The Fog
The Fog
Load Full StoryIt was a normal day in the Canterlot castle. Celestia had just taken care of a problem that had happened with Skyla. Her little niece had went into the palace garden and had gotten lost in the maze. She was found safe a few minutes later, but she was covered head to hoof with mud.
Luna volunteered to wash Skyla. Celestia read over some notes anxtious ponies sent to her to ask for friendship advice. And the answer was always the same.
OMG. Sorry this is a voice-letter. I am no longer answering questions of friendship, for Twilight Sparkle is the new Princess. Thank you. Yo Princess, Celestia.
Celestia smiled and thought, boy I am a good Princess. As she sat and flipped through her never-ending journal to write the day's events, a royal guard came zooming in.
"Your majesty!" The Guard yelped. Celestia looked up from her work, "Majesty, there- there is a thing. An odd fog has been floating around the palace, it keeps whispering 'Alicorn.' Good thing it didn't head for you, Princess. It's heading to Ponyville."
"Oh, boy! TWILIGHT!" Celestia gasped. "Leave, guard." The Guard nodded and flew off. Celestia looked over the pile of pillows, books, and feathers.
'If only me, Skyla and Luna hadn't had that pillow fight last night,' Celestia grumbled. She finally managed to find a quill and some scratch paper.
She warned Twi in her letter that a weird substance was heading for Ponyville, and it is apparently looking for an Alicorn. Celestia nodded when she finished her work, and with a swipe of her magic, the letter sealed up with a red ribbon and disappeared.
"Twilight! Twilight!" Spike yelled running through the halls of the palace. He checked the library, but not there. Twilight's bedroom was empty as well, and Spike felt a letter coming on.
"Twi!" he yelled. He was still getting used to this very unfamiliar environment. The Golden Oak Library was only two stories high, and the palace contain ten stories, all filled with halls and rooms.
"Here, Spike," Twilight said. He fallowed the sound of her voice. She was laying in the nurses office.
"All good," Nurse Lucky said. The teel-blue mare ran her hoof over Twi's head. "Just a fever. You just need rest darling."
Twilight smiled and walked out the door.
"It is getting late, Spike. How about you go to bed?" Twilight instructed. Spike held up his pointer claw and burped out the scroll.
"Oh!" Twilight said. She read it and laughed.
"Well, we best get to bed then, or the fog will get you!" Twilight snickered. Spike looked terrified, and ran to his room.
Twilight giggled and went to go lay in her bed. Little did she know.....
The Fog was resting in her.
