"Hello is anypony there?" Said a grey unicorn with a blue mane, a red stripe going through it and a gemstone with a flame in the middle as his cutie mark. "Yes, I am here young Shadow Star." Creepily said an old blue unicorn mare with a gray mane wearing a cap that covered her cutie mark. "How did you know my name?" Said Shadow Star looking scared. "My name is Truth Sear. I know all and i know you are here to try and get away from this storm, No?" She said as she walked towards him. "And you want to see what it would be like if you lived with your mother, No?" She said with a smile. "Uh Yes, I do but... Never mind." He said as he looked around and noticed books and knick knacks on the walls. "Come with me then." She said as she turned around and trotted toward the back of the store. "But. Arrg." He said as he followed her into the back. The back had crazy masks that looked like they are from Zebrica and in the middle was a table with a glass ball. " I learned how to see into other dimensions from a group of zebras from Zabrica." She said as she looked into the crystal ball. "Sooo, what can you see?" He said as he stared into the ball to see if he can see something. "You must touch the ball to see what you want to see." She said as she backed away chanting. "Ok then." He said nervously as reached out to touch the crystal ball. "So, what--." Shadow Star didn’t have time to finish his sentence before everything went dark. ////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// In the castle library under the sea. "Where is it? Where is it?" said a grey sea-unicorn with a blue mane and a red strip as he swam back and forth. "What are you looking for Shadow?" Said a young blue sea-Alicorn as she swam in. "Ah! Princess, when did you get here?" He said nervously as he bowed. "First of all, just call me Crystal when we’re alone, you’ve known me for how long? Secondly, what are you looking for?" She said. "Right." He said with a blush and a nod. "I am looking for the reports of the sea levels for the past month." He said as he continued to search. "Found it! Now, lets see." He said as he looked over the reports. "This looks bad, very bad. I need to write to king Neptune." "Let me see the reports." She said. Shadow Star hands the reports to Princess Crystal; who reads them intently, carefully analyzing the information they contain. Once finished, she hands the reports back to Shadow Star. Dear King Neptune, I know you have been busy with the festival preparations and a meeting with Princess Luna and all. So I took the liberty to read the sea level reports for you. I found out that the sea levels have been going down as of the last month. Faster than normal for this time of year. So, what are we going to do? From your faithful student, Shadow Star. "Now all I need to do is send this." He said as he casts a spell and the letter disappeared. "Sent. No I just wai.." But before he could finish declaring his triumph, a letter materialized in front him. "Let’s see... What?!" He dropped the letter in shock. "Let me see the letter." said Princess Crystal, picking it up off the floor, before scanning it. Dear Shadow Star, Thank you for looking into the reports, but I need you to go to Aquastria to oversee the Winter solstice festival preparations for me, as I am still in Canterlot. I should be able to arrive before the festival starts; Also I made arrangement for you to stay at the library. From your King and teacher, King Neptune P.S. Please make some more friends. "Great." He said in a disappointed tone as he started to pack. "I wish I could go and see Aquastria; I heard its nice this time of year. And they have the most delicious grapes in all of the seven seas." She said with a fake smile. "I could bring some back for you, if you want." He said as he picked up a book. "Yes! Yes! Please do!" She yelled in a happy tone as she hugged Shadow Star. "Can't… breath." Shadow Star struggled to say. "Oh, sorry. Yes, can you bring me some?" She said letting go of Shadow Star with a blush on her face. "Ya, I will bring some back for you." He said as he picked up the book he dropped. --------------------------------At the front gate of the castle, a very small purple sea dragon swam back and forth. "Where is he? Arrg, if I have to wait another minute for him I am going to..." But before she can finish Shadow Star swam towards her. "Took you long enough." She said angrily. "Sorry, I had to find some stuff. So, you are coming too Zoey?" He said as he did an inventory check of everything he had in his saddle bag. "Yes I am, and the king sent me the list of ponies we have to meet." She said as she pulled a piece of paper out of her bag. "Alright, let’s go." He said as he began to swim. "Wait for me!" And with that, they head towards their destination. ////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// The room around Shadow Star came back into focus. "What was that? It was like I was watching a movie." He said looking confused as he looked around. "Are we done? What’s going to happen?" "It’s getting late and the storm is over. Besides, I don't do this free. So come back tomorrow with say, 50 Bits. That should cover any other sessions we have." Said Truth Sear as she pointed towards the door. "Have a good sleep and watch out for any stray clouds out there."
