Chapters From forest to...sanctuary?
The Ever free forest was all nice and quiet as well as peaceful. It's been like this for a good bit until a big bright flash of white appeared out of no where about ten miles from Fluttershy's cottage. As soon as the light appeared it dissapeared and two soldiers and the ufo came through. Were the two soldiers were they didn't care about, but it was the ufo they were running from. Then they saw it again and this time they didn't hesitate to run after they saw those beings appear in their sight. And again, to say they were scared was an understatement. They had been running just for a minute and those creatures were already getting really close but something else was wrong, bob and anderson got seperated from each other and they were in a forest which added more problems.
Anderson was about to stop and go find bob until he heard what he never wanted.
''AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH'' that was shortly followed by gunshots that echoed through the forest and all of the sudden stop. This caused Anderson to run as fast as he could until he was nearing the edge. You would think that a wave of relief would appear on his face but that didn't happen. One, it was dark, two it could lead to open area's were he could be captured, and three there was just pure terror on his face. But he just kept going until he was out of the forest and caught glimpse of a cottage and didn't waist time to run over there. As soon as he arrived, he started banging on the door and yelled let me in. He didn't care if the people were asleep or not he just banged on the door. Either that or kick it in.
Fluttershy had been awoken by a scream and aloud series of bangs. It had been a full ten min. until she calmed down. She hoped that the others heard it as well and would check it out the next day. So she decide to go back to sleep, until someone just started banging on her door while yelling let me in with the sound of complete terror in his voice. The sudden event caused her to hide under her covers. But after a minute, she gathered up her courage and quickly rushed to the door and then opened it. And as soon as she opened the door she was almost immediately knocked down as the stranger barged in and slammed the door shut and quickly locked it. When fluttershy regained her balance, she was quickly brought into a hug by this stranger, what she heard confused her. He was saying thank you over and over while silently crying. After about a minute of the sudden reaction, she had this person sit down and check to make sure their was nothing wrong with him only to see eyes with so much fear and shock in them.
''A-a-are y-you alright,'' she asked still startled by the event. He didn't answer he just stared in one direction while muttering something. Then it hit her, he was in so much shock that he couldn't move but at the same time be so tense even the sound of a fly would probably cause him to react in a way that could possibly hurt someone. Then she decided to get some water for the stranger, and as soon as she went in the kitchen she came back out with a glass of water and handed it to him. The teen,as she could guess his age, hesitated a bit when reaching for the cup.
''Its alright, there's nothing to be afraid of'', she reassured him in a tone that could calm the most enraged animal down. Still, the new guest hesitated again then grabbed the glass of water and with shaking hands, started to drink it down. It had been a full hour until the person calmed down and fell asleep on the couch. Flutter shy had simply grabbed a blanket and put it over the person to keep him warm. Tomorrow flutter shy would be able to talk to him and ask what happened, until then she went back to bed and went to sleep.
Flutter shy had woken up the next day and walked down stairs to see the same person still asleep. He looked to be resting peacefully. But something else made her start to question more than just the events that transpired last night. It was his out fit that he was wearing. But before she could begin to question anything, there was a knock on the door. After hearing the knock, she checked to make sure that the stranger wasn't awoken. When she looked, she sighed with relief when he didn't stir. with that out of the way, fluttershy went to answer the door to see her friends standing there after she had gazed through the little view port. She had totally forgotten about today, she and the girls were going to go have a picnic in the fields under rainbow dash's house. But because of the unfortunate event, flutter shy would have to tell her friends about what has transpired last night.
Another knock had brought her out of her thoughts and flutter shy opened the door to let them in. But as soon as they all entered, they caught glimpse of a person sleeping on her couch. Completely oblivious to what just happened.
''Uh, flutter shy...can you tell us why you have a stranger sleeping on your couch?'' Twilight began.
''And not to mention why he's wearing...that,'' rarity added in.
''W-w-well l-last night i was sleeping and all of the sudden i heard screaming then loud bang noise's that woke me up, and after ten min. i went back to bed but the stranger started banging on the door while yelling to be let in.
''So i opened the door and he almost knocked me over but then slam the door shut and lock it. He then hugged me and while silently crying, he was saying thank you. And then i sat him down and he was looking in a direction with fear and shock visible in his eyes.then an hour later he fell asleep.''
''oh my, what could possibly do that to this person...plus he looks rather young,'' rarity said as she observed the person.
''He's probably a teenager by the looks of it.'' twilight stated as she looked the boy over until she caught glimpse of his patch which was possibly his countries flag.
''Girls, look at his patch.'' when they looked at the patch, it raised plenty of questions. But before any one could even begin the a new topic, he twitched. And then started to hyperventilate as well as tense tense up. And when rarity went to go wake him from a supposed nightmare, hie reflexes kicked in and he shot up suprising rarity as he pulled out a weapon of some sort.

