A slithery demise

A spoon for desert

Previous Chapter

"D-diamond? T-this isn't funny.... If it's a joke...". Silver's voice shook with imminent fear. What had happened to her friend? She hadn't really liked her... But she didn't want her to get hurt.

All that could be heard to confirm Diamond tiara's presence now, was a gurgling in the snake's stomach, which indicated digestion... Diamond was still laying on the silken pillow of flesh that was the stomach's bottom, unhurriedly wasting away. Burning bubbles tingled around the acid, creating a humid climate and heating the damp pool, starting to slowly wear away Diamond's fur. Despite this, she still stayed in a deep, entranced sleep. The snake bulged with her shape, but that didn't affect the rate or noise of its slithering. It came down from the tree, right behind Silver spoon...

"Hm?". She turned around as she had heard a noise. She squealed in terror as she saw the snake. She tried to run, but the snake had already coiled its tail around her middle, slightly squishing into it for security. She struggled and kicked wildly, noticing the bulge in its stomach. "Diamond!", she cried in shock. She couldn't believe it had eaten her! She struggled harder, tears running down her cheeks. The snake was not going to waste any more time. He wasn't going to let his desert get away... It hissed as it calmly put its face up to her's. Its eyes began to pulse and Silver stopped crying. She was entranced by the pulsing circles that begged her to be calm... To stop struggling. They meant the promise of peace. Her eyelids dropped half-way across her eyes and she smiled, relaxing. She let her head fall against her shoulder as she blinked slowly and watched the pretty, rhythmic, circles. She didn't even notice her glasses fall from her face. The snake gradually brought Silver closer to it. When she was an inch away... It stuck out its long forked tongue and licked her. Slowly, from the bottom of her neck to the top of her cheek, leaving a dripping line of saliva in its wake. Silver giggled as the tongue slid over her face. The snake was tasting her. She tasted just as good as the last filly. The snake licked its lips and drooled slightly as she pulled the drowsy filly closer. It stretched its mouth open and loosened its grip on the her. Silver stared into its open jaws calmly and practically climbed into them as soon as her head entered. She thought it looked like the perfect bed to rest on... She was so tired. The snake gurgled in surprise and delight as the filly excepted her fate without question. Silver spoon hugged the snake's tongue and rolled into a comfortable position. She was absolutely drenched in saliva. But she didn't seem to mind. She even nuzzled the tongue, getting more saliva on her lips and muzzle. The snake didn't bother to close its mouth this time, and just simply tilted its head back. Waited for the filly to slide into position then...

"Squish!"

Saliva, along with the pulsing muscles of the snake's oesophagus, made a loud, sickly squishing sound. Silver spoon was now asleep, and was limp as the throat sluggishly carried her downwards. She lay in a flat position, her limbs forced together by the slimy, pressing walls. Saliva now fully coated her, hardly any of her fur could be seen clearly, because of the slippery ooze that now surrounded her. She sighed contently as she slid into the stomach. She was placed neatly next to Diamond tiara, but was asleep, and so couldn't see her. The snake hung out its tongue again, in bliss and lay itself comfortably down on the branch it was sat on. It yawned and smiled, patting the bulge in its stomach with its tail. It slowly drifted off to sleep, its tail hanging carelessly down beneath the branch. The two fillies smiled and yawned in their new homes as well, the only difference was they were already asleep... And were soon to be moving from their resting place. Which, the snake had no intention of doing itself. The sun went down a few hours later, making way for a shining moon that hung in the sky, accompanied by dazzling stars. The snake was still sat contentedly up on its branch asleep, and Diamond tiara and Silver spoon's parents were walking around the forest, looking for them. Little did they know that their little fillies had new homes. And they would never see them again.

Author's Note

This is another little short-fic I've been toiling at for a while. It's been from place to place and I've finally finished it and implanted it to a site. Nothing special, just a little fic I started a while back. Hope you enjoy! I have a big, book-like fic coming up, so don't get too sceptical about these little things :moustache:
