Darkness

Spike has been panting for a while, while running towards where the girls are still unconscious he brought back some friends, hoping if the evil spirits had already gotten to the girls it will be too late to save them from the corrupted spirits. If Spike knows the ones that are still un-corrupted it would be able to possess the girls for safety.

"So you guys know the plan?" Spike asked, still running with the spirits of Trixie, Spitfire, Derpy, Doctor, Bulk and Vinyl Scratch. Trixie, Doctor, and Spitfire have voted to say, "Yes" while the other nodded with agreement.

"So... if we can possess your friends, they will be protected from the evil ones?" Doctor Whooves asked Spike in a calm manner, running to follow Spike.

"Yes, and please protect them, they are all I have left, to stop the Taraxippus" Spike answered and soon he stopped running, screeching against the ground to slow down he can see, five other spirits with black eyes and looking lifeless, their skin colors are darker and walking like zombies. Night Glider, Soarin, Fancy Pants, Fleet Foot, Cheerilee, and Octavia walked out of the shadows it appears they has been corrupted for hours.

"Don't worry, we have been taking good care of your... friends, Spike" Octavia said her voice sounds deeper, and very thin for the air being carried like echoes past beyond them. Vinyl removed her glasses to see that Octavia isn't herself; she wants to help her to snap out of it.

"Octavia..." Vinyl whispered.

Octavia smiled, walking up from her corrupted friends.

"Oh Octavia!" Octavia singed, she placed a hand on her left eye and slide it down to reveal Octavia's pink eye, crying. "Guess what's going to happen to your... friend?" Octavia laughed and that laughter carried on in the echo, while the others laughed with her, sliding her hand up to cover the pink eye and in a battle mode position.

"There is no way you can win!" Spitfire said, pointing a finger at them as everyone started to get in their battle positions.

"Oh really?" Soarin spoke so creepy, whispers were being heard around the school's hallway a low chuckle came from him and started to laugh loudly.

"Wanna fight? Then lets fight" Doctor Whooves said, as they charged against each other they where soon blown back from a magic force. Eclipse came out of the lockers "there will be no fighting" he said, looking at everyone.

"Eclipse Blight... how long have you been in there?" Spike said almost growling, about to pounce onto him and try to scratch his eyes out.

"Long enough to see you girls fighting with words, although... for all of you" Eclipse said pointing to the evil spirits, Eclipse made a black electric charge at their feet. "Release them" Eclipse demanded.

"Never!" hissed Night Glider.

Eclipse relaxed his eyes, his black electric shock triggered them to cause in agony. Trixie, Spitfire, Derpy, Doctor, Bulk and Vinyl were shocked that Eclipse attacked the evil spirits instead them. Soon they felt lighter, and their normal selves returned to normal they fell down to the ground.

"Octavia, thank goodness your safe" Vinyl said walked towards Octavia and hugged her, Octavia soon opened her eyes and everyone else did too.

"I can only do this once... my magic won't let me use it again for the next... I don't know, the next five centuries. I have to get you girls and guys back to life, its one way for my father to feel weaker. Twilight did it too, and now its my turn" Eclipse said, Spike stood on his hind legs on Eclipse's foot, his paws on his leg.

"You can't do that! I mean Twilight passed out for a while, your going to get the same thing and you need your strength. We have to help you!" Spike said. Eclipse shook his leg, and Spike held on he looked mad.

"Get off Spike!" Eclipse said shaking his leg.

"NO!" Spike replied.

"Your making me look like an idiot in front of everyone! So stop!" Eclipse said. Derpy and Spitfire were getting Spike off of Eclipse's leg.

Eclipse sighed; he slammed against a locker and slid down.

"Your right Spike, but guess what? I have been in pain ever since I was kidnapped, so many punches, kicking, and scratching. I was strong because I thought I could make it out alive. And I did, I was loosing myself again" Eclipse said he closed his eyes and felt very tired he exhaled.

"What do you mean, again?" Doctor asked.

"I tried to commit suicide before, I was left on the rope for hours and didn't realize I was still breathing I thought I already died... apparently I wasn't" Eclipse said, in the next moment, he held out his right arm and used his black magic to wrap his arm and exploded the magic aiming at the ghosts of friends.

"Always remember, pain is what makes us stronger including death to the next. Be safe and run" Eclipse said he tried to stand up to aim better, his left leg started to crack and break, then his right. Eclipse grunted to realize his heart is about to stop, it’s slowing down almost to be killed easily. Holding his right arm with his left hand, he begins to feel dizzy to loose his vision he closed his eyes in concentration.

