The two fillies soon became best friends. as they grew to tweens they were into video games and Lightningshy didn't get it but Cotton Flower taught him. Soon he got it and was trying to beat her but no matter how hard he tried she always beat him. As teens they played the same games but one night Lightningshy wanted to talk after a round of Mario Cart. "Hey, um Cotton Flower I just wanted to ask if you wanted to  date?" he asked but still knew he was gonna get rejected. "Yes!" Cotton responded. It was then they knew it was true love. They both qualified for the same college.  they shared a dorm together, for once Lightingshy won against Cotton. Not to long after that Lightingshy purposed. she hesitated for bit and began to cry tears of joy and said "Yes!". As Cotton's tears of joy ran down her face LightingShy wiped it away as he held her. after another year of college they got married.
