And the king knew the Arrogant stallion's name.

...

Journal, I hate this place. I truly do.

I hate this place. This land. This earth. This planet. This zoo. This prison. This hell. These people. This reality, whatever you decide to call it, journal. I can't stand it.

All of pessimistic, defeatist, gloomy, consequential, cynical, bleak, negative, dismissive, horrific, antipathetic, uncooperative, obstructive world... that we all reside in. And there isn't much that we can do to change all of this, in the world journal. And isn't that quite sad that we live in a world that is quite negative, where happiness is just a figment of each imagination that every being on this planet hold the ability to dream. There are few places on this planet where this is even possible, where true happiness is in-fact a reality. And how misguided this place is. And how I hate it so. I could care less if those decide to describe me as a 'hypocrite'. I could care less about those who have no say, and should have no place into a subject that they themselves should not delve into. For their own well-being, they should let the matter slide.

The matter being how this place, the land where my own species reside, being one of the only places on the planet where the majority of the species reside, a land where Harmony exist among it's own people. Where a system designed to benefit the rulers of the land in fact also benefit the people in the process. How surprising that must seem to those who cannot understand the meanings and wonders of why it is indeed so surprising. They live in their own ignorance for this reason. They are misguided in certain facts that the rulers of the world decide to withhold information from their own citizens, for their own benefit. Because they know they couldn't prosper if one of their lies they have conjured is then proven to be false. The rulers are a shepherd for their heard, and their heard, my own species of which makes me feel ashamed in the slightest, are too naïve to argue with this lie, basing it off as a fact due to the science all around us. Magic.

Magic has it upsides, and it's downsides. They both are equally as deadly, if not terrifying at the same time.

I have my reasons, for what I do. How controversial they are, from a different perspective. I regret some of the things that I do, I don't with others. For good reasons in my mind. For what I do, and you better be listening journal, for what I do is for the prosperity of my kind, of all our kinds. This is the only way to prosper. Become loved upon your subjects, while being frightening to your enemies. The funny thing being about my enemies. I don't have any left.

I've killed them all.

Aside from a few that still stand today. I don't kill without purpose. I don't kill the innocent. The innocent need one who can protect them from the unknown dangers that they themselves cannot comprehend. I am their saviour. The one to guide them all. To guide them to utter greatness, from where we can all prosper from the benefits of living like kings, for all of us. However, this is only a dream of mine that I intend to make a reality. And it comes with many blocks in the road that stop me at every turn. You put them there, you ask journal? Well, I ask myself the same thing. I have come to a conclusion of a possibility, where it could be her fault. Or it was the working of Tetra where he attempted to do what people thought Chzo wanted to achieve.

It's certain that the smell, if there is such a thing, is infuriating me. I feel saturated by it. I can taste this... stink, and every time I do, I fear that I've somehow been infected by it. I don't know what it could possibly be, journal. Maybe it's the smell of some sort of ignorance. As if you would have any knowledge, journal. You can't understand what I smell, nor can you understand your own meaning of life. To be true of my words, I don't have a clear understanding either. But it isn't possible to consider what my meaning of life is to me.

...

I would like to, if I have any time, my own personal journal, to share a revelation that I've had, during my time here. A revelation that is probably so insignificant to you. You with your own ignorance cannot even fathom the concept of this revelation, of anything! That is why I have to explain it to you.

It came to me when I tried to classify the species that she is, that they are, that I am. A complex species with complex rules, figures, science and knowledge. Not the most complex of all time, but it's truly significant. Which is more than I can say to you, journal. So bear with me here. You don't have much of a choice. When I classified my own species, I realized we aren't actually mammals. Every mammal that lives, exists on this planet of ours, that is more complex than anything know to our kind, instinctively develops a natural equilibrium with the surrounding environment, no matter how old my species are. Certain species don't, and they cease to exist. Facts do not cease to exist because they are ignored. This isn't part of the revelation, but is equally as relevant.