"Aaaagh!" Eclipse was in pain and so was the spirits as well, they where holding their heads like something is screaming so loud they are loosing their hearing, and some of them dropped down to the ground. Eclipse begins to worry and to think of something, he was using all of his magic to resurrect them and the next he feels like he is already disappearing.

"Eclipse! Stop!" Spike said calling out to him, he was beginning to loose his hearings but Eclipse didn't stop. Eclipse's nose began to bleed and soon crying blood out of his right eye. Eclipse remembers his girlfriend so much he is waiting to see her in the afterlife, remembering when he was just a happy little colt, and the cold and endless darkness. Eclipse feels like he won't forget the moment he was being cared for... people actually cared for him...

Then the magic stopped, and Eclipse was face down to the ground just about in time to fade. Eclipse felt some hands on his right hand, Twilight and Rarity are there awake and alive he looked at them with a sad expression, and they gave him the same expression as well.

"Its not time for you to leave Mr. Blight" a voice echoed in the distance Eclipse recognized that voice he remembered who it is... Cynder Dusk. "You really love me that much don't you? I can't believe that you have been saved by me so many times..." Cynder said she was clearly and nearly visible to him she placed a hand on his cheek.

"Don't you dare forget yourself, don't you dare forget why you are here and who you are, because you are more than a Taraxippus" Cynder said as she reached into his chest, Eclipse felt a new type of pain he was shaking hard, "Shh this time... you can't die at all" Cynder said as she faded away. Eclipse screamed, his body is in pain and he couldn't stop shaking he bit his lower lip from screaming.

"Cynder..." Eclipse whispered.

"Okay... what the hell just happened?" Rainbow asked anyone she was more confused than ever, including everyone.

"When I touched Eclipse's hand it felt like...he was ready to die, but... someone or something else was here and it... saved him from faded away" Twilight answered.

"Your a doctor right? Can you help him?" Rarity asked Doctor Whooves. "Yes I can... I'm afraid I'm not that kind of a doctor" Doctor said scratching the back of his hair.

"Well... can you try?" Rarity asked again hoping for a good respond. Doctor nodded and then started to think, he walked over to Eclipse, Doctor touched his neck, to his shoulder, past the waist and on his knees then stopped.

"Strange... his thighs are bruised and healed... his rib cage cracked open and reattached itself, his neck was about to twist but reshaped back into place, his right arm is broken from using all of his magic, and now its healed. But not only that... his heart was about to explode, then he felt... love... a long ago...no centuries old from his...his... girlfriend?" Doctor explained, as he touched Eclipse's cheek and quickly swiped it away "Ah... that's even more bizarre... he's ice cold" Doctor said, looking at his hand it was turning into ice, frostbiting Doctor's hand. Rarity took out a jacket from her bag in her locker and wrapped it around Doctor's hand, "when I woke up back in my body I felt very ice cold, all because it is a new experience to me. As in. This never happened before, but I've heard stories of Taraxippus being monsters as in. They disappeared before... not like the ones that are already here. The Taraxippus are three legendary creatures that loves to haunt their victims. Even though I remember scaring one off before, hopping around like a bunny and acted like hyenas or... straight down anxious, ravenous birds... what where they again? Oh right... Vultures. Anyhow, the Taraxippus are monstrous ponies of known to be... ghosts... they love to give everyone a good fright. Trust me I actually dressed up like a ghost pony before, it was very childish of me but freedom is what I am and what I always wanted before" Doctor explained further.

"Yes, my friends know about that before. All because... I asked Spike to ask ghost Applejack and ghost Rarity to capture one of them. I just didn't seem to realize that Eclipse is more important than Comet or Grim... unless..." Twilight said then something dinged on her mind.

"There is a forth dimensional key... and its Eclipse Blight, and I believe... his role was supposed to betray the family, once betrayal happens they intent to disappear while fighting until they are wiped away from existence" Twilight explained.

"Then... then... I lost a new friend of mine..." Fluttershy said she started to cry, walking past everyone and hugged Eclipse.

Fluttershy's cheek started to turn ice cold, and hugged harder. Twilight and Doctor looked down to think of something else, "That's it!" Twilight said she pushed Doctor away against the lockers. "I'm okay,” Doctor said.

"Remember when we all hugged Eclipse for the first time? He was afraid; we felt the cold that he has been feeling for centuries! Then somehow he was becoming warm! Eclipse isn't just a Taraxippus he's human! As a Taraxippus they are cold creatures, but with friends around him he's human! That is part of his fate! He's becoming human! But that's not all, for some reason he can only control only one, stay as a cold hearted ghost or become human" Twilight explained. Everyone looked at the person next to them, and hugged and they nodded.

