Chaos Capital of the World
"Chaos is a wonderful, wonderful thing!" Discord, the god of chaos, said to himself, as he was about to drink from a cup of chocolate milk upon his throne in the newly made 'Chaos Capital of the World.'
"Not as wonderful... as FRIENDSHIP!" Twilight Sparkle replied, as she and her friends posed, getting ready for the final battle against Discord. Twilight Sparkle and her friends each represent an Element of Harmony, which are Equestria's greatest defense against enemies. Twilight Sparkle represents the Element of Magic/Friendship. Applejack represents the Element of Honesty. Fluttershy represents the Element of Kindness. Rarity represents the Element of Generosity. Rainbow Dash represents the Element of Loyalty. And Pinkie Pie represents the Element of Laughter.
Recently, Discord was able to completely reverse the six friends' Elements, turning the kind Fluttershy into a bully, the honest Applejack into a liar, the loyal Rainbow Dash into a traitor, the generous Rarity into a greedy pony, the happy and naive Pinkie Pie into an irritable grump, and turned Twilight Sparkle away from friendship. Now, the six mares have gotten back to normal, and were planning on stopping Discord's reign.
"Ugh, this again?" Discord asked, acting like the ponies couldn't stop him. He proceeded to drink the glass from his chocolate milk, which he threw away, creating an explosion.
"That's right!" Applejack responded in her usual southern accent. "You couldn't break apart our friendship for long!" She stamped her hoof into the ground.
"Oh, Applejack, don't lie to me. I'm the one who made you a liar." Discord's claw glowed, and Applejack was dragged over by her necklace which held the Element of Honesty. Discord then held out his other claw, which glowed, and all the ponies (except for Twilight Sparkle) were dragged over and into the air by their Elements around their neck. "Will you ever learn?"
Twilight Sparkle crouched down, before flaring up her horn, and teleporting in between her friends, and casting a giant bubble of anti-chaos magic around them before moving them back to the ground. "I'll tell you what we've learned!" Twilight walked forward, followed by her friends. "We've learned friendship isn't always easy. But there's no doubt that it's worth fighting for!" Twilight stamped her hoof into the ground.
"Ugh, gag. Fine, go ahead, try to use your little Elements frenemies. Just make it quick." Discord teleported with a flash back to his throne. "I'm missing some excellent chaos here."
"Alright, ladies, let's show him what friendship can do!" Twilight said, as the six mares charged up their Elements, before firing them at Discord. As a huge rainbow appeared, and collided with Discord, the six mares thought they won. "Did we do it?"
"Hardly." Discord's voice rang out, as he held a giant orb of the Elements magic in his mismatched hands.
"But how?! The Elements are supposed to beat you!" Twilight exclaimed. Discord smirked, before snapping his fingers, causing the gems inside each piece of jewelry to quickly fly over to him, before he turned them to dust and vacuumed them with a vacuum he spawned.
"You honestly think I would allow the one thing that can beat me to beat me again? This time I prepared! I can see that you all have your color and friendship back! What do you think I am? The kind of bad guy who's defeated in a two part episode?! I'm Discord! the Master of Chaos!" Discord put his paw against his chest, as he said this proudly, and the six mares started to cry as they realized they failed.
But to everyone's surprise, a clapping sound was heard. Everyone in the vicinity looked to see a strange figure wearing a strange full body blue costume that had several yellow lightning bolts on it, slowly walking up to Discord from behind the six mares, as it clapped slowly. "Bravo. Bravo. You're the first super-villain I've ever seen that actually thought ahead like that. Color me impressed. Usually a cartoon villain like yourself would have not noticed their color change over their own ego." The creature sounded like a male, and it definitely was not a pony. It stood like a minotaur or a diamond dog, but didn't have distinct traits associated with both of them. It looked more similar to a primate.
"And prey tell, who are you?" Discord asked, as the creature stopped in front of the six mares, who were still trying to figure out this strange creature.
"Me? I'm a nobody. Just passing through as I try to find my way home. But, I couldn't help but see the dilemma these six ladies are in, and decided to lend them a hand." The stranger said, taking a quick peek at the six mares.
"What are you doing?! Do you know who that is?! You should run, whoever you are!" Twilight urged, not wanting to see this creature to get hurt.
To everyone's surprise, the stranger flickered for a milli-second, before responding. "Discord. A draconequus. One of the last of his species, which roam the multiverse, and appear as chaos creating deities. I've came across one before. But he called himself Mischief. Plus he looked different. He looked more like a human then a chimera. Oddly enough, you two seem to have the same voice. You both sound like you're voiced by John de Lancie."
"What are you talking about?! I'm the only draconequus! There can be only one!" Discord scowled, not liking this creature.
"Well, there's only one in a universe. Other universes have their own draconequui, such as Loki, Majora, and even the Q Continuum." The stranger replied.
"Oh, a smart aleck? Let's see how you like this!" Discord lifted up the ball of harmony magic, before corrupting it into chaos magic, and then throwing it at the creature and the six ponies behind it before it blew up. Only the problem is that it blew up in Discord's face blasting him back, but not hurting him. "What the?!" Discord saw that the creature didn't even look like he moved.
The six mares looked at themselves, glad that they were alive, before looking at the strange creature that deflected the blast without moving. "How?" Twilight asked herself, before blinking in surprise when the creature was suddenly at Discord's throat.
"That was a cheap trick. You can try to hurt me all you want, but you never harm the people not in the fight! You understand!" Quicker than anyone could blink, the creature slammed Discord into a wall, leaving behind sparks of blue and yellow lightning.
