//-------------------------------------------------------// Gift in the Ashes -by Mystic Solaris Knight- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// We're So Screwed... //-------------------------------------------------------// We're So Screwed... "Pinkie, remember don't touch any-" "Yeah yeah!" Pinkie nodded her head eagerly, pushing Rainbow out of her cloud house. "I know! Don't touch anything, feed Tank regularly, read stories to Tank before bedtime, and write letters!" It was amazing that Pinkie Pie was able to walk on clouds, but just to be sure Twilight placed a cloud walking spell on her. Rainbow Dash was asked to join the Wonderbolts on their Las Pegasus Airshow since Fleetfoot got a feather flu. Rainbow, of course, joined but that also meant that she has to leave Tank. She couldn't do that so she asked her friends. Twilight was busy for a reason because Princess Celestia asked her to prepare a special event. Rarity was busy because Fancypants asked her to join him to Manehattan for some business. Applejack was busy because it was applebucking season. Fluttershy was busy because she went to visit her family in Cloudsdale. Spike was busy taking his seven hour bubble bath! Celestia, somepony needs to tell him not to take those things anymore! So it was all just Pinkie Pie. Rainbow couldn't let Tank starve, and she didn't want to pressure Fluttershy. That left her no choice since Pinkie Pie was all open. Rainbow peered at her suspiciously before smiling, "Thanks, Pinks." Pinkie laid her pink hoof on her chest, beaming with pride, "You can count on me, RD!" Rainbow said her last goodbye before she took off to the skies as Pinkie watched her. Then, Pinkie closed the door, smiling at Tank who blinked slowly. "I guess it's just you and me, Tankie Rank!" Pinkie giggled as she trotted to the living room. Tank followed in before a loud grumble filled the room. "Whoa! You must be really hungry!" Pinkie exclaimed. She smiled as she patted Tank's head, "Don't worry! Your auntie, Pinkie Pie, will be here to help you!" Tank slowly smiled in response, making Pinkie grin wider. "Ohh Tank! I've got you your favorite! Fishes!" Pinkie giggled as she pushed the plate to Tank who was sitting on the cloud couch. Tank lowered his head in a slow motion way and begun chewing the plate instead of the fishes. "I wonder how's Dashie doing!" Pinkie wondered out loud, not paying attention to Tank as she looked up to the ceiling. She turned her attention to Tank, still not noticing he's chewing on the plate, "What do you wanna do today? Go to the park? Swim in the lake? Ooh ooh ooh! Go baking!" Suddenly, the thunder cracked, making Pinkie Pie scream. Then, she snorted in laughter, "Thunder! You had me there!" Tank just stared at Pinkie Pie before eating again. Pinkie was just being random again. Pinkie noticed the rain beating against the cloud house. "Wow! I wonder how this cloud is waterproof! I mean, clouds make rain don't they? They make rain and we get rain from clouds and clouds get wet and and and-!" She gasped in horror, "We won't be able to play outside!" (Dramatic song) Pinkie giggled, "Never fear! We'll just find a gaming board! Dashie always have one! She said it would be somewhere right-..." Pinkie poked her head through Rainbow Dash's room, "-...here!" She spotted the gaming board labeled 'Monopony'. "Hey, Tank! You play Monopony?!" Of course, she did not get a reply. "Okay!" She yelled again. Then, something shiny caught her eye. She turned to find a sparkling rainbow stone. "Ooh!" Pinkie dropped the board back and stepped closer to the priceless artifact. "Sparkly!" For our daughter, Rainbow Dash Love, Mom and Dad "Whoa!" Pinkie gasped in awe, "I never knew this before! Why didn't Dashie tell me?" Little did she know, Tank hovered in and bumped her. Pinkie let out a 'whoa' before she stumbled forward in process of knocking down the rainbow artifact. CRACK! "Oh no!" Pinkie cried, looking at the broken rock. "Dang! These cloud floors