//-------------------------------------------------------// The Only Thing He Wanted -by creep- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// ONE-SHOT C1: The Only Thing He Wanted //-------------------------------------------------------// ONE-SHOT C1: The Only Thing He Wanted So, the last-thought projection spell casted itself onto every pony in the room. Elements of Harmony, lucky guards, and the sisters that ruled Equestria. ________ All he ever wanted, hm? It's a touchy-touchy thing to touch up on. Well, according to the eyes of non-changelings.. they're just.. pests that fed off love, but that wasn't the real twisting truth of them. Most of them was just swearing loyalty to their beloved Queen, such as the standard Mare and Stallion to the Princesses. They seemed like tyrants bent on destruction, but they were just starving. So, Leuin was just a.. more unique Changeling. He had a more complex train of thought. He had ideas, ambitions, dreams.. like any other pony. But that was crushed when he was met to the deafening fate of Princess Twilight's magical beam. It tore through his body like a sharpened pencil through wet paper. His thoughts had begun to race. All a big lie to him. His dreams of actually being accepted by the ponies.. have been annihilated by the ones he dreamt of being friends with. He had heard the tales of the Princess Twilight and the Elements of Harmony. Friends. Happiness. Peace. Harmony, as it's said. Why can't he have it, too? Why was he discriminated for having holes in his body.. fangs, ragged structure, gleaming blue eyes.. was it because.. he wasn't.. normal? Love. Why did he even have to feast off love? He grasped the concept of love when he had witnessed the casual mare and stallion having a conversation. They had a future together, their dreams and ambitions combined. Their beliefs, shared with each other. Why can't he have that luxury? Oh wait. He was just a stereotypical love-leech. That's all he ever was. He knew he wasn't going to live through this one. He had his wings burnt by Celestia's sun beam, and his left fang chipped by a luckily dodged spear. Leuin just wanted to be normal. Normal like them. He wanted to have friends. He wanted to have these well-said beings his trusted specimen. He was only met his cruel, cruel fate by them. He had two trusted friends' bodys disemboweled by an explosion not too long earlier. In all honesty, when they had invaded, he just wanted to cower with his two friends and wait until it was over. But no. His friends were dead and he sat there in shock. He looked over, his eyes showing no emotion on the outside, but in terrible fear as the purple beam shimmered in his glistening eyes. That's when he learned before his head smashed onto the stone, to be forgotten and spat on by the history of how the ponies with no holes in them were mighty and were better than the love-leechers. They were below the ponies. All they wanted was some sort of spell that would change their desires to something more.. natural, something more non-fatal. He couldn't be friends. He was just pure evil. Was he, really? He hatched, birthed, grew, grew, learned, learned, grew, fought, and died. He was about as old as the fabled Rarity and Rainbow Dash. He had heard of the purple dragon, Spike. He wanted to meet him so dearly and claim he wasn't a monster. Just accept him. Maybe even shake hooves with the Princess Cadance herself. But fate is always a cruel mistress. Leuin's thoughts continued to race. So many things he wanted to do. Smashed by the ones who had inspired him. It's ironic, really. Wanting to meet the all great Princesses and Elements of Harmony. He wanted a peaceful life, learn about what love is truly, since he never had the chance, and start his own lineage. He wanted. And wanted. And wanted. But he couldn't get. It was them who were the evil ones! They slay one of his own, and the other is seethed with rage, seeing how that one was a great friend of his/her. But only for that one's life to be ended maliciously with a fresh smell of satisfactory. Now, that process has spread to him, yet he didn't grasp it, seeing how he was in pure shock of how his friends had just faded from existance. He just wanted to be normal. That's the only thing Leuin wanted. Ssslllthht! A hissing growl of agony followed soon after, his head smashing against the stone, being rendered lifeless. ________ All they had felt was guilt. This changeling, saw as a monster and a freak, just wanted to be like them. And they had stolen his ambitions and dreams away. He wanted to hide and cower with his only friends, but they were blown to bits and he was killed for standing too still. He wanted to meet the Princess Twilight herself and exchange greetings and hooves. He wanted to speak with Spike and the Elements of Harmony. He wanted to be accepted as a normal stallion by the Princesses. He wanted a normal life, he wanted to be the average go-getter of the bunch. He wanted to be friends with everypony. But they had taunted him by shaking that dream above his grasp, and ending his life on mares and guards who were actually happy to see him fall. It was a big misunderstanding, but it was too late. It was way too late. The die was cast, and his final thoughts was his tears of disbelief, hopeless discouragement and searing rage that ran into the wind swiftly. He couldn't take it. The pain was unbearable. Even Princess Luna and the guards had to leave the room to excuse themselves. Celestia had saw into the invisible air, as if almost seeing the Changeling's corpse sit idly, it's glares being softened of forgiveness. The Elements of Harmony had been crying. The tables had turned, indeed. He just wanted to breathe. Breathe once again. But this was just another cruel life of a Changeling who dreamt too far.
