Pinkie Pie had just gotten back from Fluttershy’s and it was late. Almost time to go to sleep. She decided that before she did, she would check her bucket list so she could start marking things off tomorrow. She read the first item aloud to herself. “Number One: Kiss all of my friends on the lips.” She said to herself. She looked at all her friends names right beneath the action.

She was extremely excited to get started, but she would just have to wait until tomorrow. She had thought about a lot of things of the walk to and from Fluttershy’s house and she decided that she wasn’t going to tell any of her friends about her bucket list until it was complete. She tried to calm herself down so she would be able to get to sleep, so she put the list back inside her book and walked over to her bed.

She patted Gummy on the head gently, but he didn’t react at all. She kicked off her shoes and hopped into her bed. She snuggled her face into her pillow, not bothering to cover herself with the blanket and she quickly fell asleep.

Pinkie Pie woke up the next morning full energy. She was determined to get the first item on her bucket list done today. She went into her closet and changed clothes. She pulled on pink tank top with three balloons on it and regular jeans. She slipped on some tennis shoes and walked over to her desk.

She pulled the list out of her book, read it over one more time, and then she folded it up, stuffed into her back pocket. She knew the Cakes wouldn’t need her at work today, so she had plenty of time to do what she needed to. She put her curly, pink hair into a messy pony tail and stuck the pencil in it so she could mark off her friend’s names.

Once she was satisfied and ready to leave, she skipped out of her room after saying goodbye to Gummy. She began walking around Ponyville, looking for one of her friends. She spotted Rainbow Dash walking around and jogged over to her.

“Rainbow Dash!” Pinkie called.

Rainbow Dash turned around and when she saw Pinkie she waved. “Hi, Pinkie.” She said. “What’s up?”

“There’s something I wanted to tell you.” Pinkie said when she caught up to Rainbow Dash. She was slightly out of breath, but still able to talk perfectly fine.

“What is it?” Rainbow Dash asked.

Pinkie Pie stood on her tip toes and planted a quick peck on Rainbow Dash’s lips. Rainbow Dash blinked and looked at Pinkie. “Pinkie, are you sick?” She asked. Rainbow Dash knew that Pinkie was a little bit crazy, but she had never done anything like that before.

“No, I’m fine.” Pinkie chirped happily. “Bye!” She said as she walked away.

Rainbow Dash watched her as she walked away, a little confused and a little worried. She figured that Pinkie Pie was just being Pinkie Pie, so she ignored it and continued on her way.

Pinkie pulled out her list and pulled the pencil out of her hair. She marked off Rainbow Dash. “Now… Who next?” She asked herself, looking at the names on her list. She looked up to see where she was in Ponyville and she spotted the library close by. She decided Twilight would be next and she put away the list and skipped all the way to the library.

She knocked on the door a few times and stood patiently while waiting for Twilight or Spike to answer. Twilight opened the door. “Pinkie! Hi!” She shouted, surprised.

“Hi Twilight.” Pinkie said. “Twilight, please don’t take this the wrong way, but…” Pinkie paused and leaned in towards Twilight, kissing her. She pulled back and Twilight stared at her, seeming to be lost in thought. Her face became red in color and she gasped put her hand over her mouth.

“Pinkie, what-?” Twilight started.

“I have to go now, Twilight.” Pinkie said. Twilight didn’t say anything as she watched Pinkie walk away. Once Pinkie was out of Twilight’s line of sight, she pulled out her list and marked out Twilight’s name. “Now….” She said looking up from the list. “Rarity.”

She had seen the Carousel Boutique in front of her and she put the list up and began walking calmly towards the Boutique. Since it was technically a store, she didn’t have to knock on the door and she just walked right in.

“Welcome to the Carousel Boutique, how can I help- Oh! Pinkie! Lovely to see you darling.” Rarity said, skipping happily over to Pinkie.

“Hi, Rarity.” Pinkie said. Rarity came in to give Pinkie a kiss on each of her kiss like she did when she was excited. Pinkie turned her head and instead of kissing her cheek, Rarity kissed Pinkie’s lips. Pinkie kissed her back and Rarity pulled away quickly.

“Oh, I’m terribly sorry, darling.” Rarity apologized, slightly embarrassed.

“It’s fine!” Pinkie said happily. “But, I’m afraid I have to go now, I’m sorry.” Pinkie said, exiting the Boutique.

“Ummm, alright. Bye.” Rarity said a little awkwardly, waving to Pinkie as she left. Pinkie giggled to herself, a little surprised that she already had half of the first item on her list completed so quickly. She pulled out the list and crossed off Rarity’s name.

