While Equestria is a generally nice place, that doesn't mean everyone living there is nice. Many are incarcerated in Prison.
But Twilight decides to make a documentary about these inhabitants. She thinks she should let their stories be told. Because no matter how bad these inmates are, they're still part of this world.
So here is what's going to happen:
Each of the Mane 6 choose a prison. Then, they will choose 4 inmates to interview. Each of a different species- Changeling, Pony, Griffin, Zebra. Then the Warden will be interviewed about the prisons history.
Then the next mare will choose, and the process repeats.
You ready?
Let's do this.

(By the way, I'm going to use the prison's from "The Escapists". That game inspired me to create this story.)

NOTE: I am sorry, but I have cancelled this story. Looking back, it was just too bad and unedited to continue. Right now, I am working on my new story. I apologize for everyone who wanted it to continue.

Prologue

"What?" said Rarity.
Twilight sighed as she ran her hoof through her mane. "Princess Celestia thinks it's a great idea to teach young ponies about the consequences of breaking the law." she explained to the mare. "There will be guards!"
"So what? I am not going inside a filthy building with horrible ponies! It's insane!" Rarity yelled. "I can not be the only one who does not want to go!"
"Actually, everyone is fine with it." Twi assured.
"Really? Even Fluttershy?"
"Yes. Even Fluttershy."
...
"Okay. But if something bad happens, it's on you!" Rarity said.
Twilight was filming a prison documentary tomorrow. All of her friends were coming.
Should she leave Rarity here?
No, that would be mean. But she really didn't want to go.
Hopefully she'll take interest.
But for now, It worried her.
Inmates could not be trusted.
Twilight was going from minimum to maximum security prisons, so she thought that the more security, the worst inmates.
They just had to find out.

Fluttershy: Center Perks Prison (part 1)

As the Carriage pulled up to their first destination, their Cameracolt turned on the camera. The first choice was made by Fluttershy, who was even more nervous than Rarity. She had wanted to choose a prison with criminals who were not horrible-just bad.

A Colt with a brown coat and eyes started toward the Carriage. He was well tailored, with a name tag that said "Warden Crime Keeper". Twilight opened the Carriage door, and a prison guard came over and helped the girls get out, one by one.
"Hello Ladies," said Crime Keeper, "Welcome to Center Perks, the lowest security prison in the country. I'll have some of the guards take care of you especially."
"Thank you warden" said Twilight. As they continued into the prison, the mares could see that there were about 25 prisoners lined up in front of 8 guards roll calling.
"Cooool" said Rainbow Dash "What are they doing warden?" she asked the Colt.
"Morning Roll Call." replied the warden "Just to make sure everyone's there."
"Why?" asked Twilight "Have you had any escape attempts?"
The warden paused, and then said "Yes. Many. Most have been successful, but itis the lowest security prison in Equestria."

Twilight and the Cameracolt glanced at each other.

"The technology we have here is limited. We only have computers, and contraband detectors in the workplaces. However, we try to make the inmates feel welcome, even while in prison."

"Are...the prisoners nice?" Fluttershy spoke.

"Um..." the Warden started "Most of them."

"Good, I would hate for any of those monsters to try anything." Rarity said in disgust.
...
"Um, yes, well, I take it that you would like to interview the four inmates now, correct?" the Warden asked Twilight.

"Yes."she replied.

"Alright then."

The warden walked over to one of the guards and whispered something in his ear.

"CLOUD KICKER! FOLLOW THE WARDEN!" the guard yelled.

A Colt in a prisoner Jumpsuit emerged from the crowd. He had a green coat and blue eyes with a short blue mane.

As the group headed to a special interrogation room, the Cameracolt focused in on the inmate. He had the number 15 on his jumpsuit.

As he entered the room and sat down, guards hovered feet away.

"So, I am directing a documentary about inmates lives in prison." Twilight explained "You, along with 4 other inmates, will be interviewed about your crime, and how prison life is for you. Do you accept?"

"Yes, I accept." he said.

"Okay, first, what is your name and age?" she asked.

"Cloud Kicker, age 27." he replied.

"Where are you from, Mister Kicker?"

"Baltimare."

"Okay, now it's my turn." Rainbow Dash said. "What are you in for, maggot?"

Twilight rolled her eyes.

"Burglary. I had 12 successful break-ins before I was caught."
"You scoundrel! Snatching innocent ponies prized possessions! You deserve prison!" Rarity yelled at the surprised colt.

Silence.

"Um, I think It's my turn," Rarity said, blushing. "M-mister Kicker, what is your sentence?"
"A year and a half. I've been here for a year already, so I'm in here for 6 more months."

"Good, now, Pinkie Pie?" Rarity asked the Pink Pony.
"Ooh, yeah, I have a question, um, are there cupcakes in prison? I love cupcakes, especially with sprinkles and-"Pinkie was stopped by Twilight.

"Uh, yeah, so, Applejack, do you have anything to ask him?" Twilight asked the orange mare.

"Sure, ah can say somethin'." The mare said. She walked up to the colt.
And stared him in the eye (AJ was really good at that. Not better than Flutters, but...)\

"Do y'all know that what y'all did is wrong?"
....
"Sure." he replied.
"Good. So y'all won't do it again. Learn the value of hard work."
"Um... probably not." the colt said, eyeing the the country mare strangely.

"Right. So, uh, Fluttershy?" Twilight asked the mare staying away from the prison colt.
Fluttershy shook her head no.

"Okay then. Mister Kicker, one more thing." Twilight said.
Cloud Kicker sighed "Yes, Twilight?"
"How would you- wait a second, how do you know my name?" Twilight asked.
Cloud Kicker stared at her.
"Seriously?" he said. "Your Twilight Sparkle who hasn't heard of you
Twilight blushed. "I-uh, I'm flattered, Cloud, but..."

Everyone stared. Even the guards eyed her weirdly.

"Just, whatever!" she exclaimed "How would you describe your prison life?"
"Meh, it's okay. Not perfect, but I bet it's at least better than most prisons. Nice guards, nice prisoners, nice warden. What more can you ask for?"

"Thank you Cloud. You may leave now." Twilight told the inmate.

As he was escorted by the guards, Twilight turned to her friends. "That wasn't so bad, was it?" she asked Rarity.
"No... but I didn't enjoy it." the mare said.
"Well, you better start, because we have a Griffin, a Zebra, and a Changeling to interview next."
"WHAT?!"
"Let's go guys." Twi said while starting to walk to the lunchroom.
Rarity very, very, very hesitantly followed.

The Warden led the girls into the lunchroom, where he told another guard something.

"EVERYBODY! EYES ON ME!" the guard bellowed.
"IF YOU ARE A GRIFFIN, STAND UP!"
6 or 7 Griffins stood up.

Two seconds later, the same exact guard with that cannon-like voice of his.
"CRALLAND! FOLLOW THE WARDEN!"

A slick looking Griffin started towards the group. As soon as he caught sight of Rainbow Dash, he licked his claw and ran it through his fur.

Well, thought Twilight, this should be interesting.

My new story! I'm glad to get this off of my hands. This chapter took me forever to finish. I procrastinate.
I'm doing all of the prisons from "The Escapists".
Oh, yeah, I forgot.
I do not own "The Escapists". All rights belong to... those guys who made the game.
I should understand the ropes of copyrighted material before I use other people's stuff.
