Sunset turned the corner with a confident stride, unslinging her AK carbine and chambering a shot. Movement flashed around her, and she broke into a flat sprint as the woods around her fill with opposing fire. Trees zipped by, and Rainbow Dash burst from the bushes to her right arms pinwheeling for balance as she flew through the air to cut her off.
Sunset turned hard toward her, springing off or a log and using the hang time to steady herself and aim.

"Hit!"
Sunset crashed into the ground, rolling across her back and onto her belly, bracing her rifle across her arm and unloading a barrage of pellets toward the flash of pink between the trees, hearing Fluttershy squeak and struggle away through the undergrowth.
