Chapter two: Fluttershy
Firestar woke up to find himself in an unfamiliar forest with unfamiliar scents. He looked around to find that only two other cats were awake while the other cats were still knocked out from going through the portal. Firestar immediately recognized Sandstorm and Blackstar.
“Sandstorm! Thank Starclan you’re okay!” Firestar said as he padded over to Sandstorm and nuzzled her.
“Firestar, do you have any idea where we are?” Blackstar asked.
“No, but as soon as every one wakes up, we need to set up a camp. For now, we should hunt for the clans. Blackstar, stay here so you can tell the cats where we are so they don’t worry… Or accuse us of abandoning them.” Firestar said.
Firestar and Sandstorm padded away silently. As they were hunting, they spotted something yellow out of the corner of their eye. The yellow thing was saying something… And they understood.
“Okay Mr. Duck, your wing is all fixed up. You can fly away now!” The yellow thing said.
“What is that thing?” Sandstorm asked.
“I don’t know, lets follow it. Hopefully it won’t catch our scent.” Firestar suggested.
The two cats silently followed the yellow bird-horse thing through the forest. It was a short trip. They arrives at place that looked like a twoleg nest, but there were no twolegs around. Only the yellow four legged bird-horse thing… And animals everywhere! The fourleg was feeding them.
“They’re like kittypets, except they’re not cats. They are just… Pets.” Sandstorm said and a little white bunny made his way toward them.
“How did this rabbit find us?” Firestar asked.
“I don’t know, but it brought the fourleg here” Sandstorm hissed.
“Oh, hi there little kitties. Are you lost?” The fourleg asked.
“Run!” Firestar said.
“Wait! No! Stop! I’m friendly!” The fourleg said as it flew as landed in front of them. “Please don’t be scared! Are you hungry? I have food.” The fourleg offered.
“Do you understand us?” Firestar asked.
“Of course I do! I know how to talk to animals because I take care of them.” The fourleg said. “Oh! And by the way, my name is Fluttershy.”
“Fluttershy? What a bizarre name. What does it mean anyway?” Sandstorm asked. “For example, Firestar got his name for his flame colored pelt and I got my name for my sand colored pelt. What does yours stand for?”
“Oh, well, I guess it’s because I could be a little shy at times… Well actually all the time. Except for when I’m around animals though. And the name ‘Fluttershy’ also rhymes with butterfly which is my cutiemark.” Fluttershy answered.
“Cutiemark? What’s a cutiemark?” Sandstorm questoined.
“A cutiemark represents who you are or your special talent. I got mine for my love for animals. Although, I don’t know why my cutiemark are butterflies. Maybe because they were the first creatures I saw when I fell from Cloudsdale”
“About earlier, did you say you had food? We could a lot of that right now.” Firestar mewed.
“Of course! I have lots of food for cats.” Fluttershy answered.
“Hold on a second, we’ll be right back” Firestar said as he and Sandstorm dashed back to the other cats. By the time they got back all the cat were awake. Firestar spoke loudly so everyone could hear him.
“Cats of the clans, Sandstorm and I have encountered a weird yellow four legged creature nearby! Apparently, she can understand us. She said she has food for us but this could be a trap. So if it is a trap, we are sting enough to fight her, but if it’s not a trap then we’ll eat of course!” Firestar announced.
Most of the cats seemed unsure, but they knew he was right. The cats ran behind Firestar and Sandstorm all the way to Fluttershy’s ‘camp’ as they would call it. When the cats arrived they hid behind a bush.
“Okay, everyone stay here until I give the signal. Sandstorm, come with me.” Firestar commanded as Sandstorm followed him out. Firestar padded into the garden of animals. Firestar yowled and before they knew it, Fluttershy flew and landed in front of them.
“Welcome back!” Fluttershy exclaimed, clearly excited to see them again. Firestar and Sandstorm dipped their heads in greeting.
“Hello Fluttershy. I believe earlier you said you have a lot of food for cats.” Firestar said.
“Why of course I do. You two need to eat, you’re as skinny as a twig.” Fluttershy said in worry.
“It’s not just the two us.” Sandstorm said as Firestar flicked his tail, signaling the other clans to come out of the bush.
Fluttershy froze and her jaws dropped at the sight. Her eyes went wide. There were so many cats.
Chapter three: Catnapped!
Fluttershy’s shocked face quickly changed to an excited-shocked face. After all, why wouldn’t she be excited. There were four clans of cute kitties in front of her! Firestar on the other ‘paw’ wasn’t going to let the clan starve any longer than they have to.
“Fluttershy, we came here to eat and I believe you said that you have a lot of food.” Firestar said.
“Oh! Yes, I have enough for all of you. Follow me into my cottage.” Fluttershy said after snapping out of her shocked state.
