The Trials of Phoebe

 Pips moved like the wind through the forest, at least it’s what felt like for him. He was never that fast. He soon stopped running and tried to find himself in the wildness, he has never adventured in Everfree forest before, but now he could recognize the place for some reason. It would be bad if he encounter a wood wolf or one of those tentacle plants… Or even worse.

 “I really should had bring some food… Well, I could eat a green mushroom, they non-poison… Wait, how do I know this?” But Pips didn’t had time to think about it, because an silver mare unicorn jumped from behind a tree and pulled a knife to his neck.

 “Well, well, well, I never thought I would come across someone so dumb to just wonder so deeply inside Everfree,” The mare look young as Pips, she wore a leather armor and she probably is part of the resistance.

 “What you want?” Said Pips.

 “Your stuff, money, weapons and if you are unlucky, your life,” The mare had a smirk on her face.

 “Ok girl, I have nothing, ok? No money, no weapon and no nothing.”

 “Seriously? You walk inside this forest without a weapon. You are dumber than I thought. Since you got nothing, give me your cloths please, and if do it quickly I may not toss on a rape plant.”

 Well, Pips should had taken a time to test the magic he got. In this moment, he need to disarm her without harm, he didn’t knew how do to telekinesis so he had to think in something else, ‘What do I do? I may be able to kick her away, but what after that? Wait!’ Pips saw a rape plant moving behind her, ‘If I kick her there, that thing would keep her busy… But… She doesn’t deserve this, she’s not the bad guy here and… Wait. That’s not a rape plant!’

 “Girl watch out, a needle shorter behind you!” Pips warned.

 But the mare just gave him a face that said, ‘are you fucking serious?’ A second later, the plant hit her on the back with some kind of needle. When she turned around the plant shoots three more on her chest and she fell unconscious. Pips then quickly tossed a huge stone on the plant killing it.

 “Great! I can’t just leave her laying here. What I’m going to do…” When Pips stopped to think, a heavy rain started, “… Great,” He looked around and tried to find somewhere to hide. He quickly found a cave about a kilometer away. He grabbed the mare and started to run towards the cave when he felt a tremor, “Earthquake?” Pips almost fall, “No time to think about that.”

 Quickly he got to the cave and then laid the mare on the ground, “Ok Pips, now, how to take care of somepony paralyzed by a plant… I need to… Need to,” Pips started concentrating when it came to his head, “I need to remove the needles and then put sap… hmm… Gorlivere sap! Wait, where did I heard that?”

 He tried to find the needles, but they passed through her leather. Pips had no choice but to strip the mare naked. He started pulling off the metal parts of the armor and then he untied the leather. The mare wore a cotton shirt under her removed armor, but it was wet, so Pips had to remove so she wouldn’t get a cold. After her body was literally naked. Pips then started pulling the needles, 3 on front of her body and one on her back. Now he had to find the sap, but with that rain, it would be impossible.

 Pips then started to search inside the mare’s backpack she was carrying. Inside he founded a knife, some money and a scarf with the name ‘Lake Dancer’ sewn on, but under the scarf was a glass of Gorlivere sap.

 Pips start to pass the sap on her body, under her one of breasts, where one of the needles got her and then he took his shirt off and put on her. Then he putted her knife in his pocket and hidden her bag under a stone, she will have difficult to move her body for a couple of days, but he wasn’t sure about her magic. Pips finally sited on the on the appositive side of the cave and wonder looking at the unicorn, ‘Weird, how do I know all this stuff all the sudden? Maybe Nightmare gave me that. I don’t know, I have to rest and wait for that rain to stop and keep my eye on this mare.’

 The sun’s light shining on the mare’s face, she woke up and saw that she was wearing nothing. Then she look at the colt on front of him, it look like he hadn’t sleep all night.

 “Dammit… Dammit! Dammit!” She cried.

 “What is wrong?” Said Pips, with his tired face.

 “That’s what you do? You wait until the fitful mare is wake to fuck her? I don’t know if that’s gentle or evil” She tried to move “What you did to me?”

 “That plant who attacked you shoot sleep needles, to protect herself, you will be unable to move well for a couple of days. And I now going to rape you.”

 “You are going to wait until I get to your dungeon?” She even tried using her magic, but it didn’t worked.

 “No! I not going to rape you, you are not going to be my slave, I’m just helping you.”

 “But you want to.”

 “No I don’t.”

 “Then I hope that’s not a snake between your legs.” She looked to his crotch.

 Pips then saw his morning boner between his legs.

 “… For someone who doesn’t want to be raped, you are really willing for that!”

 “…..” The mare took some time to think, “Yeah. Better if I shut up…. You are really not going to sell me to a slave market?”

 “By the love of Nero” Pips said to himself “YEAH! You are not going to be a slave! I’m not going to sell you! And I’m not going to fuck you!” He yelled

 “OH! Easy there, it’s just rare to find a male like you.”

 “Nice,” Pips started dressing up the mare with her cotton clothes, “Let’s go.” He picked up her bag and then start carrying her outside the cave.

 “Where are we going?”

 “The old castle of Celestia and Luna, I have stuff to do there.”

 “Do what in those ruins?”

 “Some Stuff, you would care.” Pips keep walk.

 “Wow! Deep… What’s your name anyway?”

 Pips sighs, “Listen, how about we do this, I make a question and you answer and then you do the same, ok?”

 The mare took a minute time to think, “Fair. So who are you?”

 “My name is Pipsqueak South,”

 “Pipsqueak?” That wasn’t a really common name.

