It was morning in Ponyville. The sun was shining, birds were chirping, and all was quiet and peaceful. Suddenly, the peace was shattered by two alarms going off.

"Mmph. One more minute." Button Mash was half asleep, and hated getting up in the morning. "Just SHUT UP!!!" he yelled, smashing the clock with his hoof. He succeeded in turning it off, but another alarm was going off downstairs. "Seriously? What is that?!" Button headed downstairs, and found the kitchen full of smoke. "What...Cough...is going on...Cough cough," he managed to choke out.

Sweetie Belle replied with; "Just cooking some breakfast!"

Rarity stumbled downstairs. "Sweetie Belle, I thought I told you not to cook! You remember the last time this happened!"

Sweetie was taken aback. "But look, I actually made the juice this time!" She held up a glass of orange juice. "See?"

"Well, drink your juice, it's time for school!" Rarity said brightly.

Sweetie handed another glass to Button. "Here!" she said. "It's good!"

Button took his glass, and downed it in one gulp. Sweetie did the same, and they ran outside towards school. "I wish Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon would be nice for once," Button said wistfully.

They made in the door just as the bell rang, and took their seats. Cheerilie started their lesson.

Time passed. The class was bored. Button was playing video games in his head. Scootaloo was banging her head on the desk. Applebloom was thinking about Granny Smith's pies, and Sweetie Belle was thinking about crusades to do after school. "So, if we carry the two into the hundreds place, you can see that we end up with three hundred and seventy-two. Any questions?" Cheerilie finished up the math lesson, and the bell rang. "Class dismissed!" The CMC ran out the door, and headed to their clubhouse. Before they got there, however, they were cut off by none other than Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon.

"Where are you going, blank flank losers?" Diamond said. Silver Spoon mocked them, saying; "Oh, we're just off to fail at getting our cutie marks, and stay blank flanks FOREVER!!!"

Both Scootaloo and Button had been getting visibly angrier at this, and had to be held back by their friends. Scootaloo screamed; "Come on, just one little punch for each of them!", while Button was cursing at them in Humgonian.

"(Translation) You miserable, slimy, little WRETCHES! I will personally destroy you, and rip your bucking bodies to shreds!" Button yelled. He was glad that they couldn't understand him, or he would be suspended for sure, and worse, get every video game he owned taken away by his mom!

Applebloom tried to calm Scoots down. "Come on, let's just leave!" Sweetie said much the same things.

Luckily for them, Applejack came by. "Hey you, stop bullying my li'l sis and her friends!"

DT was shaken at being treated like this by an adult. "C...Come on Silv...Silver!" Both bullies ran off.

As soon as they were gone, Applejack turned to them. "Are y'all okay?"

Everypony was happy that AJ came along, otherwise things might have gotten much worse for them. Applebloom said; "We're okay, thanks sis!" And with that, the Cutie Mark Crusaders trotted off to their clubhouse.