As the cat followed Fluttershy into her cottage, Firestar noticed how much the place looked like a twoleg nest. Firestar felt a little uncomfortable. Firestar noticed Cloudtail also felling a little uncomfortable. Firestar noticed all the prey running around everywhere looking curiously at the huge gang of cats. Firestar wondered why they weren’t running. They’re prey, they should be running from the hunters.
“Here you go!” Fluttershy said as she put a HUGE bowl in the middle of the room. Leopardstar padded up to the bowl and looked at it curiously as she sniffed it. Firestar did the same. This wasn’t fresh kill. This was kittypet food!
“How dare you feed us such poisonous food.” Leopard hissed. Fluttershy was confused.
“What do you mean?” Fluttershy asked.
“We don’t eat this, we eat prey.” Firestar said calmly.
“What!?” Fluttershy nearly shouted. “But this doesn’t make sense. You’re all cats, you shouldn’t eat other animals. You all should eat this cat food.”
“That’s it! We’re not eating this!” Leopardstar hissed. There were yowls of agreement in the back behind her.
“I think it’s best we get going” Tallstar suggested.
As the cats got back to where they woke up, they decided to start making a camp. They pulled up branches and moss, bramble and gorse and pretty much everything else they need to make a camp. Everything got done by sunset. There were for the warriors, apprentices, elders, and the nursery. All the medicine cats shared a den big enough for all of them, and all the clan leaders shared a den in a big rock which was big enough for them to fit in. The fresh kill pile was full of prey thanks to the large hunting parties. The hunting parties even brought different berries and herbs for the medicine cats. Firestar and the other three clan leaders jumped on top of the new Highrock.
“Cats of River, Thunder, Shadow, and Windclan! We have worked hard to make this camp today and you all need to rest.” Tallstar announced. Longtail shouted from the crowd.
“How long are we goin to live with each other? Shouldn’t we be looking for territory so we live like we did before?”
“This is only temporary. We will go back to our old ways when Starclan decides that it’s time for us to go back.” Tallstar said.
“Anyway, lets eat and rest. We will have dawn patrols tomorrow. Those who are patrolling tomorrow, be careful. I get the feeling that Fluttershy is just a twoleg on four legs. So if there just so happens to be other like her, they are called fourlegs. Who knows, maybe they’ll try to take us as their kittypets ” Firestar announced.
The leaders dismissed the cats and they all went to eat. Firestar picked up a plump mouse and went to spend his time with Sandstorm who was eating a magpie. Soon after dinner, the cats went to there dens to rest.
The next morning, Firestar woke up to the four clan deputies telling the dawn patrol where to patrol. Firestar got up and padder over to Greystripe.
“Good morning Greystripe.” Firestar greeted as he went to get some fresh kill for breakfast.
“Morning Firestar!” Greystripe said as he dipped his head in a greeting.
“Hey, Greystripe. I’m going to explore for a little bit so I could get to know the place a little more. So if anyone asks where I am tell them I’m exploring.” Firestar said.
“Sure, no problem.” Greystripe said as Firestar padded away into the forest.
As Firestar was walking, he came across a huge place. It was full of fourleg nests! He caught the scent of a rabbit and looked to see where it was. It was near fourleg nest. Firestar saw no fourlegs around so he crouched down to hunt the rabbit. All of a sudden, a fourleg came out of it’s nest. This wasn’t the yellow and pink fourleg from earlier. This one was white and purple. Not only that, this one didn’t have wings. It had something coming out of it’s head. It’s cutiemark wasn’t three butterflies, it was three blue thing. What were those blue thing. The fourleg seemed to have said something but Firestar couldn’t understand. Before Firestar knew it, he couldn’t feel the ground. He looked down to see that he wasn’t on the ground, he was in the air! Frightened, Firestar tried to run away but he realized that he couldn’t. He was stuck. He saw the thing on the fourleg’s head glowing, then he looked at himself to find that he was glowing too.
The fourleg brought Firestar inside the it’s nest. The fourleg put him in a big white thing… Full of water! The fourleg put him in the white thing and started rubbing him with a squishy yellow thing with weird gooey stuff on it. Turns out, the more you rub it on something, the more clear balls it makes that disappear when you touch it. The fourleg took him out and rubbed something else on him that seemed to take off most of the water off his fur. Then the fourleg gave him food. Once again, it was kittypet food. Firestar simply refused to eat it.
“You should be grateful for what you have.” Said a voice from somewhere behind him. Firestar turned around to see another cat. She was a female white cat with a collar. A kittypet.
“Who are you?” Firestar ask.
“Oh, where are my manners? Oh wait, I don’t have any. Anyway, my name is Opal. What’s yours?” Opal asked.