Eclipse started to shiver, his hands are turning into ice.

"N-no...I... I can't..." Eclipse spoke softly, its like the cold is transforming him into a human icicle but turning him more into a darker Taraxippus.

"Its a risk everyone, once we touch we need to hug him, melt away the ice." Eclipse opened his eyes, pure black his Taraxippus side is trying to contain him. Fluttershy stood up with Eclipse then landing on knees, "It feels like Eclipse is dying he needs us!" Fluttershy said loud enough before her mouth was turned into ice. Twilight looked at her friends, "are you girls ready?" she asked, while everyone nodded. Twilight went first then Pinkie, Rarity, Applejack, Rainbow Dash joined in on the hug.

"Must. Fight... aagh... h-he-he...hel-" Eclipse sounds like he is loosing a fight within him, his monster side seems to be winning his mouth quickly turned into ice.

"Quickly everyone! Think of the moment when you needed him the most!" Twilight said, she started to think about the time when she first met him, he was scared, he looked like he needed a friend, it was a reason why we needed our enemies closer, it can be true, friends can turn into enemies in the future, but enemies are learning to turn into friends. Having a friend is such an important thing, because without a friend... we cannot save that friend... we cannot save a brother or a sister... isn't that the reason why? Until a miracle comes... we do have the power to save that friend Twilight thought.

Eclipse opened his eyes, blacker than space a world of one massive black hole... a flash to his mother, the real person that he still cares for he can see that Sunset needs help... she needs to know... what its like to be loved, to finally care... to stop being afraid and start being brave. FLASH! Then Eclipse was thinking about his father how much he was being told the wrong way, raised to only be a warrior not a lover... there is a difference but... can it mean the same thing? To be both?

The everyone else joined in on the hug, everyone hugged tighter to Eclipse the ice wasn't stopping soon it is covering all of them, half way around like a spinning clock. Eclipse was then thinking of his brothers, can't Grim and Comet feel the same way? NO! They don't know it! They don't know what its like to be the only one alone!

Grim was just scratching the air with his dark magic almost to every dimension, getting ready for the big invasion but stopped when Eclipse was invading his mind.

"What?" Grim spoke softly and soon... he looked everywhere to see someone... he was feeling something, something Grim never felt before... warmth, love, friendship... family... Grim was hugging himself; his heart was beating with sweat, and fingered it in front of his eyes the sweat dropped.

"What is this feeling?" Grim was looking at his hands, his hands has been ice cold for all of his life.

"Um Grim?" Comet said looking at Grim with a feeling he never felt before, "do you feel this?" Comet asked Grim speaking very soft and very low.

"Yes but... whose mind is this?" Grim asked looking at Comet with a confused look. Grim and Comet paused, they are hearing something, something from... Eclipse? Eclipse's mind? "Can't Grim and Comet feel the same way? NO! They don't know it! They don't know what its like to be the only one alone!" Grim and Comet placed their hands on their heads, something is telling them to save him.

"Please save him! I love this Taraxippus! Doesn't anyone know what its like to be so shy?" Fluttershy's mind came next, "he's a loyal friend and I am a loyal person to him! Is it really hard to face with something else and still need to care for a friend that is still alone? I won't leave my friends behind! Friends are more important to me than being a Wonder Colt!" Rainbow Dash's mind was racing, and soon Grim and Comet are hearing everything, they are closing their eyes so they can tell them to shut up but it isn't working. Grim opened his eyes and looked at Comet, he couldn't help it, it feels like he needs to forgive Eclipse, but how are they going to avoid their parents and the jobs they were given?

"Hey mom, dad, we are taking a break okay? This feels like I'm being drained right now, do you mind?" Grim asked a perfect lie.

"Of course dear! Go ahead and rest for a bit mommy has something for you later" Sunset said.

"Oh yeah sure, just make sure the army is ready when you boys get back" Requiem said.

Grim and Comet looked at each other, Comet placed a hand on Grim's shoulder they walked out of the gymnasium and went the same hall where Eclipse and Requiem was fighting, but only to see a giant ice cube frozen in place, there are people inside crying and hugging one main person. Eclipse Blight, it was too late to save him and everyone else.

"What have we done? I feel like a horrible brother to Eclipse..." Grim looked down the same that goes with Comet...

