Christopher Lamb and his adopted son, Kyle ran all the way to Equestria. All they want is to live a peaceful life, but are seen as a threat by the ponies. They retreat into the Everfree, where Christopher fights to protect his son.

Everything changes when a certain trio of fillies stumble into their territory.
