No pony knew what Sombra was like. All they really knew was that he was a tyrant king of the Crystal Empire. None really cared his personal life. But when Twilight comes across a vague reference to a special somepony in his life, she makes it her mission to find this secret part of his life out. When she arrives in the Crystal Empire, the only place with any information on him, she locks herself in her room, dedicated to finding this secret. When she comes out a week later, she is shaken, and refuses to engage in long talks with the other princesses. What caused this, and, more importantly, can a sin unknowingly committed by one but sanctioned by another be forgiven.
