This is the middle of the 2nd era of Hoofriel, a continent on the mortal world of Hirn. The land mass is inhabited by many species of ponies and other creatures. Since the beginning of the 2nd era the lands have been prosperous and peaceful. But things have gone from great to worse.
War is brewing over the horizon and because of the impending cry of battle many factions and alliances are being made. The earth ponies have made a pact with former foes, the bats and in turn the bats have made amends with previous adversaries that they enslaved, the changelings.
The crystal ponies have great diplomatic skills as they have secured an alliance with the zebras and diamond dogs. The combination of fighting prowess from the zebras and dogs along with the magical skills of the crystals is fearsome.
The unicorns have recently come out of a slum era and prove their tenaciously and audacity. This has made allies in both the buffalo and griffins alike. The unicorns have never been this powerful and look to the others to conqueror.
Though the pegasi have stayed away from this conflict, their peace treaties with almost every single nation is holding by a feather as they have not made a decision. And if given the chance, one of the factions could very well take over the empire and forge a new one like a phoenix rises from the ashes of its former glory.
But are their other forces at work here, are we just puppets playing for an audience. I fear so, there are ponies and other alike pulling and letting strings go. It is hard the pick the weeds from the field if the field is nothing but weeds but sometimes…you find a flower that stands out. It is not like the others such as weeds or poisonous flower with deadly aromas. And I think I have found one but I must hurry….
I do not own The Elder Scrolls or Friendship is Magic, just a fan. I do hope you enjoy this story and hopefully series. Until next time
