Octavia was a nervous wreck, she paced all around her and Vinyl's (Or her stage name DJ pon 3) house which was diffrent from many other houses in ponyville mainly because of it being split into two diffrent sides, one being a more classic and fancy type decor and the other being a neon and DJ type set up. Octavia was mainly nervous because she had not been offered a show in weeks and because of that had also not been paid in a while. She walked over to a table in the living room, where she picked up her wallet. She opened it up only to see darkness and a fly come out. "how'd that even get in there?" She thought as she threw it on the couch next to her.
"Hey Octi im back!!" Vinyl shouted as she came through the front door of there home
"Vinyl, tell me you found a job? The house payments are coming up and im worried we won't be able to affored them." Octavia said in her british tone
"Ok chill babe." Octavia than rolled her eyes, she hated when she called her that. "I didn't really find a show to preform at per say but i did meet somepony that offered me a job." Vinyl said as she troted to the fridge and grabed a bottle of apple cider.
"Somepony offered you a job?"
"Yeah, he said he'll pay us a lot of money for doing it."
"thats fantastic, What's the job?"
"We have to break into a bank in manehatten." Vinyl said, Walking over to the couch and laying back, resting her back hoof on the table in front of her.
"Oh well thats not too hard." said Octavia, troting to the kitchen to get a quick snack. "WAIT, DID YOU SAY BREAK INTO A BANK!?!?"
"Yeah whats the big deal?"
"The big deal is that Your breaking into a bank!"
"So what, We just go to manehatten and we break in"
"You mean You break in, because im not getting arrested for doing somthing foolish."
"Oh come on Octi, we need the money and maybe if we have some cash left over, ill take you on that special date i promised you?" Vinyl than gave Octavia the sadest and most adorable puppy dog face she could give her. Octavia couldn't resist those eyes.
"Ugh.......Fine...."Octavia said rolling her eyes.
"Awesome, Ok the guy said to meet him at the train station at seven so get ready in a bit." Vinyl than walked over to Octavia and gave her a kiss on the cheek, than walking to there shower to fresh up.
"Some times i hate that mare." Octavia thought, troting over to the kitchen and grabing some cider to prepare her self for the long night
Manhatten was huge city, ponies walking all around 24/7, no wonder this place was called the city that never sleeps. Vinyl and Octavia walked off the train looking around at there suroundings
"You ever been to Manehatten before Octi?" Vinyl said as she pulled out a map of the city from her saddle bag on her back
"Only once, it was just a little trip i had." Octavia said looking over Vinyl's shoulder to see the map. The map showed a diagram of the city with a painted red circle around a large bank. "It was just a little vacation though, i didn't have a wild party or do somthing like This."
"Well the guy told me that this is the place where we break into." Vinyl said pointing at the circled location. "He already gave me the stuff we need to use to get in, so here's the plan......."
Vinyl and Octavia stood on top of one of the bulidings next to the bank with Vinyl droping her saddle bag, pulling out the various items they needed for the heist.
"Here put this on." Vinyl said handing Octavia a black skin tight jump suit. Octavia took the outfit, removing her pink bowtie and dressing herself.
"A....little tight.....isn't it?" Octavia said sucking in her gut to fit in to the suit.
"I think it makes you look Hot." Vinyl responded with a smerk on her face. Octavia than rolled her eyes, straping a black utility belt on to her waist.
"So what do i do?"
"Well first you have to use this glass cutter to silently cut a hole into the glass roof on the place." Vinyl said showing her the device and pointing at the glass dome on the bank's roof. "Just place it on the glass, press the top button and just let it cut the hole."
"And after that?"
"Well once you've broke the glass you use your rope to lower your self into the place, once your in ill have disabled the security cameras by using this computer." Vinyl than pulled out a white lap top with a vinyl recond sticker on the back of it. "That sound easy to you?"
"No, but ill try my best, you just make sure you have those cameras offline when i get down there."
"Don't worry about it Octi, lets just get this job done and get paid."
Octavia troted over to the edge of the building, looking over at the roof of the bank.
"Man i hate to see you go but i love to see you walk away." Vinyl said as she looked up from her lap top to stare at Octavia's flank in the tight jump suit. Octaiva than rolled her eyes and jumped on to the roof of the other building, place the glass cutter on the glass dome of the bank. She than press the button the top it, causeing to cut a large circle in to the glass. It than attacted it self on to the cut glass circle. Octavia removed it from the hole it had made, she than droped down a long stran of rope for her to climb down on.
"Okay Vinyl im climbing down." Octavia said useing a ear pice she had taken from her belt she was wearing.
"Awesome, cameras are down.....Now." Octavia slid down the rope , looking around to see if there were any guards around the area.
"It's all clear, feel free to come down." Octavia said, jumping down from the rope and on to the floor, just as Vinyl ziped down the rope and landing on Octavia.
"Ouch!!" Octavia yelled
"Babe, be quiet your gonna get us caught." Vinyl wispered, helping her friend get up from the ground.
"Lets just get this over with." The two than walked torwds a room and than stood infront of a large gold safe, with a small key pad next to it.
"Don't worry i got this." Vinyl said, walking up to the key pad and inserting the password. the safe than made a cracking noise and than opening.
"How did you...."
"I just guessed, really what pony put there password as 1111?" Both of the mare ran into that safe room, grabing as much gold bits as they could carry in the saddle bags that they were provided for the heist. "Alright lets go!" The two ran towrds the the rope they had used, than climbing up to get to the roof. Once they were on top vinyl than grabed the rop and threw it over the side of the building. They than began to use it to climb down the building.
"You know for how dangerous that was, it was pretty fun." Octavia said as she slowly climbed down on the rope.
"You just liked it because, you got to do with me."
"Might i also remind you that you were the one who got us into this mess."
"Yeah but you know even if i wasin't offered this job, we would have still done this to get the money."
"No, you would have I would have just bailed you out of jail."
"And you would have done that because you love me."
"Celestia, you can just be such a filly some times...." After Octavia said that a bright light that appered around the two mares
"Oh just shut up and kiss allready!" Yelled one of the many police officers standing infront of the the bank, with one of them operating a giant search light shining on Octavia and Vinyl.
"You know i think i forgot to shut off the silent alarm." Vinyl said looking down at Octavia.
"WHAT!!!" Octavia shouted
Octavia looked at the police officer as he closed her and Vinyl's cell door only to than turn around to Vinyl
who was wearing a orange prison uniform the same as herself
"Well bad news, we got aressted." Vinyl said as she looked at Octavia
"Bad news? Whats the good news?"
"The good news is that we get to have our special date i promised you." Vinyl said as she removed a white blanket off of a table with a lite candle and a set of prison lunch trays with weird food slop on them. Octavia than smiled at Vinyl who was already siting at the table.
"Vinyl, i love you."
"I love you two Octi."
