//-------------------------------------------------------// Galloping on Luna's Moon -by Shanterlots- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// 1: To The Moon //-------------------------------------------------------// 1: To The Moon Celestia gazed upon the moon. She thought of her sister’s tragic banishment and wondered what she did up there, all alone, on that cold, airless rock; the Moon is an inhospitable place. Regular ponies wouldn't even be able to survive up there. There was scorching heat in the sun, freezing cold in the shade, and don’t forget about the lack of oxygen, and of course the deadly radiation from the sun. Luna comes forward and looks out the window with her sister. “I know you have questions, about the moon,” she said. Celestia then asked, “Well I- How did you know that?” “I know you very well; you are my sister, after all,” Luna replied. “First off, you should know that the moon is filled with many dangers, such as-” she clears her throat “-craters, meteors, asteroids…” as Luna trails off the dangers of her millennial prison, Celestia writes them all down in a fresh new book she had lying around. It didn't just contain details about the various ways in which you could suffer a painful death thousands of miles from home, it also had useful geographical information, and interesting sightseeing destinations. “Wow,” -Celestia stood in awe- ”You sure do know a lot about the Moon.” “Well I would have learned much more about it, but I was only there for a mere one thousand years.” Luna said. They both giggled at her rather, clever joke. Celestia then had the most profound idea in the history of Equestria. “My sister, I think that a perfect display of the equestrian empire’s power, would be something that has never been done before. I am talking about a trip to the moon!” she exclaims. Luna seemed to be happy, but in her mind she absolutely hated the living on the moon. She only told her sister about it to humor her; she didn’t expect her to start a full-blown space program, and naturally as her sister, she would help her. It was worth it however, because she loved her sister. All hail Princess Celestia, and her crazy ideas. Celestia began drafting a letter to Twilight. She would be of great intellectual help in her ventures, for the obvious reason of being the smartest pony in Equestria.