"Can't Grim and Comet feel the same way? No, They don't know it, they don't know what its like to be the only one alone..." Comet said repeating what Eclipse had said in his mind, he was screaming... to death. Grim placed a hand on the frozen ice, it didn't seem to bother him, and Comet did the same. A spark crackled, and seeing the ice break somehow Grim and Comet looked closer.

"That happened when we both touched the ice... can we break it?" Comet asked Grim.

"I don't know, without a third Taraxippus we aren't strong enough to break it entirely. The only part we can't break is the core, and guess where is that core?" Grim said placing a hand over the middle of the ice, Eclipse is right underneath it.

"If we can't break it that much then... can we do it again?" Comet asked again for Grim to answer.

"Its nearly impossible... but it can be a risk" Grim said as he placed both hands on the ice, Comet steadied himself taking a few breathes until the static became lightning. Comet was focusing on the right amount of energy and magic, and Grim with the ultimate power this can only happen once every fifteen minutes until reaching the core. Grim and Comet are in pain, the only thing that they are feeling is just pain.

For the sake of Grim's and Comet's magic, they can not hold on anymore they have been doing this for quite a while, in so for thirty minutes.

"I can't take it anymore... Agh... can't make it stop... ugh... Grim... aagh... this is... too... painful" Comet's voice was shaking, "no! Keep on going!" Grim commanded until Grim started to scream, "how could I have been so blind? How can I let this happen? This isn't me! I'm not a bad brother! I cared for Eclipse! Agh... I guess I was just left with everything I have been avoiding someone so important to me..." Grim stopped talking, he sounded like he knows what... not Principle Celestia was thinking... Princess Celestia has been thinking... after a thousand years of banishing Luna to the moon... Grim now realizes what kind of creature he is... I'm not her! I am not Princess Celestia! I am Grim Verde! Grim shouted in his mind. Grim's hands turned into fists, the ice begins to crack more and Grim closed his eyes and opened them pure white glow. Comet is in so much pain he feels like he is loosing his immortality, then his eyes began to glow.

Eclipse slowly opened his eyes he felt like he lost half of his soul...

"Eclipse...I'm sorry" Grim and Comet said at the same time, and they sounded like they really meant it.

The ice now begins to melt at the average to five seconds when melting third and three quarters of the ice. The ice started to melt at the edges and eating away the ice to the center. Grim and Comet were blown back against the ground, they layed on the ground to recover. Everyone fell on top of each other while they tried to move out of the pile of people. Eclipse tried to stand up, instead he crawled out of the pile and then something happened.

Wings.

One skeletal black wing glowing in green and one purple coated wing glowed in white, Eclipse was inhaling very badly gasping for air like there is no oxygen in space and, then he layed down on his stomach while his wings lowered. Eclipse sighed. Everyone started to stand up all of them are feeling very dizzy.

"I guess you didn't know much about me?" Eclipse said he was face planted on the ground; his wings flew him up in the air. Grim and Comet were surprised to see something very... very interesting.

Twilight's friends helped up Twilight and the others were standing up with confused eyes. Eclipse landed on one knee as his wings spread the air, Twilight and her friends looked at Eclipse for some reason the ice was transforming Eclipse to the next level, but for some reason... it was more likely that he was loosing a part of himself so instead... he's half human and half Taraxippus.

Twilight walked up to Grim with angered eyes and punched him at the cheek.

"Your a coward..." Twilight said and walked back to her friends, walking by Eclipse and in front of everyone turning around to face Grim and Comet. Grim softened his cheek from Twilight's punch. Eclipse stood up and looked at Grim and Comet... "So... are we even now?" Eclipse asked his brothers. Grim nodded.

"I knew something was up... you were in our minds were you? That's a new one I didn't know about..." Grim said walking up to Eclipse but he back away from Grim.

"I was waiting for you guys to say it... how long it has been since the first time we knew we were connected... instead of being soldiers" Eclipse said he crossed his arms in front of his chest.

"I really meant it... its just that... I feel more responsible about the family... I'm really sorry and I do mean it" Grim said, Eclipse looked at Grim with a glare.

"Oh?" Eclipse spoke in anger.

"While I was the only one being the actual ghost to you?" Eclipse asked Grim, "I knew I wasn't supposed to be... the blind person."

"You got that right" Eclipse answered.

Comet placed a hand on Grim's shoulder, "if we return to mom and dad they would realize something is wrong, we have to gather the spirits in the gym so they won't suspect anything wrong. Requiem is very much on high alert right now... I believe" Comet said while Grim looked down and began to think of something...

"I have a plan."
