Life is a precious thing to those who have lost it. Canterlot is a large city; home to a larger population, and when a warning of deadly beings approaching comes from the unlikeliest of people, Sunset Shimmer and her friends are forced to hunker down from creatures that were thought to be myths, and as an unnatural darkness falls upon the city, something returns to Canterlot.