Discord looked at the creature in surprise, and snapped his fingers, teleporting away, before snapping his fingers, and several cannons appeared in front of him. "I don't care who you are! No one harms me! Discord!" All the cannons fired huge balls of fast moving heated metal, but the creature was suddenly between the cannons and Discord, holding his hand out right in front of Discord's belly. "What are you doing?"
"Just watch." Right after he said that, powerful winds tore at Discord, slamming him into a building. The ponies looked on in awe at what this creature was doing.
"That looked like the winds created by an object moving at fast speeds before stopping suddenly! But the speeds required to make that much force would have to be hundreds, no... thousands of times faster than sound!" Twilight commented, starting to freak out
The creature chuckled. "You're way off on your calculations there. It's more like one million, eight hundred thousand times the speed of sound."
Twilight's jaw dropped at that. "But that would be more than the speed of light! About two times the speed of light! Nothing can move that fast!"
"Well, I'm special like that." The creature responded, before jumping up and kicking Discord in the face at impossible speeds. The creature kept on delivering massive blows to Discord, before Discord held up a small white flag.
"Alright! I give up! I can't stop you!" Discord had two black eyes, several missing teeth, and a few protruding bones that all quickly healed. 'If I can get him to let down his guard, I can easily beat him.' Discord thought.
"Good." The creature said, stopping his onslaught. "But to make sure you don't go back on your word." The creature crouched down to Discord's body, and held out his right hand, before speaking a word, and a red glow appeared on his hand, before wrapping around Discord.
"What are you doing!" Discord yelled, as he felt his magic disappear, and the land started changing back to normal. 'No! This wasn't part of the plan! This creature doesn't have magic! They can't! They don't seem to interact with the magic of this world! How can they use it?! And especially a spell like that?!'
"You've broken a few laws in this land. So I bound your magic up, so you can face justice for your crimes. I don't know what's going to happen, but it'll probably be better than just stoning you. No creature deserves something like that." The stranger tossed Discord onto his shoulder, before bringing him over to the six mares. "Here you go." He tossed Discord onto the ground, before handing a red glowing key to Twilight. "Here's the key to unbind his magic. I hope you'll give him a fair trial." The mysterious creature was about to leave, when Twilight spoke up.
"Wait! Who are you?! What are you?! I have so many questions!" Twilight's eyes were pleading for the knowledge.
The creature shook his head. "My name doesn't matter. The only thing that matters are my actions. You'll have to live with that." Then, with a loud bang, and an electric trail, the creature disappeared.
"Fluttershy!" Twilight quickly turned to her friend. "Have you ever seen or heard of a creature like that?! It doesn't look like anything I've ever seen!"
Fluttershy shook her head. "I'm sorry Twilight, but I haven't."
"But did you see it's clothes? It looked like it was dressed like a Wonderbolt. If, you know, Wonderbolts walked on their hind-legs." Rarity pointed out.
Twilight ignored her, as she focused on everything she remembered the creature saying. 'It mentioned different universes. Maybe it's from... nah. That would be impossible. But so would moving that fast. There must be a logical explanation for this! Maybe it's got some kind of speed potion from the Zebras or something!'
"Princess Celestia!" Twilight called out, as she ran up to her mentor after the ceremony in honor of their 'defeat of Discord.'
The princess, who was a tall white alicorn, a species of pony that is long lived, and has traits from all three types of ponies, looked to her student, and smiled. "Hello Twilight Sparkle. Shouldn't you be celebrating with your friends?"
Twilight shook her head. "We shouldn't be honored like this at all."
The alicorn giggled. "Oh my student, always so humble. Just relax, you deserve this. All six of you deserve this. You defeated Discord, without using the Elements of Harmony too. Not even my sister and I could do that."
"But we don't deserve this! We didn't defeat Discord!" Twilight exclaimed.
Princess Celestia looked seriously confused. "Say again?"
Twilight pawed her hoof on the ground. "it wasn't us who defeated Discord. We were about to lose, as Discord took the Elements of Harmony and destroyed them."
Princess Celestia blinked in surprise. "What do you mean? Is this the cause of the strange magic preventing Discord from using magic?"
Twilight nodded. "Yes. A strange pony showed up, and was able to single hoofedly defeat Discord. It was able to move incredibly fast, to the point where it wasn't seen while moving. It claimed to have moved at two times the speed of light! But that should be impossible!"
Princess Celestia's brow furrowed. "What did this creature look like?"
Twilight thought back. "Well, it was fully clothed in a blue costume with yellow lightning bolts on it, similar to the Wonderbolts. It walked on two legs like minotaurs and diamond dogs, but it's legs were bent in the wrong way, and it's body shape didn't match the characteristics of either race. In fact, the magic of the world just moved around it! But it still was able to use magic to bind Discord!"
Princess Celestia sighed. "It's like I thought. This creature's shown up before. It first started appearing a week ago. Ponies from several different cities and towns, and even different races claimed to have seen a figure like you described when they needed it most. It never told them it's name, and left shortly after. It didn't accept any form of payment for it's actions either. It didn't even want to be thanked."
"What is it though?" Twilight asked.
"We don't know. But it doesn't seem to be any harm to Equestria or it's surrounding countries, so we'll let it be for now." Princess Celestia responded. "We'll keep an eye on it, but we must consider the possibility of the creature just wanting to help others."
"Do we have anything to call it? I feel bad for calling it creature, and figure, and other names like that." Twilight questioned.