are hard!" Tank looked at it sadly before Pinkie grabbed his head and pulled him close to her face, "Do you realize what this means?!" Tank could only blink in response. Pinkie looked at the artifact in guilt and fear, "We're so screwed." Five hours later... "I did it!" Pinkie beamed in pride as she lifted the glued artifact high. "I fixed it!" CRACK! Pinkie's ears drooped and her smile turned into a frown as the rock fell into pieces again. "Oh come on!" She screamed in frustration before she was silenced by the thunder. She glared at you. "AUTHOR!" What?! "Why can't you fix this?! Why can't I fix this?! You have the power to do this!" Yes, I do have the power, but I have the power not to! "Why? Why me?!" Sorry, but I made this story...though the next chapter is going to be painful... Pinkie gulped at this, "Oh mane..." BACK TO THE STORY! PLEASE READ YOUR LINES! "Sorry, sorry!" Pinkie ducked her head sheepishly before she sighed, "Dashie's going to be really mad at me, Tank! What am I going to do?" Pinkie gasped, "And we'll never be friends again!" Pinkie hugged Tank close, "A-and we'll never play pranks again!" She squeezed the green shell harder, " A-A-And we'll never ever ever ever talk to each other!" "That's a lot of 'ever's, Tank!" Pinkie said, rocking Tank back and forth quickly, "That's like..." (Dramatic song) "FOREVER!" //-------------------------------------------------------// Idea!!! //-------------------------------------------------------// Idea!!! "Pinkie!" Pinkie gasped and hid the artifact immediately. Twilight trotted in with a confused look on her face. When she found Pinkie Pie, she gave out a relieved smile, "Oh, there you are. I thought you were lost in the storm yesterday." "Yesterday?" Pinkie blinked. Suddenly, she remembered when she fell asleep while trying to glue the pieces back together! "Oh, that..." Noticing Pinkie down, Twilight furrowed her eyebrows, "Is everything alright?" "No, Twilight," Pinkie sighed, "It's not..." "What do you mean?" Twilight began to feel anxious or scared. "I broke something..." Pinkie sniffed, her mane a little flat. "B-broke what?" Twilight stuttered. If Pinkie accidentally broke Tank, she's going to be dead. "THIS!" Twilight gasped at the broken sight of the rainbow rock. "W-what happened to it?" "I accidentally broke Rainbow Dash's gift from her parents!" Pinkie cried. "Now she'll never be my friend again!" "Pinkie, of course she is still your friend," Twilight said soothingly. "A silly gift won't break your friendship with Rainbow." "But she will be mad at me!" Pinkie sobbed. "Yes, she will," Twilight nodded, "but she will forgive you...Don't worry, Pinkie, I'm sure she'll understand..." Pinkie could only nod as she hugged Twilight. "There there, Pinkie," Twilight whispered, "It was only an accident." Pinkie wiped her tears and made a determined face, "You're right, Twilight! Friendships can't be broken by just a gift!" Twilight gave a soft smile before frowning as she saw Pinkie drowning slowly in the clouds. Pinkie's eyes widened, "Uh, Twilight? Why are you here?" "Oh! Right!" Twilight facehoofed herself. "I came to renew the spell so you won't drown in the clouds...which you are right now." Twilight's aura slowly wrapped Pinkie before it was done. Twilight beamed, "Done!" "Yippee!" Pinkie jumped on the cloud. Then she frowned, "But I'm still scared of what will Rainbow do..." Twilight smiled, "It's going to be okay. I'm right there when you need me..." "Thanks, Twi," she reflected the smile, hugging her back. Suddenly, she gasped, pushing Twilight away, "I'VE GOT A GREAT IDEA!" Twilight scratched her head, "What is it?" "How about I go to the new store that can fix ANYTHING, and by the time Rainbow Dash comes back, she won't notice a thing!" Pinkie grinned at her idea. "I don't think tha-" "LET'S GO!" Pinkie grabbed the shattered heart and put them in a bag. "Pinkie!" But it was too late. Pinkie had already left. Twilight sighed in worry, "I hope everything will be okay."