 “Yeah. And what’s yours?”

 “Lake Dancer… Why are you like that?”

 “Hey! It’s my turn.” Pips pointed.

 “Go ahead, what your question.” Lake nodded.

 Pips and Lake kept talking about trivial stuff, all the way to castle, where Pips would take his first trial.

 “Finally!” Said Pips relieved, it was almost night.

 “Yeah, it was a long way here.” Her stomach growls.

 “Those mushrooms will only last this night. I guess I can sneak in a town and buy food. But I don’t know where one is.”

 “Where is Cloud Dale? I know one that is close, but I’ll need Cloud Dale for reference.” She and Pips looked at the skies and tried to see Cloud Dales.

 “Weird…. We should be able to see it from here.” Pips pointed.

 “They probably moved the city to somewhere else. Probably the storm caused a problem.”

 “That storm was weird. They scheduled clear skies for this week.”

 “Maybe they had some problem with the weather control. I don’t know!” Lake was laid on the floor, “Why are you putting me down?”

 “I need to do something alone. You wait here”

 “Seriously? You are leaving me!” Lake tried to use her horn.

 “I won’t take long…” Pips walked inside one of the castle corridors and said to himself, “…I hope.”

 Walking through the castle corridors, so dark that he just could see about one meter on front of him. Pips entered each room, trying to find out what he need to do.

 “Hey Phoebe! How about you tell me what the hell to do? Hum?” Pips wait for an answer, “Great!”

 Pips keep walking for more minutes until he found a room with what look like to be a moon on the door.

 “It’s… It’s here I have to go?” Pips open the door and enter the room; it had windows so he could see what was inside, a shattered bed in the middle, some closets on the side of another door. Searching in the closets he find nothing, until he open a chest close to a bed, “… A sword?” Lifting the sword, he sees that the blade wasn’t there anymore, like it rust with time and disappeared, “Do I…  Do I have to do something with this?” Pips tried waving the sword and even tried to find something to use as a keyhole, “Great! It’s Legend of Zelda all over again. What I have to do Phoebe!?!” He yelled to the skies.

 In anger, he hold squeezes the sword’s handle. In the corner of his eye, he sees that some kind of aura is coming from the handle, a dark blue aura.

 “Oh! Progress… I guess… I think,” Pips hear something behind him. When he turn around he only saw a blade coming towards him. Pips quickly dodges to the left hitting the table. With light of the moon coming through the window, he saw an old rust armor wielding a two-edge sword. “I have to fight this! With this piece of crap!” When the ‘Ghost Knight’ tried to attack him again, Pips tossed the table on him, which got destroyed by the sword.

 Pips put’s himself together

 “Ok you dam handle! What the hell you can do?” In panic, Pips wave the useless handle a little, “Come on!” When it’s too late he noticed the ‘Ghost Knight’ attacking him again. In the last moment, Pips in reflex, defend himself with the handle.

 When he open his eyes, the ‘Ghost Knight’s’ sword was standing still, as if something was on the way.

 “The blade… Is invisible...? Sweet!” Pips pushed the ‘Ghost Knight’ with the not so useless invisible sword, “Ok you piece of scrap metal. It’s time to you meet the Blacksmith! As in your maker!” He attack the ‘Ghost Knight’s left arm, but the sword doesn’t do much damage.

 The ‘Ghost Knight’ dashes forward and launch an attack. Pips quickly do a wall jump and grab the chandelier. When get a good grip on the thing, it fell from the ceiling, on the ‘Ghost Knight’.

 Pips jump on his feet and stabs the ‘Ghost Knight’ in the head through the eye opening of the helmet. With a toneless scream, the armor collapses and become dust.

 When Pips was taking his breath. A flash of light enter the room.

 “….. Pipsqueak…” It was Phoebe.

 “Please tell me this was my trial.” Pips was covering his eyes.

 “Yes, it was… And one of your first gifts for you accomplishment. It’s this sword”

 “Really?”

 “Yes, it’s call the Moonlight Sword. But she can only wake in a moon night.”

 “Well. Thank… But could you tell me what I have to do next time?”

 “Pipsqueak, you can’t be a true hero if I keep holding your hand through a dungeon. You have to find your way there by yourself.”

 “Goody,” He said with sarcasm “What now?”

 “Go to the town and rest there, then I’ll tell your next trial.”

 “Nice. Then I’m going.”

 “Wait! Even with this sword, it’s dangerous to you two go alone. Take these!” A gauntlet and another sword floats to him, “This gauntlet will let you draw magic. And this sword to use in day time” Phoebe disappear.

 Pips wear the gauntlet as he put the Moonlight in his bag and attached the sword on his belt.

 He tries to find his way back to the main hall of the castle. He could remember the way back, so it wasn’t that hard.

 “Lake I’m back and… Why, are you posing like that?” Lake was in a weird pose. Like she just fell from her bed

 “You have been gone for hours!” She said with her face on the ground.

 “OK, sorry, I was just…. Wait a minute! You were worried about me?”

 “Yeah! Worry about the guy I just met! Great logic”

 Pips quickly pulled her up and held her on his arms. Like a couple just married. “There let’s go to the town.”

 “Please don’t hold me like this.”

 “You have no choice.” And that was the only way he had a good grip.

 Those two walked all night in the forest.

 “Admit egg head, we are lost.”

 “No we aren’t! Just another curve.”

 When Pips was thinking in what to do now. Someone grab his shoulder and turn him.

 A guard was the owner of that hand “You! What are you doing?”