Anderson was in complete awareness/battle mode. But as soon as he stood up, he began to lose balance and stumble abit and then actually fell against objects on the wall. Though he still had his gun pointed at the group standing before him. He couldn't believe what he was seeing. There were a group of six women, but they were different, two of 'em had wings like no joke, the other two had some sort of tattoo that were glowing. the final two were normal, except for the pink haired on that was smiling and defying physics at the same time.
''Are ya alright sugar cube,'' the girl with the stetson had asked with worry in her tone.
''Who are you and why do ya'll have wings and what ever you have!?'' Anderson shouted, there was still a bit of shock going around in his mind and was barely able to think straight. And all of a sudden he passed out from shock and was caught by one of the girls in the room.
''Quick thinking RD, a'h was starting ta worry fer a bit,'' Applejack stated as she help dash put the unconscious teenager back on the couch. While they did that, twilight saw his necklace that had his age, which he was eighteen years of age.
''We need to send a letter to the princesses about this.'' stated twilight as she was examining the boys necklace which had his information, which were the basics.
''I'm probably gonna guess that he's in some sort of military, also judging by that symbol on the second tag.''Rainbow dash said as she took a glance at the tags on the chains.
''why such a young age,'' rarity asked with a surprised expression.
''No idea, but i'm go write a letter to the princess so keep an eye on him,'' and then twilight exited the cottage and went towards her library. Mean while all the girls were chatting among themselves mainly about the boy while he was unconscious. And after about an hour twilight came back and told every one that the princesses will be there shortly. And hopefully get some answers for their questions.
explanations and a meeting
After being told that the princesses will arrive shortly, the mane six were relieved. Happy that they could have their questions answered as well as see what the boy was so scared of.
''Ah wonder what got him got 'em scared enough to make this happen?'' Apple jack questioned as she gazed over towards the boy.
''Don't know, what ever it was, it really put an impact on him.Its like he's seen the most horrible event in his life.'' Twilight replied.
''We can ask Princess Luna if she can check his dreams and memories.''
''Well, both princesses will be coming here so that can be arranged.'' Rarity stated while sipping some tea that she had made. While the girls were just starting to talk about other topics after pinkie pie went to go plan a welcome to Equestria/ponyville party for when he wakes up. Naught ten minutes later there was a knock on the door and flutter shy went to see who it was. Basically it was the princesses that just arrived along with some gaurds. Then she opened the door to let them in.
''Princess Celestia, princess Luna its good to see you again.''twilight said as she gave Celestia a hug.
''Its good to see you again twilight, and is that the stranger you mentioned in your letter?''
''Yes your highness but he is unconscious right now and hasn't woken up yet due to shock.''rarity answered but then notice Luna head towards the boy.
''uh your highness, you might want to really be careful cause he can have real quick reflex's.''
''Don't worry twilight...didn't you include something about looking into his memory while he's in his current state,'' Celestia had questioned twilight about that detail since twilight suggested it to determine this persons problem and cause of fear. As well as to determine his homeland.
''Yes i did, if it's not to much of a problem.''
''Luna, can you try a spell that will allow us to peek into his memories if not then his dreams?''
''It will be a challenge but i'll be able to cast a spell to allow us to go into his memories together and see the past event.'' Luna answered as she charged up a spell. Then she just simply touched his forehead and the entire room changed to previous events.

