Time has been reversed

Sunset's Pov

I opened my eyes to darkness. I called out for Twilight but no response. A light was shimmering in the distance.

YOU YES YOU WHO HAVE WENT BACK IN TIME YOU HAVE GOTTEN A SECOND CHANCE YES? Sunset stopped as I listened to what sounded like an old woman's voice. What does she mean a second chance? I already had one? I looked around my surroundings almost forgetting what had happened just a few moments ago.

That's right I was zapped by Starlight's spell . So if what i'm thinking is true then that must mean... A white light blinded Sunset as she put a hoove over her eye to cover it. Stood in front of her was an old lady well technically a witch from the looks of it.

"Wow you're old." I snickered. The witch frowned at the compliment.

"You were looking for some pony I presume?" The witch asked in a raspy voice.

"Yes. She's a purple alicorn and nerdy to. Have you seen her we both got zapped by another unicorn's spell but I have no idea where she is or where I am." I said.

"Your past may not be today but maybe on a rainy day. If you had not gone to that world then you may have taken a longer road. Look deeper my friend for it is the truth what you seek. So take a journey on your own and see what could've been." The witch sang as she pulled out a black wand and she cast it on me before I could respond I was at Canterlot castle? I was really confused but thought back at what the witch had said.I guess she meant that I have to start over? I gasped. My voice sounded like a filly.
As I approached Canterlot Castle I went to a nearby fountain and gasped. As I looked at my reflection my heart started racing as I saw my reflection then I screamed.
"WHY AM I A FILLY!"

Twilight Sparkle opened her eyes to darkness as her eyes adjusted in the thick atmosphere a voice sooned echoed in the dark.

"YOU HAVE DISCOVERED THE TRUE MEANING OF FRIENDSHIP BUT WHAT IF YOU NEVER DID? WHAT WOULD HAPPEN IF YOU STAYED IN CANTERLOT INSTEAD OF FINDING THE ELEMENTS? LET'S GO BACK FROM THE BEGINNING AND START AGAIN

"Hello? Is anypony there?" Twilight asked. A bright light soon followed Twilight shielded her eyes from the brightness and opened them again finding herself at the academy.

"Huh? Why am I here?" A cough was heard.

"For your examination miss Sparkle unless you decided to fail." Twilight looked up and saw three judges in a classroom. Twilight took a closer look and noticed a familiar egg.

Wait a minute? This was the egg that Spike hatched from what in Equestria is going on?
Twilight then noticed that she felt different smaller even.

"Ummm can somepony tell me what's going on? Examination for what?"

"Honey! What are you doing! This is your chance to get in Princess Celestia's school ! Don't blow it!" Twilight turned around and saw her parents in the corner with nervous looks on their faces. A unicorn stallion coughed once again s he tapped a quill on a clipboard waiting on her.

"Well miss Sparkle?" A mare said impatiently as she looked at her watch. Twilight wasn't sure what the hay was going on but she knew that something was really wrong. Twilight looked at the wagon that had a purple and green egg in it. Twilight sighed as she took a deep breath and she closed her eyes as her horn began to glow. Twilight tries several times after making several attempts on breaking the egg she collapsed to the ground and gave up. Twilight had tears in her eyes after realizing what the voice told her .This means that Twilight wouldn't had met Spike when she was enrolled into Princess Celestia's school for gifted unicorns. The judges rose from their seats and one by one they each filed out of the room the mare huffed as she slammed the door behind her.
Twilight stared at the egg , and started to cry.
Her parents came over and conforted her.

"You gave it your best kiddo." Nightlight said as he hugged his daughter.

"No! It has Spike in their!" Twilight sobbed .

"Spike?" Twilight Velvet said as she looked at the egg.

"Oh I get it. You were going to name him if you passed weren't you?" Her mom said as she also hugged her daughter.

"Mom! You don't understand! This already happened ! I passed I did get enrolled I was Princess Celestia's star pupil! I moved to Ponyville ,and I discovered true friendship!" Twilight said as she hit the ground several times.

"You must of been dreaming come on let's go home. You had a long day . We'll see what we can do in your near future . No! I had a future! Starlight Glimmer is behind this!" Twilight said.

"Must of been a bad nightmare dear should we get her a therapist?" Nightlight whispered in his wife's ear.

"I know let's go get some ice cream! That should cheer my Twilight up." Twilight stopped sobbing she sighed as she looked at Spike's egg for the last time.

"Goodbye Spike. I hope somepony else takes good care of you." Twilight said with tears still in her eyes as the family walked out of the classroom to get some ice cream.
What's going to happen to me now? As well as Spike? My future is messed up now! Why couldn't I hatch him! Sunset wherever you are please be careful.

Sunset Shimmer waited patiently for Princess Celestia it felt like forever since she had last seen her since she had betrayed her and escaped to the other world for power and revenge. Trumpets were heard as a pegasus stated Princess Celestia's arrival. Sunset Shimmer bowed as the princess made her way to her throne and sat down.
"Sunset Shimmer!" Princess Celestia said Sunset gasped as she thought the worst was yet to come.

"From this day forth you shall be my pupil and study magic and grow stronger every day when the time comes for you you shall learn how to live in royalty. " Princess Celestia said as a wagon was heard from behind.
I glanced back and saw what looked liked a dragon's egg. Princess Celestia then cracked it opened and revealed yet a familiar sleeping purple and green scaled dragon."Your first assignment is to raise this dragon he will become helpful in the future but first he needs a name. I'll leave the naming process up to you." Princess Celestia said.

She dismissed Sunset Shimmer and the baby dragon. The two were then assigned to Canterlot Library. Sunset Shimmer smiled as she saw the baby dragon waking up but then it started to cry as if it knew something was wrong. Sunset levitated the dragon in her hooves .

"Shhh I know Spike. I thought that was you. We need to find Twilight and get back to the present. Don't worry. We will fix time! Starlight Glimmer will pay for this!"

Twilight Sparkle and Sunset Shimmer has just realized that time has been reversed!