“My name is Firestar.” Firestar answered.
“Wrong. According to Rarity, your name is Prince.” Opal corrected.
“Rarity? Whose Rarity?” Firestar asked.
“Rarity is the one who brought you here and blessed your skinny body with food and washed you so you can be clean, ya stupid fur ball.” Opal answered. “Oh look, she’s coming right now.”
Firestar turned around to see Rarity walking over to him. The stick on her head was glowing again and so was a collar that was coming towards him. It opened by itself, wrapped around him and closed itself. Then it stopped glowing.
“See? Told you. Your collar says ‘Prince’ which means that’s your new name.” Opal said.
“Wait… This is for kittypets! I can’t were this, I’m a forest cat! I can’t be here, I need to get out.” Firestar was freaking out. He remembered back to when he was six moons old and how he left the safety of his old home with the twolegs and into the forest where he loved his new life, but now… He was goning back into the life that he hoped he would never have to live in again. “Opal, do you know a way out of here?”
“Yeah. But I don’t see why you have to leave here. Life is easier here than in the forest.” Opal answered.
“Your right, life is easier here. But I have a clan in the forest that need me because I am their leader.” Firestar said.
“I see. Well on hot days like this, there are usually hot nights. Rarity always leaves the window open on hot nights. I could sneak you out through there. There’s a tree by the window. Just jump onto the tree and climb down to the ground. I’ll help you get back to the forest since you’re probably to dumb to remember where it is from here.” Opal informed him. “But for now, eat while you still can.”
“Alright, thanks Opal.” Firestar thanked.
“Firestar’s been gone since this morning, but now it’s sunset! Where is he? He needs to be here with the clans.” Longtail complained.
“I don’t know. He told me that was exploring, but we can go search for him. Longtail, gather up two more warriors and we’ll follow his scent trail.” Greystripe answered as Longtail went to get Dustpelt and Sandstorm.
The four cats followed Firestar’s scent trail which lead them all the way to a place full of fourleg nests. They quietly and cautiously followed the scent trail up to a fourleg nest.
“He was taken by a fourleg!” Greystripe said.
“That’s it! This means war! We must get rid of these fourlegs. They’re a threat to us! They must die!” Dustpelt said. The other three cats agreed and ran back to camp to tell the other clans what happened and what they were planning.
Chapter one: Starclan's portal
It's been almost three moon since the battle at Fourtrees with Scourge and it was the night before the Gathering. However, ever since that battle, the clan have been to weak to attend the gatherings. Even now, the cats have regained their strength but they became to lazy to go. Eventually, all the clans stopped going, even Thunderclan (even thought they are extremely loyal to the warrior code.) stopped attending the gatherings. The reason for that was because all the other clan stopped going and Thunderclan won't show up for no reason.
Firestar curled up in his den on the moss he slept on as he slowly drifted off to sleep to the dream world. This dream wasn't like most of his other dreams. He looked around at his surroundings. He was at Fourtrees, with the other clan leaders and their medicine cats. Firestar looked around for Cinderplet but her didn't find her. 'She's not asleep yet.' Firestar thought. 'Oh wait, there she is' Firestar spotted Tallstar walking up to him.
"Firestar, do you know what's happening?" Tallstar asked.
"I'll tell you what's happening." All the clan leader and their medicine cats turned to see the cats of Starclan with SIlverpelt at the very front. "You are all in a dream, the same dream. Starclan has called you all here to let you know that you have not been attending the Gatherings, even after your strength has returned. We expect to see you at the gathering tomorrow night. Tomorrow night, bring your entireclan, even the kits. No 'ands' 'ifs' or 'buts'! If you do not attend tomorrow's Gathering, we shall unleash a great sickness to the clan that doesn't attend. You may all wake up now." Silverpelt announced.
Firestar woke up that morning with a gasp. Almost right away, Cinderpelt ran into his den.
"Did you see Starclan in your dream?" Cinderpelt asked.
"Yes. And they made it very clear that we should attend the Gathering tonight." Firestar said.
That night, Firestar gathered up his clan and they all went to Fourtrees. When they arrived, they immediately started the Gathering but before anyone could speak, Silverpelt came down from the sky! All the cats were stunned. Silverpelt was here! SIlverpelt jumped onto Greatrock.
"Cats of Windclan, Shadowclan, Thunderclan, and Riverclan! I have come down from Starclan to remind you of the Warrior code. For three moons, no clan has attended the Gatherings. So it is time you all learn a lesson! You will all start over in another, unfamiliar, world called Equestria!" Silverpelt announced as he flew up back to Starclan. All of a sudden, the ground began to shake and the ground started breaking beneath them and a big colorful glowing circle formed underneath them as all the cats fell through the portal of colors.
