Intro Just so I can submit and tell you what to expect.
Okay this is a groups of journals of New Lunar Republic soldiers or NLR. Celestia has become a tyrant and a murderer and Princess Luna could not stand by and watch the ponies of Equestria get slaughtered by a pony that was supposed to protect them. Thus the New Lunar Republic was born. Hard to think that celestia did this. I mean she was nice at first and then everything seemed to change instantly. Guards were forcing people out of homes and jailing them for no reason other than just being alive and well. Then the guards took over the homes or did things that I do not wish to mention and will try to keep out of this collection. Let's just say some mares or stallions never were the same after it and that they were broken and crying on the streets. Sometimes the guards would come after you for just sitting down at a table meant for Celestia and even if you told them you didn't know they would still either arrest you or kill you right there. Or Celestia would have her fun and listen to you scream while you were whipped right in front of her all the while going on as if nothing happened. When this war ends she will have a lot to answer for and no one will come to her defense for the crimes she has comitted against all of us.
This group of journals is for those soldiers who have died in the hopes of a better tomorrow and for the freedom of an entire race. The New Lunar Republic soldiers are highly trained and ready at a moments notice so sort of like Marines except without guns or anything...a pony with a gun now there is a weird thought. Now as I said these are journals so don't expect a lot of words per chapter since these are simply the last words written by each warrior before they died. With each journal there will be a record of how they died, where, and if the battle was a victory or defeat. Any word highlighted in red will be the outcome so if Victory is red then the New Lunar Republic won the fight if it Defeat is red then it mean the New Lunar Republic lost the battle. The journals wont be long so you wont get bored reading them and will be about five hundred words at most unless there is an entry by an important figure in the NLR military or Princess Luna herself. I am hoping you will watch as I hopefully grow this group of journals into the stories of those fallen and into a document of true heroes when times got dark. Who ever reads this then thank you for doing so and thank you for being even slightly interested in it. It'll be hard to write all these but I will do my best to make them even if my mind is blank and empty. I want you to enjoy the last journals of these brave warriors and rejoice in the fact that Equstria will one day be free, happy, and over flowed with rewards and bounties of wheat, carrots, and apples. I mean who doesn't like the apples from Sweet Apple Acers. I know I love them ... but enough of that I got off track again and I am hungry. I think we are having hay bacon sandwiches today in the mess hall. BUCK! I got off topic again. I am going to finish this before I get so hungry I eat the paper I'm writing on.
While these journals may not seem like much, I know they will mean the world to the families that stand with us to know that their sons died with honor and courage instead of the coward and destructive nature of a so called Solar "Guard".
Since I am trying to make this a journal thing for imaginary ponies I would like some help to come up with names and who they were or what they did in the NLRAF or New Lunar Republic Armed Forces. So any ideas will be helpful and nice in order to continue this group of journals. It might not be the most popular thing to read but I have always liked Luna but not in a weird way and I stand beside her in this war as not only a willing warriors but a keeper of records for those who fell. I know my time will come and I will die as well but until then I will keep the memory of these soldiers alive and hopefuly when I die someone else will take up the mantle and carry on with my work.
This war will be bloody and fierce, a war no one has seen in close to a thousand years. One things is for certain, when the dust settles only one side will walk away from this conflict alive and it will be that faction that chooses what the future of Equstria will be like in the next Era. Will we be ruled by the tyrant Celestia or will we be free and ruled by a just ruler like Luna?
Now is not the time for being uncertain of which side to choose or if you are to remain nuetral. There is no nuetral for if you are not with Celestia then she will kill you unless you stand with us. These are dark times but there is a light at the end of the tunnel and hopefully you will see it when this war ends instead of slaving away in a field for the rest of your life while your children are used or turned into whatever the Solar Empire wants them to be.
Now tell me who do you stand with and who would you die for? A tyrant who will turn on you? Or a ruler who will cherish what you have done to protect the innocent. Luna is a wonderful pony and a kind leader who will rule over us with a kind heart but a just hoof. When Luna rules there will be no famine, blood shed, or war. We will be at peace and our enemies will know our might, hear our battle cry, and respect our country.
I will stand with Luna forever and even in death I will do my best to serve her for she is my princess and my ruler.

The Journal of PFC Dark Angel
Well I made it out of basic alive and well even though sometimes it was Hell it self I made it. I am now a proud memember and soldier of the New Lunar Republic. I get shipped out tomorrow for duty on the frontlines down in Staliongrad. It's our first combat engagment and I hope I make my parents proud but then again they are against me joining the New Lunar Republic anyways. When I heard of what "Princess" Celestia was doing I didn't want to stay any longer and I left to create a new life in a small town in the mountains near griffin territory...that was until Celestia came and started exicuting people just for being there and not sending supplies to the army when the town could barely feed it self.
No one was spared. Women, children, the elderly, and innocent were cut down. I was to be killed next until a detachment of NLRA or New Lunar Republic Army came in and saved us even though they were almost destroyed. I admired them and they're will to fight even thought they might die just to save some random ponies they didn't know. Celestia was angry but with her troops out numbered and her slightly injured, she had to retreat. I joined and went through three months of training and survived. I will prove to everyone that I am a great fighter and that we will win this war.