It appears impossible to me that I should cease to exist, ever. Neither will she, or them. Or that this active, restless spirit, equally alive to joy and sorrow, should be only organized dust. Yet previous organisms, their lifeforms of the past have been forgotten by what the future has become. And that is quite ignorant. If beings attempt to erase the past, it will only come back, larger and stronger. Well, it's very doubtful that this will occur in these times. It has been a very long time. Yet they choose to forget the past, based on their... dark nature. Stereotypically. Shame really. Their species is actually quite intriguing.

While discussing the revelation, my species don't necessarily develop a natural equilibrium, depending on where you are describing. Well, I haven't received any recorded information over the possibility of whether or not they do. They move to an area and they multiply and multiply until nearly every natural resource is consumed and the only way they can survive is to spread to another area. This is the former species that no longer exists, journal. Keep up with me!

But wait, journal, there is in fact another organism on this planet that follows the same pattern exactly, down to the tiniest of details. Do you know what it is? Of course you don't. You couldn't even comprehend what a 'fight' truly is, let alone what I am conversing with you. What is it, you say? Are you this interested in the knowledge that I've recently received? Well, I guess it's a first for everything, no matter what the topic. You see, this organism is a small infectious agent that replicates only inside the living cells of other organisms. How ironic. It is commonly referred to as a 'virus' though. While not as common as it has been in the past, viruses are a disease. Ponies aren't a disease yet, but they can from into one, becoming a cancer of this planet. Ponies are a plague. And I'm the cure.

...

I've wondered about mammals for the past few days, journal. Most of our ancestors were not perfect mares and gentlecolts. The majority of them weren't even mammals. They weren't even sentient, from archival clippings that I have found out by the ancients. How interesting the ancients are, and what my species used to be. They used to act like drones, like pets. How disgusting it must have been for them. Killed, slaughtered, tortured for the ancients' own benefits, for the own entertainment. Yet it is still intriguing. We might have a lot to learn about the ancients, and what I used to be, journal. How they perished and how my species rose. Along with the others, of course. Yet the size of their population is considered to be a fraction of mine.

I've found out more things about the ancients that also intrigues me about mammals. You could call this a revelation if you want to, journal. But you couldn't comprehend the meaning of 'could. I've read a passage that the ancients seemed to have wrote down regarding mammals and carnivores, and it can relate to the way that some of my species that they partake in today. Mammals seem to offer something that no reptile ever will, nor can they. They can give affection at will, they also want affection, and they respond to our emotions the same way we do to their. For my species, in that misguided land, this maybe somewhat true to an extent. I'm not entirely sure.

Mammals are sentient beings that want to live and are afraid to die. Evolution vouchsafed us all with an instinct to survive, reproduce and flourish. Sadly, most beings can't grasp the concept of Evolution. They've never heard the term before. My species in that land certainly provides clear evidence of my statement that I decide to call a fact. What a sad world that we live in. Still, it could be better than how the ancients theoretically died out. We don't have as much wars as we do now compared back then.

I wonder if this world will ever have a 'World War'. It's a interesting scenario to think about, journal. Although due to what I have intended in mind, war may be inevitable. Peace won't last through the lands, or rather throughout her lands. Conflict everywhere. There is conflict everywhere. I think my mind is always in conflict, my dreams have conflict where I can't decide if some of my dreams are even possible. I always attempt to makes these dreams a living reality, where many revelations can stop me in my tracks. The revelation of Mammals, journal, has made me question even further about how she controls her land, and how they controlled their own land. I have a conflict with all of them, disagreeing with some, if not most of the actions they partake in and the beliefs they have. I wonder why they would even do what they do. Some of them claim that peace is absent when there is conflict. Peace is not absence of conflict, it is the ability to handle conflict by peaceful means. They don't do this, they take it forcefully, and not peacefully. Imagine, journal, where a person can take over a country or a nation, peacefully. You can't, can you? You can't think of anything likewise to the sentence I just wrote. To be fair, I don't think anyone else can.

And that is truly terrifying.