Everyone opened their eyes to see that they were on some sort of base in the middle of the desert. The base was buzzing with activity, from seeing random patrol to seeing strange vehicular contraptions lined up in rows neatly,(much to rarities delight) with others vacant or being inspected.
Then about a minute later, the group started hearing a loud almost screaming noise coming up from the air and looked up. They saw those same contraptions flying in a v formation over head. This awed the mane six as well as the princesses. But Rainbow dash was more affected by the speed and the design. And then one by one the flying vehicles started landing. Each one landed on what could be called a run way, and they caught the vehicle the the boy was controlling and looked to see his name on the side of the view port.
''so his name is Anderson, but there is another name on there as well...Day Warrior.'' Twilight said as she observed the markings of his vehicle.
''Probably a nick name for him or his flying machine.''Rainbow added in while looking around the base and saw night time was about to appear.
''Anderson just went inside the building.'' twilight commented.
About an hour later he came back out with another soldier and started to patrol the perimeter. And the mane six and the two princesses started to follow them four about an hour and listened to their discussions which they were happy to here how he got that name of Day Warrior. Then they stopped, the entire group wondered why until they heard one of them say,''hey bob you see that?'' The one that just looked was bob as guessed, then the group looked at the direction pointed out and saw strange light just sitting there hovering above a sand hill.
''yea, lets go check it out first then tell----'' When the group heard that strange sound they looked at the two soldiers who were trying two fix it until Anderson looked back in the same direction.
''Uh dude, do you have any clue what on earth that is..''Anderson asked as bob and the group looked back to see a strange biped just standing there staring at them. Thats when bob just started freaking out a bit and the creature just dissapeared and the light started moving. The two soldiers just yelled run and just high tailed it back to base at speeds that would make Rainbow dash proud, then out of know were a bright flash of white appeared and the setting changed to the ever free forest. Then all of the sudden they were ripped out of the memory to be brought back right in front of Anderson who had a face of shock that shown he was still in a strange situation.
''What in Gods name did ya'll do to me!?''

Anderson was just standing there, gazing at each of these strange human beings, at which he guessed. Some how while he was in a deep sleep he felt some unknown presence in his mind to the point of looking at the direction he thought the feeling was coming from or just simply stopping in one spot for a couple of seconds. Now he's just standing here ,staring at the strange people after asking a simple question from earlier. also not to mention he has them in his sights at gunpoint with his M4 Carbine.
''It's alright just calm down...no need for violence,'' The tall one with the white wings said in a motherly tone which got him to calm down just a bit, but he's still on edge.
''Not until you explain who and what you are as well as were I am.''
''Well to begin with,'' the one with the white wings began,'' these are the mane six, Twilight, Apple jack, Rainbow dash, Flutter shy, Rarity, and Pinkie pie. I'm Princess Celestia co-ruler of Equestria along with my sister Princess Luna.''
That allowed Anderson to lower his gaurd a little but still kept his gun pointed at them just in case.It was taking a while to process this information as well as keeping an eye on the pink haired one, thankfully he had the safety on but had his finger on the switch just in case. Twilight was about to begin until pinkie pie came out of know and yelled out hi causing Anderson to turn off the safety causing a discharge followed by a scream at the same time. After the sudden jump scare everyone regained their composer after being disoriented, Anderson kept his gun on pinkie pie while the others were trying to figure out a way to get Anderson to calm down again.
''Pinkie pie, don't try that again,''Twilight exclaimed,'' he could've killed you.''
''oops, sorry,'' pinkie said sheepishly
''Alright now to your---'' Twilight was caught off by the radio that Anderson had in his pouch making the same static noise that was aquainted with the earlier encounter. This caused Anderson to freak out by looking all around the room aiming where ever he was looking. He was getting tired of the static to the point of sudden yelling.
''WERE ARE YOU!?!'' This caused every one to flinch.
''JUST LEAVE ME ALONE!'' H yelled as he collapsed on his knees while covering his ears and whispering 'leave me alone'. But what really got the group worried was when Anderson's nose started to bleed quite a bit. Flutter shy quickly went to get some napkins while the mane six tried to get him to calm down.
As Princess Celestia was watching the teen get comforted by the mane six, she couldn't help but feel they were being watched, so she opened the door and looked towards the ever free and saw one of those strange beings standing there looking at her and the house. She was about to say something and the being simply vanished in a blink of an eye. That's when the teen calmed down and asked...
''Is it gone?'' His voice was shacking but he was starting to calm down much to the groups relief.
''Yes it's gone but i wonder what it was, i never even seen a being like it.'' Princess Celestia answered.
''Wait what did it look like?'' Asked twilight all of the sudden.
''What ever it was it's gone but all i can say is that it was a grey being with black oval like eyes,'' Celestia was about to say more when the teen began to speak.
''What was that darling?'' Rarity questioned
''The grey.''
''Who are they and why are they after you?'' Twilight asked
''The grey are an extra terrestrial beings from space but i didn't believe it at first, I basicly thought they were just made up and now they got bob*sniff*and now their after me but i don't know why.'' Anderson began to sob quietly while the others soked in the information.

