Everypony would find this night enjoyable. but one pony in peticular was not enjoying the night.that was the princess of the night herself. Luna was walking around the royal gardens with her head down. She would wobble a bit,and as warm as the night was she would shiver and not because she felt cold or was scared,tears were coming down her muzzle,obviously she was not happy. "why..why me,why always me?" Luna sat by a tree and sobbed not caring if anyone heard because she knew no one did or cared if she cried to them she's the end of the black hole....never seen. While she was crying she heard some rustling in the bushes but paid it no mind,but the rustling got louder and her ears perked up trying to locate the sound. "Luna is that you?" Luna located the voice to be in the tree she's sitting under. "yes it's me discord." Discord came out of the tree and sat next to luna and looked at her. "Are you ok you don't seem happy?" Luna still didn't look up and when she spoke it was muffled by her hooves covering her face. "I'm fine discord just leave me be." discord took his lion paw and lifted luna's head to meet his. her eyes were puffy and red with tears still threatening to fall, her cheeks were stained with previous tears her expression was shocked,she didn't expect discord to do that. When she looked at discord she can see his face was full of concern,and she questioned why he would be concerned about a pony who tried to plunge equestria in eternal darkness twice,a pony who almost killed her sister and one of the ponies who encased him in stone for 1000 years. "Come on Luna tell me whats wrong." Luna turned away and sighed. "Why do you care about what troubles a pony like me discord?" discord thought she would say that. "because luna we have been friends for many years ,and when I had struggles you helped me,now let me help you."Discord gave her a reassuring smile. Luna sighed,she didn't want to tell discord but she thought that maybe he could help...or not. "fine I'll tell you what's wrong," discord looked at her with a warm smile and Luna can sense his patience, "i've been getting death threats from some of  the ponies." Discord would have spit out his chocolate milk if he had any.           "WHAT! Why would anypony do such a thing to you if anything it should be me after all I've done." Luna looked back down,she shook her head and tears were threatening to fall from her eyes. "Luna please don't cry please,I don't like it when you do." Luna smiled a bit.            "Ok I'll try not to cry." Discord smiled.            "Good,anyways you should tell celestia,because no one should be so cruel to someone as beautiful and sweet as you." Just as discord said that he's slammed his paw and claw on his mouth.            Luna's head shot up and had a confused  face but was smiling.            "Dis-discord what did you say just now?" Discord scratched the back of his neck,and blushed. "I said no one should be so cruel to someone who is as beautiful and sweet as you." Luna started to blush along with discord. "Th-thank you discord,I usually don't get much compliments." Discord looked shocked at this "What! that's ridiculous I mean look at you! you have such a sweet disposition to all of your subjects but you can be shy around ponies in canterlot,you help the chef's with food not for only you and your sister but for the guards too,you're very beautiful,and you have a beautiful voice it's almost like you can be a singer.." Luna blushed at the first bit but her jaw fell when he talked about her being a singer which was entirely true. "how did you find out discord?!" discord started to laugh because Luna looked like she just saw a zompony. "well I was going to the mare of music/Nicki Minaj's concert and saw you on stage singing Va Va Voom (Well there had to be a Nicki Minaj in mlp and Luna is a great candidate don't you think.) ,I was shocked at first and the next thing I know I was  cheering and smiling." Luna started to smile warmly. discord stared into her eyes and just stared like he was in a trance. "Um discord?" "Your eyes are so beautiful," Luna's cheek's turned  cherry red "Anyway what are we going to about your predicament ?...I know,you can live with me for a while!" Luna doesn't know why but a part of her told her to go with him. "But what about my sister she will surely be worried?" Discord smiled because he knew Luna was going to say yes if that question was answered. "Well You can write her a note saying you'll be gone for a few weeks on official business."A sly smile played itself onto Luna's lips. "Before I agree to this, why did you pick your house  out of all places?"Discord blushed yet again. "Well Truth is I actually really like you and I thought that would let us spend sometime together,I know you might not feel the same way but-." Luna pulled him in and gave him a passionate kiss on the lips.Discord felt butterflies in his stomach as did Luna. The kiss lasted for about 10 seconds. discord and Luna both blushed and turned their head away. "I like you to discord I felt like you're the only one who gets me and you always knew how to make me smile."Discords face lit up "That's exactly how I feel! on that note will you be my mare friend and take refuge at my house for a few weeks?" Luna laughed because he gave her puppy dog eyes but he knew they didn't beat luna's though. "Yes,and yes." discord was grinning ear to ear and started to jump up and down saying yes,that made Luna laugh...hard."Well I better get to writing that note." discord nodded. "Here I'll give you the things you need to write with." Discord snapped his fingers and a scroll ink and pen appeared in front of Luna.And Luna levitated the pen. "Thank you discord."It literally only took her 30 seconds to finish the letter. "can you read it out loud lulu?"Luna nodded and started reading "Tia I'm away on official business and won't be back for a couple of weeks,so if you do not see me in my room I have already left for I have to be there early. I love you and I will miss you dearly your sister Luna." "That's perfect! I never new you were good in the art of trickery."Luna smirked "I have more tricks of my sleeve,I could have told her that you were planning to take over equestria and If I came willingly you'd leave them alone and they cannot come visit because that would break the deal and you would wreak havoc on equestria." "where do you come up with these evil thoughts?!" Luna smiled evilly closed her eyes and opened them to reveal the eyes of nightmare moon. "1000 years on the moon gave me a lot of time to think and hours sitting in my room." she closed her eyes again and opened them to reveal her normal eyes.Discord paid no mind to that because Luna did that often but never to celestia. "well I'll put it on your bed and we'll be on our way." "ok just make sure Tia isn't up." So discord flew up to her room and placed the scroll on her bed,and flew back down to Luna. "Ready to go?" "yeah." and with a snap of discords fingers they were gone.
