Languishing Treehugger
The end of Treehugger
Load Full StoryIt was a long night during the Galloping Gala. Treehugger was exhausted from that event, from dancing, to soothing the Smooze, what exhausted more was dealing with a jealous spirit of Chaos, nearly being banished to another dimension. However, other than that, the earth mare had a good time with Fluttershy. Treehugger loves being friends with a pony who gets her, she could not wait to spend more time with her.
She walked down the dark streets of Canterlot. She could've hitch a ride with Fluttershy and the others, but she had a room booked in the Big Elks Bed N' Breakfast. After that she'll take a train back home; there was this special flower and Treehugger wanted to be there when that little flower blooms, which was tomorrow night. The mare had to get up in the morning if she wanted to make it in time before the blooming.
Treehugger was almost at the end when she was stopped.
"Excuse me," a gray unicorn walked up to her. "Excuse me ma'am, I was wondering if you could help me out?" The colt asked Treehugger.
"Hi, I'm Treehugger," The mare said calm gaze to the unicorn. "I gotta say, your aura is vaguely familiar, have we, like, met before?" She tilts her head at him. She seems to recognize it but where?
"This is our first meeting, I can assure you," The colt said with a smile. "But will you help me out or not?"
"Like, what seems to be the trouble?"
"I am having trouble retrieving my dog. He went into this hole and I cannot get him out. I don't like using my magic to get him. So could you?" The colt explains, hoping she'll say yes.
"Oh! Animals are, like, free spirited, not meant to be controlled. But I could see if I could sooth him to get him to come out." Treehugger smiled.
"Splendid," The colt said, making an unsettling smile towards her. The mare didn't seem to noticed. He led the way.
The colt lead her towards outside of Canterlot. He took her to this deep hole. It was climbable, for even a small animal could climb. "He's in there." There was a whimpering noise of a small dog as they approached it.
"Alright, like, lets see if can't get the little guy out." Treehugger said, walking up to the hole. "Like, I never catch your name? What is it again?" She peered down the hole.
"It's.....Discord."
"Funny, I know somepony with that na-" She turns her head and stopped, Discord was there with a wry face. "Oh, hello Discord, have you, like, seen a unicorn anywhere? Like, his name is also Discord."
"Into the rabbit hole you go!" Discord summons a large broom and just swept up Treehugger into the deep dark hole. The only thing Treehugger saw while falling was Discord laughing manically.
Treehugger aroused from her slumber. "Ooh...like, that was one heck of a ride." She rubbed her head. "Like, who turn out the lights?"
On mark, lights lit up around her. She was in some sort of cave. Treehugger was staring at a head of a pony with some of it's skin rotting away and maggots eating it. "Like whoa!" Treehugger shouts, scooting away. "Like, so not cool!"
"I see you are awake. That's good" Discord's voice called from the beyond.
"Whoa...Discord, is that, like you?" Treehugger asked, standing up on her hoofs. "Like, where am I and why is this pony, like, missing her body?"
"Scattered in the Garden Pony's flower beds," Discord emerges from the darkness.
"Like...why?" Treehugger asked, an uneasy feeling in the pit of her stomach. "What has that pony done?"
"She was being too rude towards Fluttershy," Discord said, picking up the maggot filled skull with his bear claw. "So I had her and her friend deposed," He crushes the skull into dust. "Next is you," he chuckled. Treehugger sensed this dark aura around the creature.
"I thought we were friends?" The earth pony asked, shaking to the core. "I thought you were like, okay of me being Flutteshy's friend?"
"I'd never say that," He said. He even brought up a memory of the whole event. Just to make sure he never spoke those words. "Nope, I said nothing of the sort."
The mare turns and makes a run for it. But she didn't get too far as chains shot out from where Discord was at. The chains wrapped around her hindlegs and began to drag her back.
"No!" She cried, trying to find something to cling to but there was nothing but dirt and pebbles.
"Now, we can't have you running off to Fluttershy and have her telling on me," Discord coos, grabbing the chains and holding Treehugger upside down, having her face him.
"Could we like...work this out?" She squeaked, fear wrecked over the green pony.
"Nope." He said simply before throwing her onto a table. The chains chained her down. Straps wrapped around her forelegs. "Now lets have some fun!" Discord laughed, opening a trapdoor out of thin air and taking out a chest.
"W-what's in that thing?" Treehugger asked. He hasn't started his torture and yet she's already hyperventilating.
Discord didn't respond to her question and opened the chest and dug through.
"No," He throws a book. "Not that," a bugbear. "I thought I put you back in your dimension?" a talking winged blue cat. He kept throwing random objects out of the chest before taking out a chainsaw. "Ah! I finally found it!"
Treehugger's eyes widened when she saw the contraption. Discord flew over to the trapped mare and started up the saw.
"Now, so you won't go running off, and since I'm the spirit of chaos, I could just take your legs off without all of the pain, blood, and screaming nonsense. But I'm not!" He slowly brought the saw down. Her flesh began to tear as the saw went into her.
Treehugger screamed in pain before blacking out.
"Now now, that is really not fair," Discord's voice pounded in the mare's ears as she awaken once more. Discord was floating over her with a frown. "I barely got started and here you were falling asleep on me."
Treehugger gasped, looking down as best as she could, expecting to see both her legs sawed off. But to her surprise, both her legs were enacted. It was all an illusion.
"Those valley ponies at least stayed awake while I play with them." Discord said, pouting. "If you are not going to stay awake," He yanks a scale out of his tail before stretching the mare's right eyelid. "I'll have to make sure you do."
"Please stop!" The mare cried out.