Off in the distance a blue mist materialized into a mysterious person that stood their and simply observe what has transpired.
''Hmmm, the grey, stalking this particular person. This could work for my plan. lets see if i can try to contact or get a hold of these beings and maybe we can come to an agreement.'' And with that she disappeared into the forest as the blue mist in search of these beings. But little did she know that one of them were watching her in the distance.

''NO...NO...NO...*SIGH*'' Nightmare moon was sitting in the library of the Castle of the royal sisters trying to find a spell that could help her contact the strange beings or get a hint of their capabilities, race, origin, anything that can give information to her.
For the past few hors she has been coped up in the library, simply like a kid that likes to study more than play. To be honest, she had never been this way before. But these beings she heard about intrigued her beyond point.
''Now i know what it feels like to act like twilight....*yawn* oh well I suppose i could take a short nap for now,'' Nightmare said tiredly, and again being watched by the same beings she is looking for unknowingly.

After the events that transpired the night of the sighting, Anderson had been up for almost the entire night while being paranoid and standing near the windows, door, attic, even the chimney. just simply standing there with his carbine locked and loaded, can't be too careful though, but he was still equipped with his standard issue gear. Right now, Anderson is just sitting at the table trying to stay awake. Flutter shy was still sleeping and so were her friends, but Anderson(While fighting a battle with sleepiness) was thinking about one thing and one thing only....coffee. He didn't want to make one without flutter shy's permission as well as not knowing how their machinery worked. Different world after all. So he'l just wait 'till either everyone wakes up, or in this case flutter shy.
''*Yawn* Good mornin sugar cube,'' Anderson was greeted by applejack as she woke up.
''It's never a good morning unless there's coffee sitting around, but i'm just waiting to see if it's alright to use the coffee machine....if flutter shy has one that is,''he stated tiredly,''but good morning.''
Anderson was used to this back home. When he was in middle school in the eighth grade, he was rude during the mornings when he was really tired. So to fix this his parents, (or father for instance) knew how to fix that...somehow, someway in a snap.