“All I have left is Applejack and Fluttershy. Easy as pie.” She said, putting the list away and sticking the pencil back in her hair. She figured she would go to Sweet Apple Acres first to see Applejack. As she made the long walk to Sweet Apple Acres, she wondered why she didn’t kiss Fluttershy yesterday while she was helping her out.

“Oh well, it’s too late now.” Pinkie said. “I’ll just tell her I think I left something there and then I’ll kiss her and leave. Simple as that.” Pinkie was speaking out loud to herself, and she was lucky that no one else was around to hear her ramble on.

Eventually, she got to Sweet Apple Acres and she searched around for Applejack. She spotted Big Macintosh and waved at him. He waved back with a shy smile and then got back to his work. Pinkie Pie figured that Applejack might be inside or in the barn, so she went to check the barn.

Applejack was sitting on a bale of hay, wiping sweat off her forehead. “Hi, Applejack!” Pinkie called happily.

“Oh, well howdy Pinkie, Ah didn’t see ya there.” Applejack said, offering Pinkie a smile. Pinkie smiled back and walked over to Applejack, sitting down on the hay bale next to her. “How are ya doin’?” Applejack asked.

“Fantasterrific!” Pinkie replied happily. Applejack let out a soft chuckle. “What about you?” She asked.

“I’ve been just fine.” Applejack answered. Applejack turned her head to look at Pinkie and Pinkie took this as her chance. She jumped forward and kissed Applejack.

“What the hay Pinkie!?!?” Applejack yelled, jumping off the hay bale. “What was that fer?” She asked. Pinkie knew she wasn’t angry because she saw a little blush creeping onto her face.

“No reason.” Pinkie said, she stood up and wiped the hay from the hay bale off her butt. “I have to leave now. I’ll see you later!” Pinkie said happily. She waved goodbye to Applejack and then left the barn and Sweet Apple Acres.

Once she had left Sweet Apple Acres she pulled out the list and marked off Applejack. “Now there’s only Fluttershy and I’ll be done for the day.” Pinkie said to herself. The smile on her face was unbreakable and nothing could bring her down now. She would write this in her diary when she got home that day. And she would write down in her diary every day she completed something on her list. She skipped happily to Fluttershy’s to fulfil her number one item on her list.

Pinkie suddenly thought of a great way to get Fluttershy to kiss her. She giggled and kept it in her head, repeating it over and over again so she wouldn’t forget. When she finally made it to Fluttershy’s she had to hold in her laughter so she didn’t give anything away.

She knocked on Fluttershy’s door and a minute later Fluttershy answered. She poked her head out of the door nervously. “Hello? Oh, Pinkie Pie. Hi.” She opened to door wider and let Pinkie come inside.

“Hi, Fluttershy.” Pinkie Pie said, pretending to act nervous.

“Pinkie, is something wrong?” Fluttershy asked.

“Well, it’s just…. No, never mind.” Pinkie cut herself off.

“Oh, please tell me.” Fluttershy begged. “I mean… You know….. If you want to…” She hid her face with her hair in embarrassment.

“Well, I wrote in my diary last night that I was going to kiss you today.” Pinkie said. “So… I was wondering… Will you kiss me? Or and I going to have to lie to my diary?” She asked.

Fluttershy blushed nervously. “Well umm…. I wouldn’t want you to have to lie to your diary…” Fluttershy said.

Pinkie smiled, but she made sure not to smile too big. “Thank you, Fluttershy.” She said.

Fluttershy took a deep breath and a step closer to Pinkie Pie. They were about the same height, so they were eye to eye, and nose to nose, and mouth to mouth. Fluttershy closed her eyes and slowly leaned forward. Pinkie closed her eyes as well and leaned in to kiss Fluttershy. It only lasted a few seconds, and Fluttershy was the one who pulled away.

She was blushing hard, almost her entire face was as red as apples. “Thank you, now I don’t have to lie to my diary.” Pinkie said, smiling slightly. Fluttershy smiled back nervously. Pinkie then turned around and left. She skipped happily all the way back home and she crossed Fluttershy off underneath number one and she checked the box next to it.

She squealed happily and then she pulled out her diary, and she wrote down all of her accomplishments for the day. Once she had done all that, she went downstairs to the shop, it was still early and she would be able to help the Cakes out for the rest of the day. She wore the biggest smile on her face for the rest of the day, and when she went to bed, she was still grinning from ear to ear.

She couldn’t wait for tomorrow. Tomorrow was a Saturday, so she didn’t have to work, and neither did her friends. She was so excited that she couldn’t get to sleep. Though her excitement wore off, and exhaustion kicked in eventually and she fell asleep.