With as slow as he could, he began cutting her eyelid with his scale. This was real. The pain felt worse than before. Blood seeped down as Treehugger cries out in pain. When Discord was done, he threw the piece of flesh to the ground and got to work on the other lid. She cried more and more. When Discord was half way done, he just grasped it and rips it off completely, taking some of her brow with her. Treehugger screamed in agony.
"There, now you can watch." Discord cackled, rubbing his hands together.
Treehugger couldn't respond. Oh sweet Celesta, please save me She thought.
Discord began laughing. "Oh dear, Celesta can't save you," He said, taking the earphone away from the mare. He was listening to her thoughts. "No pony can. Celesta told me that what I do in my pocket dimension is my business, not hers, not anypony. So that means, you are mine to do what I please."
She whelp when he said that. She was trapped.
"Now, what should I do now? Remove your cutie mark?" He holds up an illusion of her Cutie mark. "Your limbs to feed that Angel Bunny. Or how about make your intestines dance? You pick."
"L-Like how about letting me g-go? Please!" Treehugger screamed, begging the spirit.
"Well, since you say please," He takes the scale that he morphed into a scalpel. "How about skinning you limb by limb."
Treehugger gasped, she began to struggle through her restrains. But they were so tight that they were cutting blood circulation. "Please oh please! Don't!" She shouted over and over.
He takes a hold of her left hind hoof. "Hmm, now I believe with this." He began to slicing the bottom of her hoof's skin off. Treehugger cries in pain. She struggles to kick him away but she couldn't. She was helpless.
Discord slowly skins her entire legs. She screams in pain and agony. She wanted to die. This was too much for the young mare.
"Please, Discord....please stop!" She cries. She couldn't close her eyes.
Before he could answer, he looked at his watch. "Huh, time to have tea time with Fluttershy." He smiled happily. He poofed a tray of cucumber sandwiches in thin air. "I'll play with you later Treehugger." With a snap of his tail, Discord was gone.
Treehugger lie on that metal slab. She tries her best to break free. But with the skin completely off of her leg was killing her. She couldn't accept her fate to die in this world. And she really couldn't let Discord have Fluttershy. Treehugger needed to get out to save her.
Treehugger noticed her left strap was a little loose. She slowly wiggled her hoof out. Filling with hope, she reached over and began to untie her right. When she did, she started to try and get the chains off. She shouts in pain and lie back down. Her leg was killing her, but she had to deal with it. Escaping this place was what all that Treehugger could think of.
Sitting up, she worked on the chains. Sweat was just pouring down her face as she worked. As she worked, all she thought about was Fluttershy. How they first met, dealing with the breezies, the fun she had with the gala. With anticipation she had, she finally managed to get her skinned hoof out.
"Now onto the other-" she froze in place when she heard a voice calling out.
"Oh I just can't wait to spend time with Fluttershy again." It was Discord!
Biting her lower lip, she worked faster; trying to pull her hoof out. She pulled to much and heard a loud cracking sound. She screamed loudly. She just broke her own hoof. Tears coming down her puffy cheeks as the spirit of chaos frolicking in the room. He looked at her and laughed manically.
"Oh this is precious!" He hooted, wiping a tear. "You were trying to escape!" He snapped his fingers, the chains around her other hoof pulled more tighter than ever. She screamed in agony as the metal was digging into her broken hoof. It didn't take long for Discord to remove the leg with the chain.
Treehugger cried loudly. Her body wrecked in pain. But she knew that he wasn't done with her.
"Oh...you look so cute with that look you got on you." Discord coos, giving her a dangerous seductive look. "I done this with other being's before, but not with a pony." He grabs her throat and pins her on the table. "I wonder how it'll feel." He chuckled, climbing on the table, going between the wounded mare's...well what legs she had left. Oxygen was cutting from the pony's brain. Even though she had her lids removed, her vision became blurry.
Endless torment, endless pain, Treehugger spent, well she lost track of time on how much she had been in this damned universe. She wanted to die. This was not how a pony should be treated. No pony should ever go through what she had been through. Tortured, raped, skinned, scalped. Discord truly hated her. If any of the other Mane Six makes Fluttershy cry or else...Discord would probably do the same to them.
"Well! Princess Sunbutt has invited me over to her castle for tea." Discord giggled, putting one Treehugger's ribs down. He was using them as drum sticks. He had shoved his hand into Treehugger's chest and had broke her ribs from the inside before pulling out with the bones without breaking the flesh. "I shall return, Treehugger." He laughs before poofing off.
"Not...with me..." Treehugger heaved. She slowly turned her head to the ground. Her eyes scanning for she can use. She did see one of her ribs on the ground. It had a jagged tip. She could use that. She slowly rolled off of the table. Making a loud thud on the rock floor. She shouted out briefly before beginning crawling towards the bone.
When ponies say life would pass before their eyes? They were right, Treehugger was watching her life like a movie projector. Her life moving backwards. Seeing all the great things she had witness, the ponies she have met, her mother and father, her first pet, even seeing her first Nightmare Night. She lived a good life...it was a shame it had to end like this. However...she'll end it her own way. She crawled her way to the bone, grasping it in her right fore-hoof. She eyed at the rib, she was shaking too much, she fears that she'll drop it, so it would have to be quick. Treehugger takes the bone and shoved it deeply into her neck before sharply dragging it across her throat, blood squirted out of her windpipe as she collapse finally to the ground.
"Stupid Celestia and her rules," Discord returns later, anger filled every fiber in his bones as he walked down his deceitful cave. "Maybe I should do her next...though..I might have more fun with her." He shrugs before coming across Treehugger's corpse. "Oh for Pete's Sakes! Every fucking time. No pony has ever let me kill them."