which somehow worked thanks to his father that usually had the same problem.Thanks dad, don't know how it worked, but thanks< Anderson thought to himself with a smile.
Couple minutes later he got bored. And to fix that, he took his gun apart to inspect/clean it for future use. Then as he was getting to the barrel of his weapon the rest of the girls finally woke up...except for rainbow dash of course. She basically stayed up with him all night to ask him questions about the flying machinery he was in as well as help keep watch. Then she simply fell asleep while talking to Anderson on the couch...not to mention it was on Anderson's shoulder, witch creeped him out a bit. Then he just simply places her on the couch and then stood watch until morning.
All in all, luckily, nothing happened....nothing. but now everyone was except rainbow was up.
Shortly after everyone woke up, and rainbow dash...finally, the girls wanted to show Anderson around the town to show him the peacefulness(almost peacefulness if three certain Pegasie hadn't shown up couple days before Anderson arrived) of ponyville.
So while Anderson was drinking coffee, after asking and figuring out how it worked, each of the girls were talking to each other in the living room about how they're going to accomplish this without a problem. Then they simply decided to show him around town starting at courisale(an/ please post the correct spelling in the comments cause i can't spell the name right...thx) boutique to get him a change of clothes, Sweet apple acres to try some apple cider and meet the family. As usual go to Sugar cube corner for pinkie to throw a party for Anderson, then towards twilight's library to do what she does best, asks question after question about the tech. in his world.
After everyone had breakfast, they had set out to give the tour of the town. And the first stop, rarities shop. She had explained to Anderson that she was a tailor that makes fancy dresses, much to his annoyance, and that she wants to make him a new set of clothing to replace, in her words ''bland and hideous'' outfit. But to him it raises a red flag.
''Why not, you'll look fabulous, plus you can't keep wearing...that around town all day,'' Rarity had said close with disbelief.
''One, simply cause i wear this uniform with pride, two i don't really like fashion, three you don't have to look all pretty and crap on the battlefield, and four, this is a really comfortable uniform.'' Anderson replied, with clear signs of annoyance showing.
''Plus if i was going to attend to an event that required formal wear i would wear my dress blues.'' He added in.
''Fine, then what do you want to wear around town.'' Rarity asked expecting it to be a nice pic.
''The same uniform that i have on, along with the cover required,'' he answered,'' which i can draw up, just need one pair though.''
Much to rarities dismay due to his choice of fashion and clothing. she had complied supprisingly. Then she told anderson that she would have the uniforms made by the next day. Then Anderson and the rest of the girls went to sweet apple acres to visit AJ's
family. They were nice people, like nicer than his neighbors back at home when he was in school. He had really gotten along with apple jacks brother due to similarities. Then after that she had Anderson try their cider. She was glad that he enjoyed it along with her family. she even told him that sometimes others get drunk off of cider which suprised him more.
''How on Earth can ya'll get drunk on cider,'' he asked,'' this stuff isn't even alcohol.''
''Really haven't thought about it but still,'' Apple jack answered.
After they were done there, it was time to head over to sugar cube corner. They were hoping that they didn't run into any problems on the way there. Especially Anderson. He wanted to come clean with out a bad reputation that could probably get him into big trouble with authorities...not to mention his history of almost putting people in the ER. Mainly bullies, but as it seems, murphies law gave everyone the middle finger that said 'F@#k you' and decided his fate...Not life fate but a different type of fate.

Jackson Air Force base (and let me know if that's is an actual base name in which i mean is it their or not)
Night watch, some hate it and some don't, that's how it is on the Jackson Air Force base as well as other bases.That wasn't the case for Pvt. Anderson. He was an air force pilot that flew an f-15 single seter jet. Some wonder why he's not doing those night patrols in the air instead of doing patrol on the ground. To put it bluntly, he doesn't fly during night time only during the day times which earned him the nickname Day Warrior, which was obvious. When the base commanders questioned on why that is and were about to transfer him from the air force to the Marine core until he stated,''I don't do well during night time, only the day time, and if you can allow it i'll do night watch on base to make up for it.''
Surprisingly they agreed and here he is along with a Army personnel that was stationed their. Now for the past few days the base has been seeing strange activities during the night. So Pvt.Anderson and his partner had been patrolling the perimeter for a week now, which they were tasked to find out whats happening around the base....up until now.The pair were just done with their patrol until something caught Pvt.Anderson's eye.
''Hey Bob, you see that,'' Bob was a Sgt. in the Army and for the reason behind his name not a clue. Bob looked in the direction were Anderson was pointing and sure enough their was strange activity going on near their AO.
''Yep, lets go check it out first then tell-----'' Bob was interupted when his radio started going static and started to act up, and they were still about two to three miles from base but then they started seeing something or some one on a sand hill towards the activity and what they saw was a haunting nightmare. What they were seeing was a tall dark figure just standing their and could barely tell what it looked like. But thanks to NVG's the soldiers were able to see it, or at least one which was Bob. They sat their for what felt like hours getting a good look at each other. From what bob was seeing was a seven foot tall being with dark soulless eyes that could make a man go insane. This continued until the being disappeared and a floating large light ball began coming their way. as soon as they saw it, the soldiers just flat out high tailed it, but saying that was an understatement. they were running fast enough to outrun an olympian runner due to their situation. But then something else happened, something that appeared out of no where an teleported them, and the UFO to a different world within a second. And with what just happened caused the entire base to come to life to inspect the bright flash of light as well as to try and look for the patrol unit.

Hey guys, it's me...i appreciate that people had given this story a chance before commenting, the likes given (as well as the dislikes, those tell me how i'm doing on my writing and what needs to be done to fix it.), and those who faved this story.
