A Link to the Magic of Friendship
Goodbye, my stone prison.
Link stood on the pedestal as a statue. He could only look in one direction, but in that direction, he could see Discord being put into place.
"You idiot! Why did you even...." Discord sighed, telepathically.
"I don't know what I did wrong. It's strange, you know?" Link sighed back.
"Do you think she's okay?" Discord chuckled.
"Fairies are immortal, Link. I'm pretty sure that she's still out there." He sighed once more.
"You did everything that you could?" Discord chuckled.
"I did that AND had some fun too!" Link was saddened by this.
"Listen, Link. I have enough magic in this form to break you out. You can find your friend and live happily, okay?" He chuckled.
"What do you want this time?" Discord sighed.
"Consider me doing this as a favor for keeping me company for all of these years." Link gasped.
"Are you serious?!?" Discord giggled once more.
"Yes." Link attempted to smile, yet couldn't in his stone state.
"We will need to wait until dark, though. They can't know that you left."
"I understand Discord."
At night.....
"Okay. You have to leave silently, or they'll find you. The last place I saw Navi was in the Everfree. Be sure not to talk to anypony there." A crack grew in Link's statue.
"Thank you so much Discord...." More cracks grew in the statue, until it busted open. A human child came out.
"Stay safe...." Discord's voice faded away. Link nodded, realizing that his sword and shield had dropped. He grabbed them, heading away from the castle gardens.
"Everfree...... where would that be again?" He walked up a staircase in the castle, just as a guard walked down.
"Halt! Who goes there!!!" Link ran up to him, knocking the guard out.
"I'm so sorry..." He continued to run up, until he found a hatch that led to the roof.
"I can get a better view up here...." Link thought, looking outside of the hatch. Guards were already investigating the stone bits on the ground. One looked up, seeing Link on the roof.
"Halt!! Stop right there!!!" He shouted. Link looked down to the guard.
"Oh crap...." He ran across the roof of the castle, attempting to dodge the magic bolts that were flying towards him.
"What did I ever do?!?" Link questioned himself. The last thing that he remembered doing was asking locals about Navi. He then got arrested and turned into stone.
"I can't worry about that right now. I have to find Navi first...."
A guard came into,the throne room, where Luna and Celestia were sitting.
"Your majesty!" He shouted, bowing down.
"The Hero has been freed...." Celestia gasped while Luna looked in confusion.
"The.... hero?" Celestia looked outside, seeing the Hylian running away from the castle.
"Yes. He is the Hero of Time itself!" She said. Luna walked to the window.
"Was he one of the statues?" Celestia nodded.
"He somehow got freed.... I don't know how!" Luna looked to Celestia.
"Should we persuade him to return?" Celestia shook her head.
"I will leave that up to Twilight and her friends. They are the only ones who can put him back into his stone casing...." Luna looked Celestia in the eye.
"What did he do that was so wrong?" Celestia shook her head.
"I don't want to talk about it..." She said, walking away from the window. She sighed. Luna walked up to her.
"You know you can tell me anything." Celestia sighed and looked at Luna, who had a smile on her face.
"He basically.... killed my true love....." Luna looked at Celestia.
"What do you mean your 'true love'?" Celestia looked down.
"His name was Ganon....." She had tears in her eyes.
"He was slain by that... monster......" Luna put her hoof on Celestia's back, trying to comfort her.
"You should rest, my sister. It is late tonight...." Celestia nodded, and walked off to bed.
"Goodnight...." Luna nodded as she walked towards the window.
"Did he kill this 'Ganon' out of cruelty, or was he forced to?" Luna asked herself.
"I will find out by tonight....."
Link looked back, seeing that the castle was miles away.
'If I do return to my stone casing, I want to say goodbye to Navi first.....' Link thought. He sat down and sighed.
"I will find you, Navi....." He said, looking to the stars.
"I swear it..." He put his sword and shield on the ground, laying next to them. He yawned.
"Please say they won't catch me......." He said, drifting off to sleep.
Link stood in front of the giant pig creature, known as Ganon. It had two swords, along with sharp tusks.
"You will DIE!!!!" It shouted, knocking the Master Sword out of Link's hand. It flew out of the fiery ring he was trapped inside of.
"Don't worry Link! Me and you will do this together! No more hiding!" The fairy said, flying around Link in circles. He smiled.
"We will do this together Navi!" The grabbed his 'Giant's Knife' and hit Ganon on the tail with it, causing him to wince in pain. He kicked Link into a wall.
"Hey! Listen!" Navi shouted. Ganon looked over her way, while Link went behind him and smacked his tail a second time. Ganon fell down, dropping both of his swords.
"Come and get your sword Link!" A young lady exclaimed. With speed and precision, he rolled over to his trusty sword through the opening that the girl made. He ran back inside, Ganon standing up.
"You can't get me this time!!!" He shouted with a roar. He grew bigger, his tusks growing longer and sharper.
"Yes I can!" Link shouted back, getting his bow and arrows. He shot Ganon in the nose, causing him to fall down.
'I'm sorry Celestia.....' Ganon thought. He looked up. Seeing that Link already finished it, and he was being sealed......
"So that's what happened..." Luna said, continuing to watch.
"Link is about to wake up, so I better get out of here."
Link sat up, seeing that it was Daytime.
"Already?!?"
